I had set an alarm for 9am just in case Abi slept through her normal wake up time, and I am glad I did as I climbed out the shower just after 10am to find she was still sound asleep. She has never slept this long and if she wasn’t lightly snoring I would have been worried that she had stopped breathing.
I dried my body and got dressed wrapped my hair up in a towel as I pottered about gathering her clothes for today and getting her bag ready also.
I had taken all her blankets off so she could ease herself awake and just as I was going to dry my hair she woke up and was bright eyes and full of smiles.
