New year's festivities  - New Years Eve pt 1

1233 Words
Courtney I can't believe mom and dad have allowed both me and Tucker to stay with our friends this new year. Did they really trust us that much? Apparently not. "Now listen and listen well. We're trusting you both to be good whilst you're staying at your friends' homes this new year. You will all be well supervised while we have our get-together here, so we can enjoy ourselves without worrying that our kids are getting into trouble. Promise us you will behave." "We promise dad." We both chorused. He smiled, patting us on our heads. Go and get your stuff ready. I'll drop you off at Simone's once you're done, pumpkin." "Thanks dad." I said, smiling brightly. We both ran upstairs. "Just be careful when you're there, sis. I know her brother is going to be there babysitting you." I smiled. "That goes for you too, Tucker. I've heard really bad things about Asher's brother. Don't be surprised if his friends aren't there flat drunk." "I will." We went into our rooms and packed out overnight bags. Yes, our parents had let us stay overnight knowing that there was 'a responsible adult ' there. Yeah, right Ace is far from responsible, he's probably got his college froebel round there right now as we speak with loads of girls, disgusting. Simone's mom had convinced my parents that we would be in safe hands with Ace, like I believed that. "Honey, are you done?" "Yeah mom I'm coming." I slung my bag over my shoulders and headed out of my room and downstairs. "Tucker has already left, he said goodbye and he'd see you for the new year." Yeah, you heard it right. We were spending the whole of the next two days with our friends, but the catch was we had to spend time with each other's friends on New Year's day. Yippee, this is going to be so much fun! Not. I hugged and said goodbye to my dad before mom drove me to Simone's. We hugged, saying goodbye to another behaviour lecture which I nodded along to. What did she think we were going to do? We're not old enough to do anything. Minus Ace, who I haven't seen much since I began high school, nor did I care mom said he was at uni or something along those lines, I kinda zoned out. I closed the car door and waved at mom as she drove away. I went up to the door and knocked. It slowly opened. Ace I smirked, eyeing the beauty in front of me. She sure had changed in the last few years I'd been away at uni. I barely had time for my friends, let alone my family. "Well, isn't this a surprise?" "Ace." "Well, don't just stand there, Cutie, come in. The party is about to begin." She rolled her eyes, stepping in. I closed the door. Sim had warned me not to make any wise cracks at Courtney tonight or make her feel uncomfortable or she wouldn't be held responsible for Courtney's or her other friends' actions, especially Isaac. What the f'k had it got to do with him anyway? I turned around and bam he had her in an embrace with his tongue down her throat and, damn, why, had no one warned me? I coughed loudly. They quickly pulled away. "Sorry to interrupt, but I don't wish to see you DOA for entertainment." "Just cause you ain't fitting any!" Rush sniggered." "F' You!" "Watch your mouth, laddies present." He sniggered. I showed him the bird. My sister was far from a lady with her foul mouth Ava second, but I doubt the cute angel would even know a curse word. "It's okay having Ashton and the goons around the house covering a lot of foul language. " She giggled. "I like this girl, aren't you going to introduce us?" "Yeah Ace, it's rude not to introduce your guest." Damn, she's also got hella a lot more feisty in the last few years. "Courtney, these are my friends from uni. The loud mouth is Rush, then there's Mouse. He doesn't talk much, Cruise and Marshal are identical twins. " "Hey." "Hey gorgeous, nice to meet someone who can match up with our man here." I heard Isaac growl, irritated by Marshall's comment. He pulled Courtney close to him. Possessive much. "She's good at snooker too, the first girl to ever whip his ass." They chuckled. "We'll have to see that one, no one can beat his ass." "Well, she did and she'll do it again.' "Game on." I smirked. "Come on guys, it was a one off." "Come on hun, show us how it's done." "I don't know." She said, unsure. No way was she going to back out of this one. "You scared you'll lose?" "No I.. " "Just shut him up, show him you can beat his ass so his big head can deflate." She shrugged her shoulders and smirked. "Sure why not? Someone has to do it." "Game on, sweetheart." Issac cut his eyes, warning me to stay the hell away from her. Talk about marking your territory. We went down to the basement. Courtney sure has changed since I just saw her. She was more confident and you could see it through every move she made. I racked up and we flipped a coin to see who took the first door, which was Courtney, which was no surprise. She took her first hit and potted the red. She took her next shot, and her next. My friends were impressed with her. Little did they know I taught her almost everything she knew and I was proud that she had remembered it all. She missed the next, giving me a chance to take a few shots. It went on like that until she potted black. We shook hands and her eyes were glazed. I'm surprised she could even see the f'n ball, let alone pot, and what had the guys given her? I looked around and I wasn't the only one who was drunk. I'd promised mom there would be no alcohol. "What the hell have you given them?" Isnapped. "Chill, Ace, it was just something for them to relax." "My olds are going to f'n kilm me!" "Relax, Ace, and have a drink with us. It's almost midnight and we can let off some fireworks." "No! You got a bunch of fourteen-year-olds drunk!" "Chillax bud they'll be fine. Here it'll help you relax." He said, passing me the glass of liquor. "I don't want it! One of us has to stay sober." "Come on Ace - cey, one drink with your buddies." Ugh I took it from Rush. He can be such an ass sometimes. He smirked. "That's the Ace we know and love. "Let's go outside and set the fire up if you're not too drunk, that is." "Us never!" He smirked. We all went outside dragging six teenagers out. Suddenly, they dropped to the grass and I shook my head. Once the fireworks were set up and the clock struck midnight, I let them off. I looked back to see Isaac's tongue down Courtney's throat again. F'k I'm so sick of their PDA. I turned away, watching the fireworks. If these lot aren't sober by new year's day, I'm in so much s**t. Happy New f'n Year.
