Will you go on a date with me?

-Genesis In no time I had my makeup done. It is getting easier with practice but it is still a pretty tricky job. The lipstick I chose is the only one that looks good on me. Lipsticks, actually. I had to combine a few colours until I found the right match. It is a combination of red, some sort of a brownish pink and pink. I know. Very weird combination. I had to use these lipsticks many times until it worked. This may be the first time I have spent so much time in front of the mirror. Even I have to admit that I look beautiful. Never before have I had so much makeup on my face. Well, I never needed it. I pump my curls one last time, grab my purse and coat from the edge of the bed and head outside. Ella must be downstairs waiting for me, so I rush, but still careful not to stumble down the stairs. "Genesis?" I hear Ella from behind me and I turn around to look. "Ella! I thought you would be downstairs." She tilted her head to one side and smiled. "You look beautiful," she clapped her hands together and came carefully toward me. "I am so glad you are okay, Genesis." "I believe you," I said without hesitation. "Thank you for giving me this opportunity to work for you again." "This time we will be working together. It is going to be a blast," she grinned and led me down the stairs. "There you are," Xander came out of nowhere from behind us and quickly and carefully took Ella in his arms. "Babe! I told you I can walk by myself," Ella complained but still rested her head on his shoulder. I admire these two. They have been through so much pain and they are still together and stronger than ever. And expecting a baby. "I don't care. I will carry you down and up the stairs everywhere you go." "I thought you only did that outside," she giggled and he kissed her on the head. "Genesis, I am sorry I didn't greet you," he said defensively. "Don't worry, Alpha. I can totally understand your concern for the Luna." "See? She understands," Xander pursed his lips. "Genesis, don't encourage him. He will just get worse. If you are so overprotective right now that the baby is still inside me, I don't even want to know how you will be when the baby is born. You will drive us all mad." I couldn't help but smile. We arrived at the big hallway downstairs where Wayne was waiting, for some reason. "Here are the keys, Mr Walson," he extended his hand and handed Xander the keys. "What is going on?" Ella asked the question for both of us. "I am driving you to work. Just today. From tomorrow you can have Wayne back. I promise," The Alpha said quickly as if trying to calm Ella down. "Why?" "Because I can." I am going to have fun listening to them fight like this every day. Wayne opened the door for us and Xander let me get out first. Outside, at the bottom of the stairs, Benjamin, Sabrina and Skye were waiting and the minute I saw him my heart started pounding painfully. "What are you guys doing here?" Ella asked enthusiastically. "I invited them. We can give them a tour together." "That is an amazing idea!" At that moment Ella looked at me and then at Ben and her smile faded. Skye had her arms wrapped around Ben and was kissing his neck repeatedly. I took a deep breath, trying to keep my tears at bay. Ignoring him I walked gracefully down the stairs and a strange feeling spread through my body. As if someone was trying to get under my skin. "Hi," I waved my hand at Skye and Sabrina. "Genesis you look gorgeous," Skye said and I felt guilty. Only if she knew that I had kissed and wrapped my legs around her fiancé, she wouldn't be saying that. She would have her hands around my throat. "Thank you, Skye," I managed a sincere smile and looked away. "I like your hair. I have never seen such beautiful curls. They look perfect," Sabrina said and stared blankly at my hair. This is my fairy part doing its deadly wonders. "I have a trick," I shrug and she furrowed her brows. "I am half fairy," I explained. "I can use magic. That's why they look flawless." "Wow. Could you help me with my hair?" Sabrina asked and I took a look at her straight blonde hair. It looked damaged. She doesn't take care of it. It is very sad considering she has such long beautiful hair. I waved my right hand and her hair turned into blonde waves. Waves look good on her. "Oh, my God! It looks wonderful. You are amazing," Sabrina said while admiring her hair. "Isn't she?" Ella came forward and wrapped her arm around mine. I felt embarrassed with all the attention I was getting. Most of the time I had the attention because I am a half-breed. But I was never admired. Not like this. Two cars appeared in front of us. The drivers climbed out and one of them gave the keys to Xander and the other one, to Benjamin. "Have a nice day, Alpha. Luna." They bowed and the one who gave Xander the keys looked at me and gasped. Oh f**k. He is going to swear and insult me. "Beautiful," he whispered. He is joking, right? "Will you go on a date with me?" He asked out of nowhere and my eyes almost came out of their sockets. "Keep it in your pants, Paul," Xander patted him on his shoulder and opened the door for Ella. "I am pretty sure you don't want to go on a date with me," I smiled uncomfortably. This has never happened before. Is he trying to embarrass me? "Of course I do. You are gorgeous. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen." From the corner of my eye, I saw Ben looking at us and it gave me an idea. "How about tomorrow night? You can pick me up after work," I gave him my sweetest smile and he melted. He took my right hand in his and planted a kiss on my knuckles. Benjamin was still looking at us and I could feel his anger and jealousy. You sleep with another woman and expect me to be fine with it. Let's see how you'll feel when Paul gets a treat out of me; I thought to myself and climbed in the car and Xander drove away.
