Shane
I can't believe it's been almost ten years since I left home to join the Royal Marines. This will be the first time that I have returned home. I wanted to make my family proud especially my parents, more importantly my little sister. She's twelve now and she probably won't even remember me. I was sixteen when I left to join and she was only one.
I am now twenty six and have worked hard to get where I am. I am the Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royal Marines. I am the top dog. I gad rake over drinking the excitement Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royal Marines when he retired.
I have missed my family tremendously especially Tucker and Courtney. Tucker was two when I joined her Royal Marines. I was the typical bad boy I gave loads of friends and loads of girls after me. I lost my virginity at fifteen but unfortunately I found out when it was too late that I had no interest in girls. I liked guys, but being in the marines I had to hide the fact I liked d**k. I've had many one-night stands when we were celebrating.
None of the guys on the Marines know if my sexuality and they won't either.
I have decided that i was going to leave the Royal Marines in four years tk pursue my happiness. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy my life in the Royal Marines, buf I want more. I want to find someone who I can be truly happy, someone to settle down with. I've been doing this for such a long time that if has became the norm.
I stand looking at the door of their new home. I know they moved. I talk to my olds as often as I can. Courtney writes often I know they have lived here for two years now. Courtney despise a guy called Ashton baresnan who happens to be one of Tucker's friends, his best friend.
Well had sent each other photos recently so I hope she recognises me as I'm standing here in all my combat gear. We've just come back from Bosnia. We've been there for two years trying to keep the peace.
We're on leave for six months, hopefully until we have to leave again.
I turned as I heard chatting and laugher, I was holding a very large green holder. I smiled. as they spruced me.
"Shane?" She squealed.
"Where's your big brothers hug little one?"
She ran up to me and I dropped his bag on the ground and pulled her into a hug. "I've missed you little one"
"I've missed you to Shane."
"You were one when I left little one. I'm surprised you even remember me."
"Mom tc mf slm about you. She even showed me and Tucker photos of you growing up."
I bet she did.
I pulled out of the hug looking at a completely baffled kid around Courtney’s age. "And who's this? Your boyfriend,'
She giggled, shaking my arm playfully. “No silly. This is my best friend Isssc."
"Nice to meet you." I said putting my hand out.
He looked hesitant, but outstretched his hand to shake mine. "I'm Shane, Courtney’s eldest brother. I'm in the Royal Marines. I've been there for the last ten years so don't be surprised if you've heard nothing about Mr." I smiled.
"It's nice to meet you too sir."
"Please call shsnd I'm not a sir and I'm definitely not one of your teachers. "
He nodded. “It's nice to meet you Shane."
"You to, Isaac. Would you like to join us?"
"I would say yes, but another time. I'm sure your family would like to see you without one of Courtney’s friends interrupting your welcome home."
I smiled, letting go of his hand. This boy had a strong grip and would serve him well. I smiled. "Another time if is."
He smiled then looked at Courtney. "I'll see you tomorrow."
She smiled. "Bye Courtney. "
"Bye Issac."
"Bye Shane "
"Later littler dude." I said smiling.
"It was cool meeting you."
"You to dude."
He smiled and walked away.
"You scared him shitless Shane."
"I didn't mean tk little one. I like him, he's polite and friendly. Stick with that one."
She nodded.
'Come in let's go in and surprise everyone. "
"Sure thing little one." I smiled nervously, this would be the first time in almost ten years I would see my family again.
Courtney opened the door stepping onto the house and I followed her in.
Tucker
I've had a really shitty day. I had an argument with Ash about his behaviour towards my sister, but it's as if he doesn't give a s**t. He's obsessed with making her life miserable. He's pissing me right off. Bryce had to hold me off so I didn't do sby serious damage to him. He should've just let me pound into Ash, but no he had to try and stop it, so currently we are slain detection which sucks by the way. I can't wait to get home and relax. This place is my worst nightmare.
"We wouldn't go here now if you hadn't thrown the first punch."
Oh did I fail to say I got in knew punch before Bryce stopped me throwing another and now he has a black eye because he took Ashton's shot for me.
"And I wouldn't have wanted to punch your lights out if you kept Courtney alone!"
"Boo hoo, poor Courtney can't even stick up for herself she had to get that freak and you to do it for her."
"Take that back Ash!"
'Hell no she's a leech, Tucker the sooner you realise that better for all of us. Can't you see that she got you right where she wants you? Wrapped around her little finger!"
"You're an asshole Ashton either you take that back or I'll beat it out of you!"
"I'll never take it back when it's the truth!"
I stood up abruptly, my chair scraping across the floor.
"Mr. Mendez, Mt. Barraman may I remind you where you are. This is a school in yoh want another hour's detention on top of this one. Carry on by all means, but if you don't I suggest you sit down Mr. Mendez and sort this feud out in your own time, not mine."
"Sorry, Miss " I said, sitting down.
Ashton grinned. I'm so going to wipe that smirk off his face. Brayce sat shaking his head saying nothing.
