Dante's pov It was lunch time and I was meet in with my friends Mike and Tony, we have been friends since I can remember. Our parents are friends and our families have been close for so long. They had called ahead of time because they are had tight schedules and didn't want to wait for long. The moment he walked in he noticed two ladies standing near the door. One had one too many buttons open on her blouse and her breasts were about to fall off. She had too much make up and it made her look like she was trying to hard. She was practically drooling at the three of us. I'm sure not even sure who she was drooling for the most, just one of us to notice her. Next to her was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She was about 5'5, skin so smooth and caramel looking. Her eyes were cast down but when she lifted her head and her eyes locked with mine, she had beautiful big brown eyes. One could get lost in them. I was pulled from my thoughts when a man came to direct us to our table. He introduce himself as the manager and led us to our table. I sat facing the rest of the restaurant. I chose the seat cause there was something about the brown girl that had me curious. "So Dante, why didn't you come to the party last week?" Mike asked. "I was busy with work." He groaned. " Man, you are always working. You know it's healthy to have some fun. Maybe have some s*x and stop been so grumpy." " Mike, not everyone is willing to sleep with anything with a hole. Let him be. He happens to enjoy his work. " Tony answered. If you can tell,Mike is the party freak and womanizer. I swear I wouldn't be shocked if one was to tell me he has slept with half the people in this city. He's a great guy, has a more relaxed or party approach on life. Tony on the other hand has been in a relationship for 3 years. I can't really see he is.like me but then I can honestly he enjoys working as much as I do. I tend towards Tony and answered his question "I decided to work the entire weekend and attend the party because my work comes first and the girls and strippers or something I was getting tired of." "Not everyone is a wh**e like you" I laughed at that. While the other two were busy arguing, I kept looking at the petite waitress with the perfect curves. The other waitress brought something to the table and I only realized because the other two questioned me for not noticing her. "Didn't you see the beautiful pair of boobs in front of you?" "Nope." " Have been staring at the other waitress the whole time you've been here" I happened to look up when he said that but the next thing I felt was a splash of something on me. It all happened so fast. One moment I had someone trying to clean and I could hear yelling. When I looked for the girl, she was gone. The manager came up to me, " I'm so sorry sir. That girl is so clumsy but not to worry, I've fired her." "You did what?" He looked scared for a bit. " I let her go." "Now why would you do that?" "I-I....I thought...." "For just spilling water on me?! Find her!" "Yes sir." He said in fear and left. "She actually looked scared when I tried to help her" Mike said. "What are you going to do mate" Tony asked. " I will find her. There is something about her." ??????????????? I've been looking for her for weeks now. I still can't find her. There is just something about her. "What is this I hear that you want to take an assistant? Haven't you always said it's a waste of time?" Mike budged into my office. " Ya I have but I'm hoping I can find her." "But what if you don't find her." " I will" The days seemed to go on and on but, it seemed like I couldn't find her. The day I was suppose to have the interviews was slowly approaching and I really hoped she had seen the post. The manager to the restaurant she was working at didn't offer much help. It was disappointing that people still run businesses without adequate information on their employees. I was so tired and irritated that from morning i had been interviewing people and since then no one seemed to catch my attention. Well, they weren't her. I was just about to give up when I heard a soft knock. Once i told the person knocking to come in, they did and I couldn't be happier. I knew that i couldn't go about smiling cause i would scare her. I opted for a smirk cause for some reason it looked cool in my mind. " have a sit, miss?" she sat down and handed me a folder. " Brown. Lisa Brown sir" I could hear her voice shake but she was trying to sound brave. I didnt say anything but just got the folder from her. I did a quick scan of the folder and put it down. I leaned back in my sit and looked straight at her. i could see her nervousness but confidence in every answer she gave. I knew there was something about her but I couldnt put my finger on it. After she left my office, I called the receptionist and instructed her to contact her in the morning. I sat back in my chair admiring the view outside as i thought of her.
