Ashton Courtney was getting on my last nerve. She'd been at school for two days and we all could tell the change in her. I blame Issac Walker. That one is a bad apple and we all can see it but her. I'm not sure if she has made any other friends there, but I'm sure we'll find out tomorrow when we get to school. If she pisses me off any more I'll make sure she won't do it again. She's been at hand after school for the past few days. God I hated it when she was around us but the guys didn't seem to mind as they had more competition than me. It was finally Wednesday. Me and the guys were all attending school today. What I wasn't expecting was the crowed of both boys and girls accumulating around Courtney and her friends. "Looks like your sister has made plenty of friends." "Looks that way." Tucker grinned, but it soon vanished when Jossiah Kinsman and his bad boy friends were walking past them smiling at them. They smiled back. Then he winked at Courtney. How the hell did he even know her? Tucker veiled his fists glaring angrily at Jossiah. "How the hell dies that asswipe kneow my sister?" "I don't know dude." "He best keep away from her if he knows what's best for him. I don't want no want no dead beat player who thinks he can have every girl he wishes. Well he's never having my sister!" He said, still humming. The bell rang. "Come on Tuck let's go, you can have it out with them later. Right now we need to get to registration." He nodded and we headed to our tutor room I hadn't seen anything of Courtney since this morning. I finally spotted her along anc heading towards the cafeteria. I grabbed her at. Pushing her into the lockers. Looking at her angrily. "What the hell Ashton?" "WELL AREN'T WE POPULAR LEECH?" "No. Not really. I just make friends easily. You should try it some time." "You're pushing me the wrong way Courtney. " "Really and what are you going to do about it?" I opened my mouth. "Yeah. What are you going to do about it? Shit. I turned, looking into the eyes of the devil. Great, just great. "This is a private conversation." He ignored me looking directly at Courtney. "You okay Squirt.?" "How ironic he'd even hit a nickname for you. Wait till Tucker heats this." "We're friends I think I have the privilege of giving her a nickname, right squirt?' "Ye..es" He smirked. "Now if you don't mind it's lunch and I'm hungry how about you squirt are you hungry?" "I am " He grinned pulling her out of my grip. "Come on squirt your friends will be wondering where you are." He dropped his arm over her shoulders. She nodded and he smirked leading her away. How dare he interrupt our conversation. "This isn't over Courtney. Not by a long shot." He turned his eyes cut through mine. If looks could kill they would've. "Oh yes it is. If I find out that you've bothered Courtney in any way, you'll regret it!" He warned. He turned away whispering into her ear as they headed down towards the dining hall. I guess I best get something to eat and meet the guys. I grabbed my lunch. I sat down with my friends. "Where have you been?" "Taking care of business." Tucker looked over the dining hall, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth. "He's going to get it coming to him. He best stag away from my sister or he'll regret it." "That's not a good idea Tucker. I've just had a run in with him. He's some kind of guardian angel making sure no one gets near her. " "We'll soon see about that." "Just watch yourself around him Tucker. We don't want you to end up like so many others." He nodded. I looked over there was a boy around Courtney’s age gritting his teeth and clenching his teeth shooting daggers at Jossiah. I guess he didn't like the asshole either. Once lunch was over we all went to our separate registration rooms then to our last two lessons before we all met up and headed home. Tucker I'm vexed right now. I can't believe that prick from year eleven is sniffing around my sister. What the hell is the dude even thinking? He's four years older than her! I've had about enough of older guys gaping over her. I have enough of watching Bryce and her sk called 'bestie' Issac drooling over her. FFS she's not even a teenager yet and she's got guys her age and older fawning over her. This s**t has to stop. I'm sick of it. She's too young for a relationship and all these guys are bad news, especially that prick Jossiah. He's the well know bad boy of year eleven not only does he screw around with girls and break their hearts he has a record he can't even be tamed. She is not hanging around that asswipe so he can tear her down and throw her away like all the rest of the girls he plays with. I won't allow him to. He can find a w***e in his year. I walked down the corridors where he is and by the look of it he'd arguing with one of the guys that was hanging with Courtney this morning. "Just leave her alone, Jossiah. She's too young for you. She's too good for someone like you she is a good girl and good girls deserve better than a bad boy." I grin. I like this guy already. "Look Thomas. Keep your nose out of my business or your brother will know your putting your beak in where its night wanted. Me and Courtney are friends so get used to it." "She's not one of your puppets Jossiah, she has feelings." "I'm well aware she has feelings, Thomas. I respect her." "You don't even know the meaning of the word Jossiah. Stay the hell away from her. There's plenty of whores that are willing to have you." "Well, I don't want them!" "Stay away from her." "Never!" He said storming away. I walked over to the guy whose face was red with anger. "So you don't like him either?" He looked at me confused. "Who Jossiah? Who does." "A lot of girls and his friends." He grunted and cursed. "Thomas. My brother is that prick's best friend." I grinned."Tucker Mendez. It's nice to meet Thomas." He gasped. "You're Courtney’s brother?" "I am. I heard what you said to that jumped up jerk and I'm going to make sure he never goes anywhere near my sister." "He won't listen, he never does." "He will believe me." "Your funeral." More like his. I told Thomas I had to go to a lesson and I would make sure that this jumped up prick wouldn't be around much longer. He wished me good luck and we parted ways. I finally caught up with him before I met up with my friends. "Hey Jossiah!" He turned and looked at me te aas with his friends, but I didn't care. "Yes, how can I help you?" "Stay the hell away from Courtney." "And who the hell are you to tell me what to do?" "She's my sister and I don't want her to have anything to do with you! We all know about you and I don't want you anywhere near her. I won't let you hurt her!" "Listen up?" "Tucker." "Well listen up Tucker as long as in here in this school I will be friends with your sister and I will protect her at any cost do you have me?" "She doesn't need you protecting hef she has me!" "Really I find that hard to believe where were you when that little prick Ashton Barraman was threatening her? Nowhere that's where!" He said, angrily. I'll kill Ash. He never mentioned he had a run in with Courtney, just that he had words about this douche. He was warned not to go near her because he knew exactly what buttons to press to bring on an attack. "Let me tell you something for free Tucker. Whilst I am here I shall protect Courtney whether you like it or not. That little peick will never go near her again whilst I'm around and if I hear he has after i leave this dump he'll regret it. Goodbye Tucker." He said walking away. I stood with my jaw open had I got this guy all wrong?
