Greene silently stood, and walked out of the cafeteria, as the laughter filled the room.
I didn't miss the glimmer of tears that filled her eyes, or the way a flash of disappointment moved through them
"What is wrong with you?" I roar over everyone and Jasmine games a step back, her eyes wife.
"Teddy. . I . . I was warning her I just-"
"I don't want you anymore Jasmine, back off before I make you."I scowl at her before quickly moving in the direction Greene went.
Pushing through the girls bathroom door, she squeaked.
"You're not supposed to be in here." She scolds before continuing to dab tissues on her shirt and I sigh
"I'm sorry she did that."
"It's okay. I should've known better." She murmurs and i raise an eyebrow.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I'm new, it's my first day here, i shouldn't mingle with the popular crew. Especially not the queen bee's boyfriend." She scoffs and i clench my jaw.
"I'm not her boyfriend."
"Oh so you're one of those guys then?"
"Can you please stop?" I Snap and a look of hurt flashes through her eyes at my tone. I hand her one of my spare shirts. "Your shirt is ruined, i know this is a bit. . Big . . But it's better than walking about with a huge red stain on your shirt."
I remove my hat and place it onto her now wet hair, letting my gold locks fall onto the tip on my ear
She stares up at it, her lips parted, before she sighs.
"Thanks." She says for the third time today. "I'm sorry. . I just. . . Bad experience from past schools. " i nod understanding before deciding to give her some privacy.

"I look ridiculous." Greene comments as she exits the girls bathrrom, although a small smile on her face. I grin, seeing her in my plain grey t-shirt and baseball hat, her curls hanging down to her shoulders.
"You look cute. You should keep it."
There were evident red smudges on her light blue jeans but there was nothing we could do about that right now, and it didn't seem to bother her that much so we hurriedly walked to her locker before the bell rang.
The day went by slowly, since it seemed that Greene and I only had two classes together, chemistry and P.E.
When it was time to go home, I met her at the lockers her face scrunched up as she typed furiously on her phone.
"Hey." I greet and she jumps.
"Oh, hi teddy." She bites her lip, pushing her phone into her back pocket.
"Is everything okay?" I question and she nods, closing her door, although I suspected a lie, I left it alone.
"See you tomorrow?" She says turning to leave and a deep feelong of disappointment settles in my chest.
"What're you doing this afternoon?" I found myself asking and she looks thoughtful.
"I have to go grocery shopping." She informs and I nod.
"Care for some company?"
"Sure." She smiles. "However, i gotta run home and get freshened up first, here's my number and i'll text you when I'm ready. We'll meet at Tenco's." I nod, she places her number in my phone and calls herself. "Later, Ted." She giggles before walking away, and once again i am awestruck by the new girl who wore my clothes.
"Dude." A hard impact at the back of head, causes me to whip around and land a punch straight into the assaulter's stomach. "Dang Teddy. Relax." Jace wheezes and I roll my eyes at my best friend.
Jace, was the only one I considered my real friend in the land of plastic. Dark black hair, and brown eyes, Jace has stood up for me, lied for me, and been there to watch me crumble and help me back up, countless times. He knows all my secrets and sadly as much as I want to hate him sometimes, e can't stay away from each other .
No homo.
"You dumped me like a hot potato for that new girl." He fold his arm, trying to appear jealous and i smirk.
"I'm sorry jace, it's not you, it's me." He rolls his eyes and I throw my hand around his shoulder, ruffling his hair. " You know you can't be replaced dude."
"Stop touching me you pig." He grunts roughly removing mg hand and fixing his hair. We walk towards my Mercedes before hopping in. Jace was one of those geeks who believed in preventing global warming, so we did that whole carpooling thing, once again, not my idea. "She's pretty hot, i must say. And was it your attire she had on today?"
"Well, she's mine so back off, and yes, yes it was." I say proudly and he rolls his eyes.
"Yours?" He snorts. "Who are you and where's Teddy? Its been a few hours man, and you already sound whipped."
"Not everyone wants to risk contracting an STD for the rest of their lives Jace."
"Hey! I don't judge your new life style. Dont judge mine."

After the next six hours of fortnite with Jace, I lazily pick up my phone.
I'm leaving right now - Greene♡ ~ 3:25
Hey, are you still coming? - Greene♡ ~ 4:30
I guess you got caught up with something, I'm done so it's okay, see you at school tomorrow. Goodnight - Greene♡- 5:00
"No." I murmur, my mouth wide open. "No, no, no!" I groan rather loudly, kicking away my controller.
"Calm down dude, what's up?" He asks as I tug angrily at my hair.
"I had to go help Greene with grocery shopping. I totally forgot." I groan again.
"Call her and apologize." Jace says and I nod, grabbing my phone and quickly dial her number.
It goes straight to voicemail and I frown.
"Sorry man." Jace shrugs and I grunt, throwing my phone across the room. "Jeez, you've known her for a day and she's already got you like this? You're in trouble."
Indeed, I was.
