Chapter Eleven

I got dressed in some thing that looked nice but not to over the top for having to go on a double date with my cousin, her love interest and a married guy. Weird combination. 

I wore my skinny jeans, black wedge heels, a sleeve and strapless boob tube top with my fake tye. My make up was done like always, black eye liner and shadow and my dark purple lip stick. I quickly straightened my hair and walked out of my room, down the stairs and into the front room. Josh wasn't in there, Thank god. Emily and Damon were on the sofa. 

He slowly leaned forward and kissed her. I dont think he noticed me in the door way. I left the room quickly to give them some space and headed to the kitchen. I went to the fridge and grabbed a J2O. Closing the door again, I reached up, grabbed the bottle opener and opened my drink. I looked over and saw the back doors were open. i put my drink down and walked over to them

'Hello?' I called out into the back garden. Josh suddenly jumped in front of the door way and grabbed me around the waist.

'Aaaaaahhhhhhh' I screamed. Josh started laughing. I hit him on the arm and walked away. He followed me.

'Aww..come on. It was a joke.' He whined. I turned around and looked at him.

'Yeah, well, it wasn't funny f**k head!' I shouted at him. His smiled seemed to disappear but came bouncing back. I looked at him, I opened my mouth to say some thing but Emily and Damon came back into the room. I walked around Josh and over to the doors again. Closing and locking them behind me and grabbing my drink off the side.

'Right, Ready?' Emily asked, looking at me and Josh. We both nodded and followed Emily and Damon though the house and out the front door. We all walked down the drive way when I suddenly realised...Emily and Damon were holding hands. Are they together already? 

Wow! That was quick.

I turned and noticed Josh was looking at me.

'What?' I asked. He just smiled and shook his head. He tried to take my hand like the way Damon has with Emily but I pulled my hand away. I stopped. Josh stopped too, But Emily and Damon carried on. Not even realising we had stopped.

'Stop trying to get close to me Josh' I snapped. He looked at me and shook his head.

'Well, sorry for being nice' He snapped back as he put his hands in his pockets and stormed off down the drive to catch up with Emily and Damon, who were already at the car. He opened the back door, climbed in and slammed it shut again. Emily looked up at me as if to  say, What the f**k had happened now. I just shook my head and ran over to the car. I got in next to Josh and turned so I couldnt see him at all and just stared out the window.

My phone started to buzz in my pocket. I took it out. it was from Emily. I flipped it open;

'Hey what the hell happened between you and Josh?, He was happy before?'

I text her back.

'Nothing, he tried to hold my hand is all. So whats happening?'

'Double date. Damon's taking us some where I dont know where. So...why didn't you hold his hand. You too seemed more than happy on the beach' she asked. I text her back an put my phone away.

'So?! Doesn't mean he can hold my hand and kiss me does it?.'

After I sent the message. Emily didn't reply but after a couple of minutes, my phone buzzed. Ok, what has she got to say this time?

'It's rude to text about some one whos next to you. tut tut. Jx'

It was from Josh. I turned to look at him, he was staring out of the window but I could see the smile on his face from the glass. I turned away and stared out of my window, watching the heavy rainfall down. My phone went again.

'I'm sorry if i make you hate me x' 

Awww..he thinks I hate him. I dont. I really dont.

'I dont hate you' I whispered, but only loud enough for Josh to hear. He turned to face me.

'You dont?' he asked, I shook my head.

'Dont be stupid. I do like you but nothings gonna happen. At least not yet.' I told him. He seemed to like the 'just yet' part. I put my hand out to him. He looked at me for a moment before he took my hand. The rest of the car ride went quickly.

We pulled up in the beach carpark. Damon turned the car off. All you could hear was the loud sounds of the rain on the car.

'We were gonna go for a walk on the beach but we can't.' Damon said looking sad.

'Sure we can, Rain is romantic' I burst out. Every one looked at me.

'Really how?' Damon asked with a smile.

'Well, you get all wet and cold and...I dont know, for some reason, I have always found it a turn on' I admitted. Josh quickly go his seat belt off and grabbed the door handle.

'Come on Damon.' he shouted, patting his shoulder as he practically jumped from the car. We all looked at each other and laughed as we got out. It was so heavy and wet and cold. Emily and Damon walked a head of me and Josh. I was holding his hand still. 

The rain started to get heavier and it started to get colder. I forgot to bring a jacket with me. Josh pulled on my hand, telling me to stop and pulled me back. Emily and Damon kept going through.

'You cold?' he asked looking at me.

'I'm f*****g freezing' I told him. He smiled and took his leather jacket off an passed it to me. I smiled at him. 'Here' he said. I put it on. It was nice and warm.

'Thanks.' I told him. He smiled.

'No problem' he looked into my eyes and suddenly I had the feeling of just wanting to kiss him right here, right now, hard on the lips. What the hell..she cheated on him.

I leaned forward and placed my hand on his face. He covered mine with his hand and leaned down. Our lips met, I could hear nothing but the sounds of my heart beating 100 miles an hour and the sound of the rain as it hit the sea. I was in heaven and all the problems about him being married just seemed to disappear............
