I
woke up early in the morning the next day, feeling refreshed. I bounced up to
go to my bathroom and started to shower and brush my teeth. Afterwards, I wore
my OOTD, smiling I went down and saw them sipping on their coffee.
Lumapit
ako nang may ngiti sabay halik sa kanilang mga pisngi. Kuya was just watching
me while he sips his coffee, so I went to him and kissed his cheeks too.
“Good
morning, Kuya, mom and dad, Morning everyone!” I greeted them.
“Saya
mo ngayon ah?” pansin naman ni Kuya Cristoff. I just shrugged my shoulder.
“I
just feel good today!” I scanned the faces I see but I am missing one.
“Where’s
Tristan?” kahit papaano, kaibigan ko pa din siya kaya nakapagtatakang wala
siya rito.
“I
think he left last night.” Kuya Matt said. I just nodded saka ngumiti ako
habang umupo sa gitna nila Janelle and Ate Therese.
“Want
some coffee?” tanong ni Janelle.
“Hmm,
please!” I said with a smile.
“Mukha
ngang masaya ka. Anong nakain mo?” I just smiled at her. Napailing nalang siya.
“May
napapansin lang ako.” Dad said.
“May
problema ba kayo ni Tristan? Bakit nung nandito siya ang sama ng timpla ng
mukha mo? Ngayon, ang saya saya mo.” Nawala yung ngiti sa ma labi ko. I sat up
straight.
“Love
naman, that’s none of your business. Sa kanila nalang yun. Just be happy masaya
pa din anak mo.” Mom interfered.
“Anything
about her is my business.” Dad retorted. Mom just sighed and rolled her eyes.
Napatawa
nalang kami kasi minsan lang maging Alpha itong si Dad. Pero Kuya did the
talking instead of me.
“Maging
masaya ka nalang dad na wala siya dito. I don’t like seeing him kasi I feel
something is not right sa kanilang dalawa.”
“Oh
my God, Overprotective Kuya alert!!” sambit naman ni Ate Therese.
“I
did that to you too.” He blatantly said. Napaubo naman si Kuya Andrew while he
was almost sipping his coffee.
“Hey
bro. Magkasundo na tayo diba?” Tumawa naman ako kay Kuya.
“I
like someone for her, better and mature.” Kuya Matt said, Mom coughed a bit.
Did she know too?
“Parang
kilala ko na kung sino yan.” Kuya Cristoff said
Namumula
na ang mukha ko sa hiya kasi nag uusap sila kahit andito ako sa harap nila.
Janelle gave me my coffee and I sipped to it.
“Oh,
well I’d like to know who he is.” Dad said.
Kumuha
naman si Mommy ng slice bread and put it in Dad’s mouth, nagsitawa kaming lahat
including the people who worl for us.
“Kumain
ka jan, tapos na henerasyon natin. Let the kids have theirs.” Ngumuya nalang si
Dad but he had a blank face staring at Mom.
Napailing
nalang ako then started eating na din. After breakfast, I went upstairs sa
room. We have plans of going for a swim before we leave tomorrow.
Nang
makapasok ako sa room ay agad kong kinuha ang phone ko na nakacharge then
opened it. Agad nagsipasok mga messages and notifications ko.
There
were 15 messages in total coming from Amber, Tristan and Miguel. Inuna kong
tignan yung kay Miguel, he greeted me Good morning saka sinabi saking papunta
na siya sa school ng kapatid niya for the meeting.
I
smiled kasi para nga kaming magjowa sa lagay namin, only hindi pa namin masabi
sa lahat. Then kay Tristan asking me if I have told my brother about our deal,
I replied to him that I didn’t but he knows who I like.
Then
I got Amber’s text telling me how shocked she was nang makita na kasama namin
si Miguel nung party and that he looked handsome that night. I rolled my eyes,
hay number 1 fan talaga siya ni Miguel.
Then
a call came to me and it was Tristan. I answered it but he didn’t speak first.
“Anong
kailangan mo, Tristan?”
“Is
that how you treat your boyfriend, Tiff? Wala man lang good morning?”
napabuntong hininga ako.
“You’re
not saying anything, what do you expect?”
“Paano
nalaman ng Kuya mo about satin, the deal we had?”
“I
don’t know. Ang alam ko may alam lang siya kung sino ang gusto ko. I have never
spoken to him about anything between us. Ni ang ipakilala ka di ko gustong
gawin. What more pa ang magsabi sa ginagawa mo. I know my Kuya, alam kong may
gagawin siya pag nalaman niya ang ginawa mo. Bakit sa tingin mo tayo pa din
hanggang ngayon without him interfering?”
“Well,
flashnews dahil pinagbantaan niya ako last night. That’s why I left. Siguro nga
din di mo ako hinanap, wala ka namang pakialam sakin eh.” A headache was
forming and I had to massage my head.
“Wala
kang alam to accuse me with that, ayan ka nanaman, accusing with no proof. I
don’t really want to talk with you about this. Goodbye!” at binaba ko ang
tawag. He still kept calling but I just let it be.
Napaisip
ako sa sinabi niya about Kuya Matt, kaya dali dali akong bumaba. Hinanap ko
siya and was told na nasa labas siya ng villa kasama nina Ate and the kids. I
went there and he was playing with his daughter. Lumapit ako at buti nalang
napansin niya ako kaagad.
“A
minute please?” he simply nodded and gave Princess to Ate Irish. He walked
towards another cottage and I followed him. Naupo kaming dalawa.
“What
do you want to talk about?” he started. Lumingon ako sa kanya and heaved a
sigh.
“What
happened between you and Tristan, Kuya?” he looked at me then back at the
beach.
“I
just gave him a warning.” He casually said.
“Do
you—“ napatigil ako nang magsalita din siya.
“Don’t
fool me, Tiff. Your actions are too obvious. If he was the one you like or
love, you should have been smiling nung nandito siya. But those smiles I can
only see when he’s not here or katabi mo ang taong gusto mo. I’ve witnessed you
grow, Tiff, kaya alam ko pag di ka masaya o kung masaya ka.
Nakita
mo ba sarili mo ngayon at kagabi? Did you see the difference? Kahit mga magulang
natin nakikita nila. So don’t try to hide it from me. There’s a reason why iba
ang pinakilala mo samin versus the one you really want to be with.”
Napayuko
ako, nangingilid ang mga luha. I thought hindi nila napapansin iyon. Akala ko
natatago ko nang maayos ang sekretong yun.
“I
am scared, Kuya. Alam mo namang di pa kami pwede kasi estudyante pa rin niya
ako. And I am scared na masira siya ng dahil sa kin. Tristan will obviously do
something like that. Wala akong ibang paraan na naisip.”
He
looked at me and grabbed my arm para mayakap niya ako. I instantly cried nung
nakulong na ako sa mga bisig ni Kuya.
“Don’t
worry, I am here. You do know I hate seeing you cry. Kuya can handle that for
you.” I hugged him so tight.
“How
Kuya, what will you do?” Humiwalay ako ng konti at tinignan siya.
“Ako
na bahala. I just want to see you happy.” I nodded then hugged him again.
“Ano
nanaman drama niyong magkapatid?” Narinig kong sabi ni Ate Irish nung papalapit
na siya.
“Time
of the month, hehe” I said saka humawalay na saka pinahid ang aking mga luha.
“Naku
naman talaga, spoiled ka ng Kuya mo.” Tatawa tawa niyang sabi.
“Yeah,
I feel so very special.” I said and kissed Kuya’s cheek.
“Balik
muna ako sa villa, I’m just gonna change and join you guys, I also wanna swim.”
Nagmadali
akong bumalik sa loob to change to my bikini. Susulitin ko na ang araw na to
since this will be our last day in Palawan. I wanted to soak in the water as
much as I can before I go back to the City and face reality.
Mas
magaan ang feeling ko ngayon dahil nabawasan ang aking alalahanin. I got my
phone and texted Miguel about what me and kuya had talked about. I feel it in
my heart that he approves of him so much kaya ganun nalang ito kasupporta sa
amin. I smiled at that thought.
