Chapter Five

Lisa's P.O.V

After Emily and Katie had explained it all to me, they went and picked Emily out a room as she will be living with us for the next few months. After that, Katie and Em decided to go down the pier and beach for the day. It's nice she had decided to go out and look around, this is her new home town after all.

'Mom, we're going down the beach, Do you Wanna come?' she asked smiling at me but I just shook my head.

'Sorry, girls I have to go shopping, Oh and Katie?....'

'Yeah, whats up?'

'I found a job today, but I need to start tonight, Do you mind if I go, my shift starts at 10 and finished at 3. Is that ok' She smiled and nodded her head

'Yeah, that's fine. Cool, you found a job where?' she asked.

'Oh, just some bar down the pier. So, do you want a lift?' Katie and Emily nodded at the same time. I grabbed my keys off the side in the kitchen and headed out to the car.

'Be out in a minute mom' She called to me. I held up her hand, saying ok and got in the car. 

I was waiting for what seemed like forever. When finally, the girls came out of the house, Emily dived in the back with the bag and Katie got up front with me. I started up the car and drove down to town to drop them off. I pulled up out side Star bucks.

'Ok, girls have fun. I'll meet you here at 7 OK?. Dont be late. You will have to put up with take out tonight ok?. I'll buy some snacks and pop for you too' they both nodded. We said our good byes to each other before they heading down to the pier. I sat there in the car having a fight with my own mind, Shall I call him or not? I decided to, I took my phone out of my pocket and dialled his number.

'Hello, You got Richie' Aww he sounded so cute on the phone.

'Ummm, Hi Richie, Its Lisa, the person who got the j-' I didn't even get to finish the sentence before he cut me off.

'Oh, Lisa. Hi. Whats up?'

'Well, my sister's daughter just got in to town and so she had stuff to do, I  was wondering if I can still work tonight?' I asked, a bit unsure incase he said no, but he didn't.

'Yeah, sure, Are you free now? I can help you train for tonight, Friday is the biggest night of the week.' He offered.

'Ah, shoot, Sorry, but I have a few things to do today you know shopping and stuff.' I told him. there was a pause on the other end.

'Oh, Do you mind if I come with you then, no one else is around, Steve is busy for tonight, and my other friends have just run out the door to flirt with some girls, you know, typical men'. He laughed. 

'Yeah sure, where shall I meet you?'

'Ummm, by the super market'

'Sure, see you soon' I said, we said goodbye and hung up the phone and drove off. 4 minutes later, I arrived at the super market and met Richie. We did some shopping and some other stuff before we headed back to mine. He said he would help unpack.

As I opened the door and walked in, Richie followed, I headed over to the almost unpacking the front room and stared with the boxes. Richie put the shopping in the kitchen and came and helped me. After about 3 hours, We cashed out on the sofa's, tired.

'Well, that was fun' Richie said after a while of silence.

'Oh, yeah' I said in a stupid tone.

'So do you want a lift to work tonight?' He offered.

'Awww. That would be sweet, Thanks.'

Then with out any warning, he leaned over and kissed me hard and deep on the lips, after what seemed like forever, He pulled away. I was about to say some thing, When I looked up and saw the clock, seeing the time, s**t I was late for picking up the girls.

'I've got to go. Let yourself out ok? See you later' I said quickly, I kissed Richie again and he kissed me back and I ran out the door, to my car and drove down to the beach to pick them up.

When I got there, they weren't there yet. Humm, Emily left the bag in the back seats. I wonder how they did any thing then? Just then, my phone went off in my pocket, It was Richie.

'Yes, Richie?' I asked

'Hey, I just left your place, Listen, I spoke to Steve, He said you dont have to start work till some one can train you, I can do it tomorrow night, so, since your free tonight... I was wondering, do you wanna have dinner?' Awww he sounded a little nervous on the phone.

'Yeah, I would love to' Just then I saw Emily and Katie coming toward me, With huge smiles. They got to the doors,

'Go to go, See you tonight, Ok?'

'Ok see you soon' And with that, he hung up. I put my phone away just as they go in the car.

'So good day,' I asked Katie. She just smiled and sighed.

'The best' she answered. Yeah me too kid. I said in my head as I stepped on the gas and headed home.
