My Little Sunshine

On a fine Sunday morning, through the closed curtains, the first ray of sunshine was peeking into the room.

the room was small with no many decorations.

It had white walls which was in immediate need of repainting…the room consists of single bed near the window , a small closet in the wall and a small dressing table with attached bathroom.

In the bed isabella twisted and turned to wake up early…the birds were chirping happily outside her window which is her natural alarm.

just when she thought of sleeping in for 5 more minutes, a sudden thought crossed her mind..

she jolted awake in an instant and ran to her bathroom to get ready..

As today is Sunday, she have to go to chruch. Its her only safe heaven. Where she can be herself.

She would sing songs in the church. Since her mom had taught her to sing, whenever she sung a song, it makes her feel her mom's warmth. in the past, both the mom and daughter pair would usually sing together and play around in their cozy little home.

So she doesn’t miss this chance to sing in the Sunday morning prayers.

She came out of the bathroom dressed up which consists of a simple white t-shirt with floral bottom, with small flower designs here and there.

Soon she pulled out her long hair into a simple ponytail which reached her lower back in moderate curls.

soon she went to check on her dad. As usual he was awake.

She gave her dad a quick sponge bath with hot water . Then she hurried to the kitchen to make breakfast for her dad and herself. Since its Sunday her brother and sister in law would wake up late.

So she would prepare their breakfast when she returned from the Sunday morning prayer.

After feeding her dad and having her breakfast, she gave her dad his meds.

then she headed to the church.

The chruch was in their neighborhood, so it was only a 15 min walk to Bella. She reached the chruch and went to pray inside the wide and tall chruch halls.

When she finished praying, she went to the chorus group where she found the girls, she knows and spoke to them for a few minutes.

she went to the big black piano placed near the wall and sat quite comfortably.

Then she began to play her favorite tune.the melodious sweet tune waffled into the walls of the chruch, bringing a heavenly atmosphere to the few people inside the halls.

The sunlight came from the painted glass Windows of the chruch walls and it fall on Bella making a colorful halo around her.

People who saw her at that moment will believe that Bella was a heavenly fairy with her delicate movement of fingers and her elegant appearance.

Every person inside the prayer hall was enchanted by the sweet music, forgetting their worries and enjoyed the serenity the surrounding the prayer hall.

Unknown of the effect her music had on the other people, Bella forget all her stress and worries and was in her own little world while she enjoyed playing the piano.

She had a happy smile on her face, remembering her mom, who taught her how to play piano.

That’s the only reason Bella loved to play piano.it made her feel close to her mom, even though she is not present physically, Bella could feel her emotionally.

Whenever Bella played piano, she would feel a warm embrace surrounding her, like it was protecting her from all evils.of the world.

Bella felt that it was her mom's soul protecting and guarding her.

When Bella finished playing the piano, the once vacant prayer hall was filled with many people than before the start of her playing the piano.

Her piano music was like a beacon light to the lost sailor to reach his home.

Her music attract everyone and made them listen to it unconsciously.

When Bella stopped playing, everyone came out of their entranced mode and clapped their hands applauding Bella for her talent.

Hearing the sounds coming from around her, Bella came out of her own little world to the reality.

That’s when she noticed that she had finished playing the song and the people around are looking at her with appreciation in their eyes.

Bella was happy seeing the appreciation in their eyes. She felt that she had made her mom proud.

Facing the crowd of people, Bella saw the familiar faces of the church father and aunt Lily in the front line of the crowd.

Moving towards then, Bella greeted the chruch father first.

“Good morning father”.

“Gud morning my dear child.god bless you. How are you doing?”enquired the chruch father.

“ I’m fine father” Bella showed her happy smile which could convince everyone that she was happy but she was not happy at all.

But truth to be told, today she was really happy.

After playing the piano, she felt that her mom was near her. So she felt much more happy than other days.

“Then take care my child. May God bless you” the church father went to do his work after exchanging word with Lily who was standing near Bella.

When the church father went away from them, Lily engulfed Bella into a tight bear hug almost suffocating Bella.
