New year's celebrations -New year's eve pt 2

958 Words
Asher I can't believe our parents are extremely dumb to leave a house full of teenagers in the hands of my older brother and husband's friends. What a god damn joke. No offence towards Lawrence, but the dude clearly had grown up yet. He's just finished uni and the tales he's telling us. I just hope by the time he turns twenty-five he has at least settled down before mom and dad marry him off to someone who he neither cares for or loves cause that's exactly how this family is. Tucker arrived around an hour ago and we're all sitting casually in the basement drinking and smoking. Unfortunately, my brother and his so-called friends are here. He has big plans for the new year, ones he hasn't shared with any of us. We're all meeting up at Ace's, so I'm going to have to put up with Courtney for the night as long as she keeps her distance wellbeing fine. Thinking of Ace, where the hell is he? "Yo bro, where's Ace?" "He's babysitting tonight, his baby sister has her friends around, so we're all going over there tomorrow around seven to celebrate the new year's start." "Bet he's loving that. Having to look after his sister and her friends." "Nagh and his new uni buddies are there too. I'm sure they're going to have a blast." He laughed. Tucker sat quietly clenching and unclenching his fists, gritting his teeth, mmh this isn't going to end well. "There are older guys there!?" "That's what I just said." "His many?" "Duknow. He just said they were his housemates." "They had best not go near my sister!" "Chillax Tucker dude, Ace won't let them near her" Ash laughed and I glared at him angrily. I'm so vexed right now. "Who the F'k are you kidding? He had a crush on her!" "She's just a kid, Tucker. He's almost twenty-three. I think he was just being himself. He's a pretty outgoing guy and she's a good looking girl." "She's my sister! If dating that d**k, Issac Walker, isn't enough, have guys old enough to know better gawking at her." "Whowh hold the fire? Your sister and Isaac are???" "Together, yes." "Tragic right. Couldn't have put a better couple together." Lawrence. Both Tucker and I gave Ash the death glare. What the hell is his problem anyway? And damn, I never expected that. I knew they were close, almost joined at the hip, but Courtney is a good looking girl and I'm surprised guys aren't lining up to be with her. Issac is damn lucky to have her as his girl. There would be a lot of guys I know who would go for a girl like Courtney if they were younger and I knew I'd be one of them. I best keep that to myself and the fact that Ace still has his eyes set on her though he's a casanova, he never forgot that fiery girl he'd met five years ago. I wonder how he's going to take the news. I can't wait to see how much Courtney has changed these past four years. Mouse I can't believe how dumb Rush can be, yet no one tried to stop him. Even when he poured the whole bottle of vodka into the punch bowl. It was non-alcoholic for Ace's sister and her friends; they were apparently teenagers , but looking at them; they looked like they were about to go into college. The last of her friends arrived. I wasn't paying much attention as she strolled in. Hugging her friends and locking lips with one of the guys who had been introduced to us. I can't remember his name for s**t. It took me four years to remember, Ace and he just laughed it off. Unlike the girls I've been with. They weren't too impressed with my forgetfulness. Well, they were on night stands. They never lasted after that one night and had a mental block. The guys thought it was hysterically seen as they knew I couldn't remember names for s**t. He introduced her to everyone. That's when I looked up she was so cocky she reminded me of me when I was her age. I smirked, looking at her and damn. If only she was six years older, it would take her off the guy for sure. We all went down to the basement cause Rush insisted on her showing her skills at beating Ace's ass at snooker. We all knew no one could beat him. We'd all tried, believe me, and we'd all lost hundreds. This kid would never beat him unless it was a fluke or he let her. Whichever it was, he had better play fair. We sat and watched as they battled it out and, low and behold, the kid actually won. Well damn. By the end of the game, they were all drunk. I was as surprised as the others. Surprised that she could actually see straight, let alone hit the ball and put it on. I was truly impressed and I think my friends were smirking in their faces. They shook hands. Ace flipped his lid and the only way to calm him down was to give him a shot. We all made our way outside and all the teenagers fell onto the chairs, making us all laugh and Ace glaring at us angrily. He let the fireworks off and Courtney was cuddled up to the dude, she was kissing earlier and soon they were in a full-on make-out session and damn if I didn't wish it was me instead of him. Ace glared angrily, turning away. I guess I wanted the only one who was attracted to her. Game on.
