Chapter 8 thank goddess no drama

Isaiah’s P.O.V

  I had been nervous all day and now that tonight was finally here I was even more nervous. I mean I had no idea if she had a boyfriend or not, s**t, what if she was married? No, I didn’t see a wedding ring, but I still needed to go back to the club and find out. I knew that Gabrielle had been wanting to go and see the club that everyone has been talking about, but I’m not a fool and I know that the only reason she wanted to go was to see the woman I call my mate. I didn’t mind that at all, especially as her mate Terry was coming along, so he would be keeping her busy and distracted from me and then I could make my move. I had decided to wear a pair of dark faded blue jeans with a white t-shirt and then decided to keep my hair down, but when I looked in the mirror I changed my mind and put it in a flat ponytail as it would only get in the way. I decided not to wear a jacket tonight as I was already nervously sweating and didn’t want to make it worse. 

  “Hey man, aren’t you ready yet, we've been waiting for a few hours.” My nephew Joseph said, mind-linking me and I just chuckled because I knew that was bullshit.

  “Whatever man, I’m coming now.” I replied, mind-linking him back as I grabbed my watch and wallet, then headed downstairs. Gabrielle was standing there with her mate Terry and he was wearing ripped jeans and a black t-shirt and he had short dark hair, but he had told me a while ago that he wanted to start growing it long and it did look a little longer compared to before.

  “Alright guys, let's head out.” I said, but went to my dad's office first. I knocked on the door as I opened it and popped my head around to see him sitting at his desk.

  “Hey dad, do you need anything before I head out?” I asked, but he shook his head.

  “Nope, I’ll be heading out tonight with Hawk, Spike and Axel tonight, we’re going after another collection, so don’t worry.” Dad replied and I nodded, closing the door behind me. We all headed out of the pack house and to the club, but we got there in no time at all with how Joseph was driving. I swear to the Moon Goddess that kid had scared me shitless after that. I was nervous as hell when I walked back into that club, but I already knew my mate was there because I could smell her scent and it was fresh.

  “Well, here goes nothing.” I muttered to myself as I walked to the bar.

  “Well hello there, I’m glad you came back. Do you want the same beer or something different?” She asked, smiling as she walked over to me. s**t, I had to think of something fast, I couldn’t beat around the bush. She was my mate and I wanted her. f**k it.

  “How about something different, how about a date with me tomorrow night, say around about eightish?” I asked, almost immediately regretting it, but then she smiled and blushed at me.

  “You know I was wondering when you were going to ask me out after the last time when you intentionally avoided me.” She said and grabbed a napkin. She wrote something down on it and then placed it in my hand, causing sparks to ignite under my skin from where our hands touched.

  “That’s my address, I hope you will be able to find it as it’s in the middle of the woods.” She said and I looked at the writing. Her handwriting is so beautiful. I nodded and smiled at her, knowing exactly where this house was because it was only ten minutes away from the pack territory.

  “I’m sure I won’t have any problem at all finding the place, you want to take a break and come dance with me?” I asked and she smirked at me.

  “Well since I own this place I can pretty much do anything I want.” She said, coming from behind the bar. 

  Mercury’s P.O.V

  The guy we were after only owed me thirty grand, so this was going to be a pretty easy collection, but I took Spike, Hawk, William and Axel with me just in case. I had Hawk and Spike go around the back, while William and Axel were with me. We all heard the heavy metal music that was blaring and damn the music wasn’t half bad, I thought to myself, but we came here to do business, not visit. I walked up to the front door and gave it a good kick, kicking it open, but what I saw made my mouth drop open in shock. He had three women chained up like dogs and guys standing in front of them. Seeing this angered me and I flew off the deep end as I walked inside and grabbed the one I was after by the neck.

  “IS THIS WHAT MY f*****g MONEY PAID FOR, A f*****g PORNO?!!!! YOU SICK MOTHERFUCKER!! WHERE IS MY f*****g MONEY, GERNO?!!!” I shouted at him and the guy was scared shitless.

  “I-I-I-I….I-I-I-I have your….money….Mercury, please….let….let me...go…” Gerno pleaded and I heard the women scream with fear. Axel and William unchained the women and helped them up so they could get dressed and leave. The three other men that were in the room tried running and although two made it outside I knew they wouldn’t get very far as Hawk and Spike would stop them. Axel and William had one of the men by the throat, but he just stood frozen in fear.

  “So Gerno, where is my f*****g money, man?” I asked for a second time and he was starting to piss me off even more.

  “I have it, I have it, just please let me go and I’ll go get it.” Gerno replied, so I let him go, but followed him. I wasn’t going to take any chances with this guy and I wasn’t playing games either. I followed him into a bedroom, where a woman was lying naked in the bed, making me cringe and roll my eyes.

  “Dude, just give me my money already, so that I can leave and you can go back to your male f****d up friends.” I said and Gerno quickly nodded as he went to the closet, but when he opened the doors the money wasn’t in there. I saw that he had a gun and quickly ran at him, knocking the gun out of his shaking hands and grabbing him by the throat once more.

  “MOTHERFUCKER I TOLD YOU I WASN’T PLAYING GAMES!! I WANT MY f*****g MONEY, NOW WHERE IS IT?!!!” I shouted again and this time Gerno pointed at the bed where the woman was lying.

  “YOU, MOVE!!!” Gerno shouted, getting the girl off the bed, but the way he said it made me wonder what he was up to. I tossed the mattress off the bed and found my money, plus fifty grand more. 

  “So you’re hiding s**t from me now?” I said, but before I knew what was happening the naked woman jumped on my back and grabbed a handful of my hair as she tried to scratch my face and neck. I managed to toss her off me, but she hit the wall hard, breaking her neck in the process. She slid down the wall with a thud as Gerno tried to run past me to escape.

  “YOU SON OF A b***h!!!” I shouted, grabbing Gerno by the throat and punched a hole through his chest, ripping his heart out. I let go of his body and tossed his heart to the ground, then grabbed the money and put it in the bag. I looked at the woman and Gerno, then set the room on fire and walked out.

  “Come on, let's get out of here.” I said, throwing gas on the floor and setting it alight. We all hurried outside to where William was looking down at the bodies of the three dead men from earlier. He picked them up off the ground and tossed them back inside the burning building, setting them on fire as well. We all got back into the SUV and sped off fast.

  “Well, that was fun.” William sarcastically said, smirking.
