the simple embroidered Red Anarakali Ruthba wore and covered herself in resham dupatta.
never ever Ruthba Rahil looked so beautiful,
so innocent......
she never thought she would have what was meant for Rushda.
the outfit quite loose, ill fitting around her bust a little and the waist.
she must add, that it really really beautiful that she fell in love with it at first sight
Rahat Raichand, her about to be husband choose it himself!
Rushda had quite a different opinion about it......and that was before she left!
it was loose because Rushda had put on some weight.....it was past 16week! Obviously she would show.
the day Raichand's finally found out about Rushda's pregnancy......safe to say it became more like of a silent warning, before a huge storm!
Baba's blood pressure spiked up all of a sudden, Rahat stood there frozen, silent! Even Insiyaa was shocked and but it was Ruthba who revealed that she already knew from the very beginning.....at the hospital in Pakistan!
no wonder Rushda hardly left her room ever since they came back from Pakistan.
Baba was still lost in thoughts about what to do and how!
after all this is India.
Raichands' were always been an easy target to point fingers at ever since the day Amarendra Raichand, son of a hindu Bhramin baniya (businessman) converted into Muslim to marry a Muslim woman named Ahana hayat and now this!
till this day.....they were still criticised.
especially Insiyaa!
Amarendra was able to save the boys by sending them abroad but Insiyaa, his only daughter, he couldn’t even think of allowing her out of his sight,....
thinking some harm may came!
around the end of the 17 week.....
Rahat Raichand suddenly announced out of nowhere infront of the family that he'd marry Rushda Rahil, once again!

....this time there was no anger on Rushda's face, nor arrogance!
Her expression was blank!
Baba was shocked,
Insiyaa's jaw was on the floor,
Shawkat was surprised, he didn’t realised exactly how obsessed Rahat was for her.
Ruthba stumbled back ever so slightly......from the impact as well
but only Rushda remained on her seat with a very very unreadable expression......!
it was decided by him that the ceremony will be very simple for now.....
but after the----delivery of that bay, they will do an extravagant reception!
Rahat will give the baby his name but they will keep the baby hidden until then and they will forge an adoption paper so no one would be able to point finger on Rushda or the Raichand family's honour.
according to him(Rahat), it was a win-win situation!
and Shawkat just realised at what length his brother was ready to go just to have Rushda Rahil as his wife.
He and Baba looked at each other and exchanged a look...
"bhai are you---
"i have never been more sure......and i believe you would have no problem as well now, Rushda" He softly asked,
Rushda was still silent, she swallowed before looking at everyone present infront of her!
suddenly all her fearful expression wiped out of her face......
another unreadable expression!
she gave nod!
Ruthba who was standing behind her took a sharp breath in before letting out a shaky sigh......Insiyaa noticed that as well as Shawkat.
18th week came as well......
there was everything from dress to jewellery to the decorations..... everything was done according to how Rahat wanted.
Amarendra Raichand surprisingly kept himself silent, watching everything, every where but never uttering a word.
the wedding day came too.......too fast than Insiyaa or anyone would have like liked for the fact except Rahat.
it was just before the sundown when Ruthba was knocking at Rushda's door,....then she realise door slowly opened itself and inside Insiyaa was standing there holding the Anarkali beside the vanity table with a pale, lost expression!
"Insu....where is Rushi, i was knocking for so long, why didn’t you open the door, where is she,...Moulvi is about to be here in half an hour!" Ruthba asked looking around
Insiyaa turned around with a jerk,......at first her expression was one of unprepared, scared but it was all gone!
"then......we have exactly half an hour to get you ready" She said in one go

so, that's how Ruthba was standing there waiting for what fate waiting for her at the next moment.......
she was numb, she just couldn’t understand what just happened, one moment there was her sister, her almost 19 week pregnant sister was just offered a fortune, a good luck she never thought was possible ever again for her sister.....
a fate Ruthba prayed for herself every night.
and only a stupid can throw away such a love like this!
her sister was stupid......
but she was not!
