After saying goodbyes to Skye and Calum, Skye giving Abi hundreds of kisses, we left and headed back to mine. We still had a few hours until our dinner reservation and Abi was desperate for a nap, she was getting grumpy, and she hates sleeping in her car seat.
As soon as we were back, I left Dale to deal with all the shopping bags as I carried a half asleep Abi to her room. Taking off her jacket and little booties, I quickly changed her nappy and got her settled for a nap. Dale had left her bags by the door and I just moved them a little to close the door behind me.
I met Dale in the kitchen to find him making himself at home and organising some coffee.
“she go down OK?“. He asked as he pulled me into him wrapping his hand around my waist.
