Courtney age 11 My birthday came around quicker then I had ever imagined. It was almost christmas, we’d been so busy with the Christmas production I’d almost forgot I had one of the biggest parts in the production of the Christmas carol they all said I had a voice in an Angel, so I was to open the production and end the production along with Isaac who was playing Scrooge. I laughed when they gave him that part he fitted it well, just lately he was always in a strop. His friends were the three Christmas ghosts. We had all decided to go to a trampoline park and go to grab burgers, criers and milkshakes after. Everyone was genuinely having fun bouncing and jumping on the trampolines laughing at the guys attempt to summersult in-mid air and failing miserably. We all had burgers and fries with strawberry and chocolate milkshakes. We’d all had a great day and it was only just begging at least that Tucker and his friends weren’t with us; they had all decided to go go karting for Tucker and Bryce's birthday. Thank god. I don’t think I’d be able to tolerate Ashton Barraman today. He has already tormented me enough over these three months. I hate the jerk with a passion, but I chose not to say anything to upset Tucker. They are best friends as well as Bryce. They are always hanging out with one another. I see a lot of Bryce more than Ashton and my brother. Why I don’t know he’s got his own friends but insists on sharing his time with me. The time will come when he no longer wants to hang out with me when he finally finds a girlfriend, but I guess that time is a long way off. We all went back to my house and hung out for a while as the weather was getting colder we opted in staying in and chi long watching films, taking the mick out of the actors and the ridiculous things they do on screen for money. We also played games on the x box challenging each other, just a normal day for us all when Tucker and his friends weren’t here hogging it. We all said our goodbyes. “We’ll see you on New Year for Theo’s birthday!” “Sure. Thanks for coming.” “We’re all going shopping on Boxing Day Court. We'll come for you around 10:30.” “Okay.” We all hugged. “Bye kitten,” “Later Issac.” “Don’t forget you owe me a day alone this holiday?” He winked. I blushed, how could I forget. “Sure just let me know when.” “I sure will kitten.” He said, kissing my cheek. “Thanks for inviting us hun, it was great.” “Yeah it was Court, we'll see you new year.” “You will.” We all waved goodbye and I closed the door. I breathed out, finally I could chill and no one could disturb me. I truly enjoyed this day with my friends. I jumped on to the sofa sighing out loud while laying down. The front door closed with loud chatter, great peace disturbed. ‘Hey Courtney!” “Hey sis.” ‘Tucker, Bryce.” “How was your day sis? Was the trampoline center awesome?” “It was the best. How about go karting?” “Wicked, you should’ve been there to take the smug grin off Ash’s face.” I grinned widely. “If only, but I’ve never been karting, only raced in games.” “Then you're halfway there.’ “Bodge up sis let the oldies sit down!” Tucker cracked smiling. I huffed pulling myself up. Bryce sat down, Tucker sunk into the armchair. “I got you something, Court.” “You didn’t have to.” “I wanted to.” He said fishing out a box out of his pocket. “I hope you like it.” “I’m sure I will, I took it off him, opening it. A heart shaped necklace lay inside with: forever friends inscribed in it. I smiled. “It’s lovely Bryce, thank you.” I said, leaning forward pecking his cheek. “I have something for you to.” “You didn’t have to Angel.” “Shh.” I said, flapping my hands in front of me and picking up the small box. “Here.” He smiled, taking it off me. He carefully opened it to reveal a sovereign ring woth friends for life engraved in it. I sure hoped we would be no matter what or where we were. He grinned widely, slipping it onto his finger. “I love it, Angel. Thank you.” He said, connoting his lips with mine, kissing me softly, I sat from. He moved away. “Let me out the necklace on.” I just nodded. I had no words that was so unexpected. He smiled, taking the necklace out of the box and unclamping it. I moved my hair to one side and he placed it around my neck clapping it together, smelling me what the hell Bryce? “Mmh you smell nice Angel.” “Thanks, Simone got it me for my birthday.” “It suits you.” I smiled. “All done.” “Thanks.” He moved away and I could finally feel the air around me unconsuming me. Tucker sat his fits clenching in and out as if he was ready to kill someone, he looked at me his eyes cold s**t he was going to have it out with Bryce neither of us really sure what the hell was going on.
