Chris was officially exhausted. He had to move around the whole hall to greet his guests and foreign investors.

Even though it’s tiresome, he still got some more new deals in that socializing party.

Kevin after confirming that he didn’t find Mr.Perkins near his big boss, again came to his big boss's side and accompanied him throughout the party.

Kevin admired his big boss's business skills.

Even in this celebration party, he managed to c***k and win over more business deals worth millions.

He used one deal's celebration party for winning more deals for the company.

‘he sure is the big boss. Only he can think about work, even when enjoying the party. He doesn’t leave a single chance to make more profits' thought Kevin.

'Big boss…you are great. You have my respect. I still need to learn more from you.' Kevin said to himself and vowed to learn more from his boss.

When Chris was going around the party hall to greet his guests, he again saw Mr.Perkins having a conversation with some investors at a distance.

He stopped in his tracks.

Now he know why his assistant ran away as if his tail was on fire.

He understood his assistant’s mindset after he spent an agonizing hour with Mr.Perkins himself.

Kevin too saw the old man from far away. He was on look out for Mr.Perkins so that he can avoid him.

He took a side glance at his big boss beside him and began to think of a way to get away from his boss when he would be accompanying Mr.Perkins.

Chris too noticed his assistant hesitating steps. He warned him sternly.

“Don’t even think about running away. Then I will personally make sure to lock you with him in a room to have a very long and deep heart felt discussion” .

saying this Chris casted a hard glare at his poor assistant...

Kevin, on the other hand was crying tears of blood in grievance.

'How dare he think about leaving me again. He is my assistant. He should help me in this situation.' Chris grumbled to himself on thinking about Kevin's escape plan.

Hearing the low threatening voice of his big boss, kevin cursed his fate quietly.

‘Oh god. He saw right through me. Now how can I escape. Help me god.. Please…..I will come to church regularly' cried Kevin internally.

Seeing the pained and pleading face of Kevin, Chris would have laugh out loud, if he wasn’t in the same condition as of his assistant.

He was amused by Kevin expression.

He really wanted to admire Mr.Perkins, who had successfully made Kevin afraid of him.

Because Kevin was not that easily shakened by anything or anyone. That’s why he was still his assistant for all these years.

To save themselves from self inflecting torture, Chris quickly changed his course of direction and went the other way, as far as he could get away from the prying eyes of Mr.perkins.

Kevin silently heaved a sigh of breath, he didn’t even know he held till now.

'Thank you boss…thank you….you are my savior…. I will be loyal to you for my whole life’. Kevin internally thanked Chris in his heart repeatedly.

When the party was over, he along with Kevin by his side, went to send off their guests. They both were equally exhausted.

Then they both went to the back lounge and met with the staffs and waiters worked at today’s celebration party.

“You have all worked hard. Thank you so much for making the party a great success." Chris sent a smile of gratitude towards his staffs. then he continued further...

"Everyone who worked today will get an extra bonus for your hard work today.

Don’t forget to eat the dinner arranged for you all by the management.

Sorry, the party dragged a little more than the allotted time.

So you have had to work with empty stomachs. Sorry for the inconveniences” Chris truly apologized and thanked his staff for their hard work and went out of the resort.

Everyone was happy and touched that they got to see their big boss and even more happy that they got extra pay for tonight.

Oliver was stunned for a few seconds. He can’t believe his eyes.

The big boss personally came down himself to meet his working staffs and apologized to them whole heartedly without any prestige issues.

He really admired Chris very much at that point.

His respect for Chris was doubled in his heart. He was happy that he came to this job today.

He got to enjoy a expensive feast for free. He got extra pay than he was told would be given to him.

And also got to know an amazing man in this egoistic business world.

Soon everyone had their dinner and went to their respective destinations happily.

Chris too gave some final instructions to Kevin and bid his farewell.

When Chris reached his villa, it was too late. He went straight to the stairs and headed upstairs.

He silently went upstairs, afraid that he would make loud sounds that might wake his mom.

Entering his room, he made a quick turn to his cloakroom to get his change of clothes and went to the bathroom in his room.

Quickly taking a hot shower, Chris came out of the bathroom, drying himself.

‘taking a hot shower after an exhausting day, is heaven’ thought Chris.

Changing into his night dress, he went to his bed to have a long sleep.

When his head touched the pillow, he was out like a light.
