The Girl Next Door

"It's so annoying! Why we can't go home together? We even stay in the same area... Well, anyway, he has no idea... " She told herself while being annoyed about the fact that they lived the same place but they cannot go home together.

She regrets that he hasn't told Kristian about it. But come to think of it, he stays near her so she can see him every day. He even always sits on the bench in front of their unit to write his novel. She's excited to read his novel.

And hopefully, it will be out soon so she can buy that new book. It also looks interesting. She getting more excited while thinking of the next book. She even saw the title of the book "My Romantic Girlfriend"... last time when they went on vacation. Wow! They went... As if they go together... She caught herself staring at the door like an i***t.

She can't forget Kristian's soft hands, smooth hands, and his perfumed all over his body. His cute smile and dimples that fits his face well. His handsome looks wearing his suit although she always sees him wearing a suit whenever he goes out.

He's like a guy-next-door type. (She keeps on staring at the door with her mouth open thinking about him.) She even almost forgot her door passcode. The good thing is she was able to unlock it on the second try if not then someone might think that she is a burglar.

She opened her door and immediately went in before Kristina found out that she is staying there. She immediately removes her stiletto and puts it into the shoe cabinet. She wore her super comfy pink slippers and went straight to her room. She took her pink towel and go to the toilet. Her slippers and towel are pink. Actually, most of her things are pink. She loves pink.

The only reason why she wears those goons attire is that she was stalking Kristian. But in her real world, she is really a girl. She loves wearing a skirt, leggings, blouses, and anything that the girls wear. She even wears those outfits when she and her friends go out. She felt relaxed when she turned on the shower and felt the warm water all over her body.

She even enjoyed singing while bathing. She always sings in the bathroom even her voice is not so good but she dances well. Yes, that's true, aside from stalking, she also knows how to dance well. But she doesn't join a contest. She was a cheerleader before when she was in her junior and senior high. She's the choreographer whenever they have an event at school.

After taking a bath, she put on her simple clothes and goes to the kitchen to drink some juice and then watch in the living room to relax a bit. Exactly after showering, Kristian arrived at the other unit. He immediately went inside the house and takes a shower too.

After showering he put on his pajama and white shirt then sit at the bedside. While he was sitting there he cannot help thinking of what happened at the wedding. He remembered seeing the stalker there who always follows him. He even saw her being spilled with juice as she bumped the waiter earlier.

He wants to help her but Kassandra talk to him that she will go to the toilet, so when he looked again the girl had disappeared. But he saw her face because her cap fell and he can't be wrong even she's wearing those big eyeglasses. She remembered her face well. She pretty and got a fair complexion.

She got dimples like him. She remembered Gwen while shaking hand with him, she likes uneasy. She looks like she knows him. She keeps on thinking of Gwen's face and the stalker. They look like having the same figure and hair. Her curly hair and the stalker's ponytailed hair looks the same.

"I knew it! She's my stalker!" he told himself as he realized that it was Gwen who is the stalker. On the other unit, Gwen suddenly got choked with the juice she was drinking and spilled the juice on the floor. It looks like someone remembered her. She got annoyed by whoever thinks of her. She took the rag and wipes the center table. She mopped the floor with the spilled juice.

"It's so annoying! Who's thinking of me?!" She angrily told herself while thinking of whoever thought of her. She knows that all her bills were paid off including the Internet connection and she doesn't owe anyone. She decided to go out and sit on the bench.

Upon opening the door she saw an image of a person on the bench sitting. The person is facing in front of her door. She has forgotten that Kristian might saw him, who also thought of sitting on the bench. Kristian was sleepy earlier but because he needs to finish his novel he needs to be awake. He also decided to go out.

When Gwen came out of the house, upon opening the door and noticing that it was Kristian she immediately closes the door where her foot almost got stuck at the door. She got shocked realizing Kristian was there sitting there so she didn't notice that she hadn't put her foot inside.

"Ouch!!! It hurts!!!" She shouted which caught Kristian's attention.

"You're Gwen right?" Kristian asked while he was shocked.

"So you also lived here?" He told Gwen again as she still couldn't believe whom she saw. His stalker and the girl at the wedding are living beside his apartment.

"Oh hi! Yup it's me, Gwen." She hyper said. She can't hide anymore. She felt ashamed. If not because of her getting stuck at the door then she won't get discovered.

"So, you live here?" Kristian asked again as he can't believe that someone is living beside his apartment.

"Yup, I moved here a few months ago..." She said while wanting to end the conversation faster as she felt shy. She can't understand herself as she can't believe she's already talking to the guy he was stalking.

"For real? I'm talking to Mr. Anonymous right now?!" She told herself while crazily smiling, as she can't believe that he was sitting next to her.

"Oh, I see. Sorry I didn't know that someone moved there already. And I also didn't know that it was you". Kristian said.

"Yes me too, I didn't know that you also live here. Are you Kristian right? You're Kassandra's friend introduced by her at the wedding right?" As she acts like she never knows Kristian well.

"Yeah, I'm Kristian. So, I guess you're too busy that's why I just saw you just now. I never saw you coming out of that door." He said while he didn't that he was the one who was so busy and Gwen know all his actions.

Gwen told him that she's not busy, maybe t just so happen that they never bumped at each other. Wherein it was a big lie because she planned everything. They had a conversation for quite a while until Gwen is unable to hide her real identity to Kristian. She's very talkative where she spills out the truth that she saw him at the book fair.

"Oh Yeah, I remember you! You're looking at me from the other table, right?!" She teased Kristian. They caught themselves laughing at each other. They both feel at ease with each other

"Oh really?! Am I the one who's looking or you are the one who's secretly looking at me?! Kristian teased back to Gwen.

"Of course not!, Why should I look at you? Do you think a pretty girl like me will look at a guy like you? Excuse me, Sir!" Gwen continuously denied as if she can still hide the truth. The place was filled with laughs.

"But seriously Gwen, Why are you following me? Can I help you with anything? Did I do something wrong?" Kristian seriously asked Gwen.

Gwen suddenly looks at Kristian seriously and said...

"Yes, You did something. You stole something... My heart" Then she laughs out loud but it was half meant. Kristian laughs with her and then they laugh together. Gwen explained how he met Kristian and how she started to stalk him.

Kristian felt awkward but he then laughed then he also reveal to her that he is a novel writer. Although Gwen already knows about it, because she has been following Kristian since the day he first met him, she just nods. It's late in the evening when they realized that it's almost midnight They both said goodbye to each other and they went inside their own apartment.
