I was taken off guard by the question. How did she already know? She must have read the look on my face because she quickly explained.
"Word travels fast when you can mindlink." She said, winking. "Plus, I am married to Gabriel's brother so I know things." She said. I considered what to say, unsure of what Jon wanted the other wolves to know.
"We decided to try. He had been hesitant but said he would try." I felt like the simplest explanation was probably best.
"So, how did you get Jon to date you?" She asked. Debra gasped and scolded her.
"Lauren! Why would you ask Lacey such a thing!?" Debra exclaimed.
"What!? He hates humans. At least he used to. And why would he date a human? What about his mate?" She said.
