I turned in my human form just as the door opened and Gideon stood in the doorway, arms folded across his chest, staring at me with eyes full of promise. I was already in the mood just from seeing his hypnotizing gaze.

I grabbed the railing and started climbing the stairs when he approached me, took my hand gently, and we entered the house together. As soon as the door closed, he pulled me just as gently to him, staring at my lips and leaning his head to kiss me.

His lips brushed mine lightly and when he tried to pull away, I grabbed his head with both hands and pulled him back to me.

My mouth took over his with such impatience as if I had been kept locked up somewhere. He moaned and tangled his fingers in my hair. The kiss was deep, wet, passionate and soon I was moaning too. I was ready for him, dripping wet down there. Without taking my lips off his, I blindly started to unbutton his shirt, and when I reached the last button, my hands began to impatiently touch his chest and torso.

We had stopped kissing each other and I started putting light kisses on his naked body. I unbuttoned the last one and helped him take off the shirt, caressing his gorgeous body again. He seemed to realize that this time I wanted things to happen at my pace because he wasn't trying to take the lead. He gladly accepted my attention, giving me full access to his body. I caught him by the hand and led him to the same room we had been in the first time. I knelt down and began to unbutton his pants, and he tangled his fingers into my hair.

I gently pushed him to lie on the bed and moved to sit on top of him.

His hands immediately clung to my thighs. I leaned over him and caught his mouth again, increasing the pace and depth. He was such a good kisser! I could kiss him all night long.

I broke the kiss and watched his hand glide up to cup my breast. He caressed it, his thumb brushing over the n****e and I gasped as it tightened. I whimpered, my need grew by the second. Gideon's hands slid down my waist and I forgot all about control.

My body pressed against him and I started to take off my clothes frantically.

The second my last piece of clothing hit the ground, I lowered myself on his erection, closing my eyes when the pleasure took over me. His moans increased my arousal and I put my hands on top of him and started moving faster.

His fingers dug into my hips as he pounded into me, groaning as I pushed down into him.

My panting grew louder and I soon reached my climax, shivering. He continued to pound into me to the moment his own orgasm exploded.

I kissed him on the shoulder and lay down next to him, still breathing heavily when some commotion caught our attention. A loud growl echoed the silence, followed by deafening barking. Gideon and I jumped out of bed, running out of the room. In the living room, he paused for a moment and turned to me.

"You stay here!"

"What?" Why? No way! Running outside, he turned into his wolf form. I turned and ran after him, finding Riven surrounded by a couple of rogues. I could hear the sound of approaching wolves, hopefully, pack members. One of the wolves attacked Riven and soon the rest three proceeded to do it themselves.

Emery caught the leg of the closest one with her spout and the wolf's cry caught the attention of the others. One walked over to us and tried to attack her and Emery dropped the other's leg and started growling. Riven let out a warning growl, while the two rogues were still circling him. Emery shot forward, swinging her paw at one of the rogues in front, and the other clawed at her hip. Emery's cry did something to Riven because in the next second his menacing growling echoed and one of the rogues cried in his death while the other took off to the woods.

The one that clawed Emery's leg ran but Riven was fastest and sank his teeth at the rogue's neck. Emery did the same with the one remaining wolf.

Soon some of our pack members came. The rogues were dead, with only one escaping, and Riven stared at Emery, slowly approaching her in front of everyone's eyes.

"I told you to stay in the house."

"And watch the Alpha being attacked? No way!"

Riven growled loudly and came even closer and Emery hit him with her paw. His ears perked and he circled her, growling dangerously. Suddenly he tried to climb her up from behind. Emery whimpered and avoided him by going to the sides. She turned to Riven and showed her canines as a warning.

Then Gideon mind-linked me again.

Emery turned around and ran to the pack house.

I stared at my fingers tapping on my mahogany desk. What the Hell I was thinking! I've never been so rude to any of the females I've been sleeping around. That's not my nature. For some reason, Ivi brought out the worst in me. I've never been that angered and attracted to a female before. Even with...

Anyway.

I needed to apologize. If I wanted my d**k burrowed in that sweet p***y of hers again, I should put my feelings in order. I can't keep going crazy around her.

When I recalled the scene with Ivi's wolf surrounded by the two rogues, my nostrils flared and I felt the desire to kill again.

Normally I wasn't a killer. There were two types of werewolves - those that like to kill and those that prefer to avoid it. I was of the second type. Not that I can't or I haven't but If I can avoid it, I will. That's why I usually give the rogues a chance to become a part of my pack instead of in prison or killing them. My dad always accused me of being too gentle, too considerate. Less of an Alpha. He was still blaming my human side for the lack of desire to become the King.

I knew she was in training, and as much as I wanted to speak with her in private, I couldn't wait for tonight.

I went to the lawn, where Tessa usually leads her training, but couldn't spot her in the group of wolves.

I couldn't trust Riven to behave so I turned in my human form.

Tessa came to me almost immediately.

"Alpha, do you need something?"

"I need to speak with Ivi. Where is she?" Something in her eyes bothered me. Like the answer was hard to be given.
