LEE'S POV

As soon as I came back from my interview, I rushed to my room and closed the door. I leaned on the door and took a deep breathe in.

He was so intense but, he had such beautiful eyes. They are the deepest blue eyes I have ever seen. When he looked straight into my eyes, I thought he was looking into my soul. It was scary and also almost made me pee my pants.

Come to think about it, I think I did feel my pants wet abit. I actually don't think that was pee. Just looking at him made my n*****s hard and my panties wet. That actually scares me because no one has ever made me feel that way before. What am I suppose to do, when I just applied for a job there.

What if I get the job? How am I suppose to behave around him? Or even avoid him? What am I saying, there is no way I could get that job. A girl like me can never get a job there, let alone get a guy like that. Wait! I don't even like him like that. I just need to avoid him.

I had just finished preparing dinner, as I waited for the other two to return from work. It's the least I can do since I moved here.

I was just reading a book that Kate had just gotten for me. She says its a good book, its entitled Think Like A Man by Steve Harvey. I don't know how this is suppose to be good for me. It doesn't even make sense, it's about playboys, mamas boys, dreamer, non committer, I can't even get a 'hey'. I am just reading it cause I love books. Any way the only romance I get is novels, which I know I will never get in real life. Girls like me never find the novel type of love.

I heard the house phone ring. I answered the call.

Lee: hello?

Caller: Hello Lisa. This is Tammy. Remember me?

Oh the girl from CKJ House.

Lee: hey Tammy! Of course I remember you. How did you get this number?

Tammy: From your information silly. Ha-ha-ha you are so funny.

Oh shoot.... I could feel my cheeks reddening. How could I be silly and forget that she has access to my number in my folder.

Lee: oh ya. Sorry. I just wasn't expecting this call.

Tammy: That's okay hun. Anyway, I just called to let you that you got the job. Yay! So you start on Monday.

I was so speechless, I could her her talking but I couldn't hear anything she was saying.

Tammy: Lee! Lee!

Lee: oh yes! I was saying be in the office on Monday. I will need your phone number cause I think we are going to be great friends.

I gave a nervous laugh.

Lee: I actually don't have a phone.

Tammy: Are you serious? Don't worry hun, I will hook you up and with the money you are making. You will upgrade to the type you want. So, I will see you on Monday.

She cut the call and I stood there in shock.

During dinner, I kept on thinking about what I was going to do about the man I told myself that I should avoid.

"hey Lee, are you okay?"

I turned towards Kate who had asked the question, " ya, I am okay. "

"well, you seem like you miles away."

" I got the job at CKJ....."

"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Are you serious? Congratulations Lee!" Kate was excited.

"But you don't seem excited?" Hayden asked.

" I know that I applied there but, I didn't think I would be picked."

"Lee, its a good thing. Its okay for you to be scared but its a cause for celebration." He said.

" You can't always think that bad things are meant for you. You deserve the world. You are one of the kindest, bravest, brilliant people I know and you deserve everything good happening to you. So Lee, put a smile on that face cause my bestfriend is a hank's PA" Kate said.

" hey!"

She moved and sat on his lap, she gave him a quick kiss. " you are my hank"

I laughed and that's how we continued our dinner.

After dinner Kate went on and on about how we needed a spa day this weekend. In her on words, she wanted to spoil me. Despite refusing, that is exactly what she did on Saturday.

It started with her waking me up so early in the morning. Lets keep in mind, no one wants to wake up very early in morning when all they want to do is sleep in.

She came into the room, shouting " Rise and shine sunshine!" she went on to open the curtains. "Be ready in an hour, we have so much to do today."

She left my room but, not after pulling the blanket off my body and exposing me to the morning cold. I could hear her humming a happy tune, I dragged myself to the bathroom and started to prepare.

She had way too much energy for someone who just woke up.

We walked into the salon and she hugged a very bubbly lady who seemed in her early forties.

"Kate! I'm so happy to see you.'

" Cindy! "

" It's good to see you girl. What are we doing today?"

" Well Cindy, you see my sister over there." they both turned to me and then continued " she needs the full treatment."

" you gat it sweetie"

She walked towards me and smiled.

" hello I'm Cindy. You are in safe hands. come on."

I spent the rest of the day having my nails done, hair pulled in all directions, my eyebrows were plucked. Let me tell you something, the s**t hurts hell. Kate was by side the whole time getting taken care of.

"OMG! Lee, you look so beautiful and the highlights bring out your eyes. I guess you are ready for that hank."

Oh Lord help me.
