Chapter 9 going back to the club

Ava’s P.O.V
He had only come in one night and I had only spoken to him briefly, but there was something about him that made me want to see him again. I had felt his eyes on me all that night and knew that he was watching me, but when I saw him leave with that other girl I felt myself getting pissed off. I had been wondering if he would come in tonight and I was glad when he did, but I was even more glad to see that the girl he left with before was with some other guy tonight. I was all smiles when he walked over to the bar and asked me out. Hell, I didn’t even know his name, but I felt drawn to him and damn he smelled so good. When he asked me to dance I was like hell yeah, wanting to see what moves he had and boy let me tell you what he had was even sexier when he danced. The way he moved around my body, damn...nevermind, I thought, as my mind started to wonder. I still needed to know what his name was, so I waited until the song had finished playing before asking him.
“By the way, I don’t even know your name.” I said and watched as he smirked.
“The name is Isaiah, what’s yours? Tell me about yourself.” Isaiah replied and then I did my own little smirk.
“The name is Ava and as you now know I own this club. I started working here at first, but when the owner, who is a wonderful man, said he wanted to retire I told him I would take over for him and give him payments. Next week will be the last p*****t and then I will fully be the owner.” I replied and he nodded.
“Wow, that's cool. So what do you fancy doing or going tomorrow night?” Isaiah asked and I shrugged.
“Well the only places I ever get to go are here, home and the grocery store, so do you have any ideas?” I asked, thinking of how predictable my life suddenly was. Isaiah was quiet for a little while, but then his whole face lit up.
“I have the perfect idea. You just dress nice and leave everything else to me.” Isaiah said, making me smile. I had no idea why but I trusted him.
“Oh I like it when a man takes charge.” I said, making both of us laugh.
Gabrielle’s P.O.V
I was watching my brother from across the club and I was so happy that he had met his mate. I really thought he would fall flat on his face, but to my surprise he didn’t. My mate Terry took me on the dancefloor and we danced to a few songs, having a blast, but I really felt like I needed to meet this girl. I knew Terry could feel how on edge I was and he knew how much I wanted to meet her, which made him sigh.
“Alright Gabby, I’ll take you over there to meet her because I know that we’re not going to have any fun until you do.” Terry said, taking my hand and leading me over to where Isaiah was. I felt a little guilty about being distracted while we were out, but he knew what I was like when it came to my family, especially my twin.
“Hey Isaiah.” I said, coming up behind him and making him jump. It made me smile to know I could scare him a little, especially after all the times he had scared me.
“Damn, I finally got you back, one down only a million more to go.” I said, laughing and he shook his head.
“Ava, this is my bratty twin sister, Gabrielle and her….boyfriend Terry.” Isaiah said, quickly correcting what he was going to say from mate to boyfriend.
“Well Gabrielle, it's a pleasure to meet you and you too Terry.” Ava said, smiling at me.
“It's a pleasure to meet you too. So, have you asked her out yet, you’ve been talking about her non stop?” I asked, making my brother blush a deep shade of red.
“Will you shut the f**k up already.” Isaiah said, mind-linking me as he held his head down.
“Nope, this is your mate and I want her to know what she’s getting herself into.” I replied, mind-linking him back. Isaiah grunted and sighed, then looked up at Ava.
“Excuse me, Ava, I’ll be right back.” Isaiah said, smiling at her, but then he grabbed my elbow and dragged me across the dancefloor to the other side of the club.
“What the hell are you doing?” Isaiah asked, annoyed, but I just smirked.
“Embarrassing you big brother, just like you did to me when you found out Terry and I were mates, remember?” I replied and he rolled his eyes. Isaiah quickly turned around, shaking his head as he walked back over to Ava with me hot on his heels.
Isaiah’s P.O.V
“Ava, I’m heading out, my sister needs her bottle and her diaper changing.” I said and Gabrielle immediately slapped my arm, making Ava laugh.
“Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow night, don’t be late.” Ava replied and I nodded.
“Oh I won’t.” I said and kissed her cheek.
“I won’t be late, how can I when you have such a beautiful smile.” I whispered, making her smile and blush, then she kissed my cheek back, making me smile. I left the club with Gabby and Terry and went home, but the whole way back I couldn’t stop smiling. Even though my sister had been a pain in my ass, I knew she meant well and I wasn’t even mad. When I got home I went straight up to my room and took the napkin out of my pocket, looking at it. Ava had not only given me her address, but she had also given me her phone number as well. I took out my phone and added her number to my contacts, then texted her straight away.
Me: Hey Ava, it’s Isaiah. I had fun tonight and can’t wait for tomorrow night too.
I typed and then sent it, but I didn’t expect her to reply straight away as I knew that she would have to clean the club, cash up and everything else when the club closed.
Typing….typing….typing….
Ava: Hey, I had a blast tonight as well, can’t wait for our date tomorrow night too. Heading home now, I’ll text you when I get there.
Me: Okay, drive safe.
I laid my phone down on the nightstand and stripped out of my clothes, leaving me in only my boxers and got into bed.
“Hey Isaiah, I was wondering if you could come to the training area in the morning, maybe let us know how we’re doing. Krystal will be shifting next week, so we need to build up her strength and endurance.” Polly said, mind-linking me just as I turned the TV on.
“Yeah of course, no problem. See you tomorrow morning.” I replied, mind-linking her back.
“Thanks Isaiah.” polly said and then ended the link. I started to relax and set my alarm on my phone, but when I saw the time I realised how little sleep I was going to get. I would only get three hours sleep, but I knew they needed me out there tomorrow, so I turned the TV off. I rolled over to go to sleep when my phone suddenly went off, so I rolled back over and picked it up to see I had a message from Ava.
Ava: Hey, just letting you know I’m home, goodnight, see you tomorrow.
Me: Hey Ava, glad you made it home safe, night, see you tomorrow.
I smiled when I read her message and messaged her back, then put my phone back down on the nightstand. Tonight had been one hell of a night and I had enjoyed all of it, I thought as I rolled back over and closed my eyes to go to sleep.
