Thirst for blood

1141 Words
Ivi I stayed to wander around the pack house because my curiosity was eating me up. Loren said something about vampires. I hope that wasn't the case. I wanted a break from these damn creatures but at the same time, I knew it was very likely to be vampires. Zyier had to have someone who wanted revenge on him, didn't he? It did not escape me that even if I wanted to, I could not avoid the problems, because both Gideon and Mason could be the target of someone's revenge. "Hey, why are you still here?" I glanced at Pears and shrugged. "I want to know what's going on. And there's nothing to be in a hurry for. Your Alpha took care of it." Pears grinned and headed for the woods. "Where are you going?" "Home." For a moment I wondered if I should use him to accompany me to my house, but I had been waiting for a long time and they had to return at any moment. And before Pears disappeared from my sight, we saw a group of several warriors, Loren and Gideon, coming up, controlling a male in a cape with the hood on. They took him to the pack cells and I finally gave up. Loren would tell me everything when she can. I looked toward the woods, it was so tempting to go and give Emery her morning run but I knew it won't be safe. Don't worry. You know I'm strong enough. I'll protect us. Let's run. No, Emery. We should be cautious. I need to run. I could feel her getting anxious. Nothing bad would happen If we miss one morning. I'll talk to Loren later and If it's safe, I'll let you run. By noon she had become restless and so was I. When Loren told me that they hadn't been able to get anything out of the newly captured wolf and that he didn't seem to be related to vampires, I immediately headed for the woods and turned. We ran for about two hours, she was that excited. When we were about to go home, Gideon's wolf Riven came out of nowhere. I was a little intimidated by him and given Emery's reactions, she felt the same way. The brownish wolf was huge and always seemed ready to tear you apart. Emery began to get nervous, and I felt a growl growling inside her. You shouldn't be here, you little brat! Emery bowed her head guiltily, but then raised it angrily and growled. We know that we have gone a little beyond the pack borders, but that was part of our training. The adrenaline we felt from the little danger was enough to sustain Emery's passion. Suddenly Riven ears perked and Emery cautiously listened. Just a second later, three wolves suddenly jumped on us. Emery howled in pain as the wolf who knocked us down gritted its teeth at her feet. The other two were fighting Riven. Get the Hell out of here. Now. Like I could. Emery began to whimper, and just as I noticed that Riven was successfully repelling the attacks of the other two, another jumped out of nowhere and attacked him in the back. The rogue, who was trying to reach my neck, made the mistake of letting us go to move his jaw higher on our body, and Emery turned furiously and quickly began biting the wolf's back again and again. I didn't know where our strength came from, but a minute later Emery locked her jaw to the wolf's neck and we killed him. The adrenaline was flowing in our veins. I was ecstatic, it was our first kill! But then we looked at Riven and he had managed to kill two of the rogues and now was standing against the third, severely bleeding all the while. Without thinking, carried by the adrenaline, I jumped on the back of the rogue and sank my teeth into his neck. At first, he tried to shake me off, but eventually, he lay on the ground, losing more and more of his strength. Emery began to turn her head furiously, not letting his flesh out of her mouth. The metallic taste of blood filled my senses and sobered me up a little. Seconds later the rogue was dead. Emery let the meat slip out of her mouth and looked solemnly at Riven, who was almost healed and began to approach us menacingly slowly. When he stopped just a step away, Riven began to walk around Emery, growling. He was trying to intimidate us. To make us submit. You're not my Alpha...yet! He growled. Back to the pack house. Now. Riven opened his jaw menacingly and Emery bowed her head, quickly turning in the direction of the pack. Thanks to the free time we had we knew the territory so well as we have always lived here. When we approached the headquarters, I turned in my human form, not caring that I was completely naked since my clothes were waiting for me in front of my house. I heard a hiss and my hand got caught with a strong grip that turned me around so fast, I had the feeling my boobs were going to hit him in the face. Well, honestly it can't happen since I'm hardly a B cup but it really was a strong turn. Gideon was looking at me completely pissed off, his eyes were speaking volumes. "Take your s**t and get the Hell out of my pack!" "What ?!" At first, I was in shock but a pure rage engulfed me. "I'm risking my life to save yours and now you still want me gone?! Are you out of your mind?!" A muscle began to throb in his jaw. "You risked your life because you're a stupid brat. And put on your damn clothes. No one needs to look at your...things." That angered me even more If it was possible. "Look who is saying that. You're naked to the waist even now, Mr. Dignity." "How I am is out of the question. Nobody is allowed to walk in here completely naked. Period." "Well. Apparently, I am." I spread my arms and began to swing left and right, like in a bad version of a skeleton dance. "Look who's naked now." He waited for my ridiculous show to end and then said with his strong voice. "Leave." I sobered, becoming serious, and looked at him tiredly. My eyes pleaded when my voice whispered. "Please, don't send me to my brother." Something clicked in his eyes and then he stormed toward the pack house. I followed him with my eyes but when I looked at where Gideon was standing seconds before, I saw Violet looking at me in shock, holding a small bundle in each hand.
