Chapter Six

When we got home, I went straight up to my bed room, mom went to her to get ready for her first night of work and Emily just went and sat in the front room and watched Scuzz TV. I could hear she was listening to My Chemical Romance. I laid down on my bed, thinking about what had happened today. I remembered the words he whispered in my ear before me and Emily had to leave to meet my mom.

'Can I see you again?' he asked me. I smiled, remembering the moment. I breathed in a deep breath and let out a heavy sigh, just as my mom walked into my room. I sat up to look at her.

'Wow! Mom, you look kick ass!' I told her. She just smiled at me. She was wearing a red, strapless dress, with matching wedge heels and a big black belt around her waist. Her make up was made up to match her outfit. It was made up of black eyeliner and eye shadow and deep red lip stick.

'Thanks babe' she said as she started putting her ear rings on.

'A llitle bit too sexy for a bar, isn't it?' I asked, she just smiled and shook her head.

'Well, you should see my new boss, He is beyond sexy' We both laughed.

'Wow, getting back on the dating horse so soon? What does he look like?' I asked. She ran her fingers through her lovely straightened shoulder length hair.

'There is no dating horse'. She told me with a cheeky grin before she left the room and headed down stairs. I followed her, and Emily followed me.

'So, are you sure you're ok with a take away?' She asked AGAIN!.

'Yes mom, um..but how are you getting to work. You cant drive in those things?' I asked nodding at her shoes, she followed my gaze down wards and smile.

'Oh, yeah, well...Some guy I work with offered to pick me up' she explained quickly. Just then, a car honked out side. 'See you, don't trash the house girls' she shouted as she grabbed her keys and hand bag and ran out the door. A couple of moments later we heard the car drive away.

'So, what do you wanna eat then cuz.' Em asked, but I shook my head.

'I'm not hungry, order what ever, I'm going to have a shower. Ok, just put my dinner in the fridge.' I told her as I threw the phone at her and walked back upstairs to my bed room.

I grabbed some clothes and walked into the bath room. I got undressed, turned the shower on and climbed in.

When I got out, I got dressed in to my cosy PJs. I picked all the clothes off my bath room floor and dumped them in my hamper before going over to my bed and lying down on it. I closed my eyes and let the darkness take over, pulling me into a deep sleep, dreaming about Josh and today's events.

I woke up in my pitch black bed room. What time was it? I got out of bed and headed over to the light switch. I was about to grab my phone so I could use it to see where I was going, as I stumbled my way across my room. But I remembered that I left it in my pocket in the jacket I threw in the hamper before.

After I flipped the light on, I ran over to the hamper and grabbed my jacket. I dug through the pocket to get my phone. Only to feel some thing sharp against my hand. I walked over to my bed and tipped the pockets content out on the sheets. I was only a small piece of paper.

I opened it and read what it said,

'

Hey, text or phone when you get this, so I have your number, had a great day today.

Josh x

And under neath it was a number. I smiled. When did he even have time to write this? Shrugging, I text him.

'Hey Josh, this is my number. Oh, and I had a great day as well. X'

I sent the message and put my phone on the table next to my bed.

My stomach started rumbling so I decided to go down and get some thing to eat. I snuck out of my bed room door, closing it quietly behind me. I could hear my mom in her room with some one, They were talking. 

Not on the dating horse huh? 

As I headed for the stairs, I heard Emily sleeping in her room. I headed down to the kitchen and straight to the fridge. I grabbed my dinner, Em had decided to order pizza. It's always better cold than hot. I shut the fridge door and walked over to the side to get a Pepsi, well, I guess its called soda over here. After I had finished eating, I realised, I didn't even know how late it was. I looked at the clock on the wall and was surprised to see that it was past 4 o'clock in the morning. I guess I should go back to bed. As I walked down the hallway to my room... my mom was a sleep and I knew she defiantly had company because I could hear snoring and my mom doesn't snore.

I walked back into my room, closing the door behind me. I jumped into bed under the covers again and was about to fall asleep when I noticed my phone flashing, telling me I had a message. I flipped my phone open to see who was texting me at this hour. It was from Josh.

'Hey, little miss, isn't it past your bed time? Xx'

I smiled as I read the message and replied.

'Yeah, it Is but im being naughty by staying up. Im not bothering any one, well, except you. Mom and some one is in her room sleeping, she started work at some bar tonight, while Emily is being a very good girl and is fast a sleep in bed xx'

I didn't even have to wait a minute before I got a reply.

'Well, I like naughty girls ;) Damon will be gutted, he likes them too but if Emily is being good...well. No, don't be stupid, you're not bothering me. I know how you feel. Dee is asleep too, and all my other friends have vanished. I think one is on a date. It's sweet. He seems to really like her. Ha, I know how he feels xxxx'

Oh great, he has a girl friend. I smiled though and replied.

'Awww....poor loner Josh. Ha, but then again, I'm a loner too xx'

'Awww..well, while were talking, Do you want to meet up'

'What? Josh, it's like 4.30 in the morning, are you nuts??'

'No, just bored. Please? xx'

'Ok, where and when'

'Star bucks in town in about 30 minutes'

'Ok, see you then xxx'

'see you then xxx'

I can't believe I'm doing this! 

I jumped out of bed and ran over to my closet. I pulled on a pair of black skinny jeans, an a7x top, my vengeance hoddie and my red and black knee high chucks, before quickly adding some eyel iner and ran quickly from my room, down the stairs and out the front door.

I closed it softly. I ran down the giant front garden and used the normal gate to get out. I headed down the road as quickly as possible and towards town to meet Josh...............
