Wanted By My Fiance's Brother

CHAPTER 4

Sasha rolled her eyes after Elijah quickly dressed up and left, banging the door behind him. Elijah knew for a fact that staying there and talking to Sasha would only make things worse. He wanted to find Natalie, talk to her and hopefully, she was going to understand that he didn't mean to cheat, Sasha dragged him and forced him to do it. He still loved her and nothing had changed.

Sasha was not bothered by Elijah’s reaction this morning. She had expected it. He was acting up, blaming it on her yet he was the one who fell for her trap. She was just doing her part. She also deserves happiness. Natalie cannot be the one who finds her love and not her. She had been eyeing Elijah for way too long and it really broke her heart to see the man of her dreams propose to another woman. That night she cried herself to sleep as Natalie celebrated her engagement.

After that, she promised herself that she was not going to sit and allow this to happen. She was going to ensure that Elijah becomes her boyfriend. She only had a day to make it work and her plan worked. Elijah fell for her trap.

Initially, she was a genuine friend to Natalie but the rain started beating them when Natalie started going out with Elijah, the man that she could not stop thinking about. She was hurt, she tried her best to be at peace with that fact but that did not happen. The more days went by, the more jealous she got.

Sasha didn't want to believe that she was evil for sleeping with Elijah, she is just a girl crazy in love and hopefully Elijah would love her back. She was not going to stop trying to be with him until he finally declared his love for her.

Knowing Natalie, cheating has always been a deal-breaker to her. She was not going to condone it. Their relationship will not last. It's her time to reign.

Elijah walked briskly out of the hostel. He felt that his world had literally stopped.What did he get himself into? What was he thinking?

Will he ever forgive himself ? It's such a shame that his actions might make him lose Natalie completely. How gullible was he, to get drugged.How can he explain everything to Natalie in order to earn her forgiveness yet he barely remembers what exactly happened?

Elijah went round different hostels where Natalie could have spent the night to try and explain himself but he was not able to find her. Where could she be? She deserves to know the truth that he did not want to cheat on her, that thought alone had never crossed his mind. Sasha made him do it and he regrets every second of it.

When Elijah saw Hilder, he sighed in relief. Maybe she might know the whereabouts of Natalie since she is also friends with her.Natalie has so many friends because of her bubbly personality. She is a good girl and he knew that if he lost her, then there is no one who would take her place. He was going to fight for her no matter what.

“ Hilder,” Elijah called loud enough for her to hear.

Hilder turned and seeing him, she shook her head in disapproval. She couldn't help but think, hasn't he done enough? What else does he want?

Immediately Hilder recalled Natalie's reaction last night when she walked away leaving her in a web of confusion. She could see the horror in her eyes, the faintness in the tone of her voice. Her world had literally come to a standstill because of the trust that he had kept on him.

Natalie believed in true love, deep love and what she saw was going to change her world view completely.

Hilder couldn't help but think to herself, did she do the right thing, telling her the truth?

She is so worried about her because she couldn't find her. She had also been looking for her everywhere but she was nowhere to be found. Where could she be? It's not like she had a home to run back to. She was all alone.

Hilder was also friends with Sasha but at this point, she didn't know if she could trust her.

Her view had changed from Sasha going after the desires of her heart to Sasha intentionally hurting Natalie. It was such a shame that she also used her in her mission.

Hilder knew that is also to blame for what happened but she had expected Sasha to act like a sister to Natalie because that is how she regarded her, but it turns out that it was all one-sided. It's crystal clear that Sasha doesn't care for anyone else except herself.

“ What do you want? Haven't you done enough?” Hilder turned to Elijah.

Elijah was relieved to see her. He hoped that she knew where Natalie was because she really wanted to have a moment with her and apologise for delivering such horrible news.

“ I am looking for Natalie, have you seen her?” Elijah asked in desperation.

“ You are a piece of s**t! You know that, right? What more harm do you want to cause her, huh? Haven't you done enough? She knows that you cheated. She saw you make love to her best friend,” Hilder told him and Elijah felt like his heart had been ripped out of his chest. The pain he felt was so excruciating. The worst that he didn't want to happen, had happened.

“ No, that's not true. I didn't mean to hurt her. Sasha dragged me,” Elijah tried to explain himself to her but Hilder was not having it.

“ If I were you, I would just go home and leave Natalie alone. Besides, she needs space from you. Seeing you will remind her of the pain she felt last night when you betrayed her trust,” Hilder said before walking away.

Even though this is not what he wanted to happen, Elijah knew that Hilder was right. Knowing Natalie, she needed time to process what had happened.

Maybe it's wise that he should go home and hopefully he would get that chance to talk to Natalie once she had calmed down.

Heck, he had forgotten about his brother. He is at home by now. s**t! How could he forget to welcome him? He needed to rush home and give his brother Jeremy a proper welcome.

Natalie woke up and smiled when she found herself lying in his chest. She looked up to kiss him, all this while he was thinking that he was with Elijah when it hit her that she was actually with his elder brother, Jeremy.

Immediately, all the memories of last night how she ended up here played out in her mind making her lose her mind over again.

She quickly pulled away from Jeremy who had held her tightly but he was not ready to let her go.

“ Solange, what do you think you are doing?” Jeremy asked after waking up and kissing her.

“ I have to go,” Natalie said in a hurry. This could be a mistake.

“ Not so fast, you promised me another round. I still want to be with you.” Jeremy said, touching her softly and she couldn't get herself to leave. She lost herself under his touch. The sweet chills that she got under his touch were too pleasurable to ignore.
