Bryce I walked away from Courtney. God knows what is wrong with that girl today had someone riled her up? She’d never spoken that harshest towards me before, maybe she was finally growing a backbone. I grinned. Tucker was fuming great I guess I know who pissed her off. “Hey Tuck.” “Bryce.” He muttered. “What’s wrong dude? I just saw your sister and…” “Don’t tell me she snapped at you too?” “She did.” He bolted out the house. “Tuck slow down man it was nothing.” “Nothing! How dare she bring you into this, all she had to do was stay the hell away from that Issac dude and we’d be fine.” Oh that explains everything. “Courtney!” He shouted. Geese this girl walks quickly. “Courtney come back here and apologize to Bryce, this is between you and me!” He shouted. She continued walking and she sure had some front this morning. “Come on dude let’s get to school we don’t want to be late on our first day do we?” “I guess not.” “Come on we’ll have to get Ashton up no doubt.” “Mmh.” He grunted, and we walked towards Ashton’s. Tucker I can’t believe she talked back to me. She had never back chased what the hell is wrong with her? It just goes to show she’s going into her last year of Savoy Primary and now that me and Bryce are no longer there she thinks things can go back to normal and she’ll be going back to being friends with Issac. Not a goddamn chance. I’ll make sure of that, the kid is a no hoper, but Courtney doesn’t seem to think so. I can’t understand why he caused this as well as Aash so I guess I’m good to talk to. I'm still friends with him. Bryce came in. I knew he would, so I left the door off the latch so he could come in, when he didhe told me that Courtney had gunned for him too. I was fuming how dare she, what the hell had he ever done to her? I had tried to catch up to her but that girl was quick. I called her and she ignored me. The b***h ignored me. I can’t believe she would ignore me. She’s in a world of s**t when she gets back home. Ashton age 12 I opened my door to be greeted with a smiling Bryce by a hard faced Tucker. “What’s with the face?” “Don't worry about him, he's had a run in with his sister.” Bryce answered “What about?” “Don't matter, it's not important.” Bryce said. But it did. “It must be if he has a face as long as a wet weekend.” “She didn’t like it cause I told her to stay away from that no hoper Issac.” “Issac Walker?” “Yep.” He said. “So she didn't listen to you?” “No she didn’t. I don’t know what the hell has gotten into her just lately it started with heat changing her hair now she’s talking back. She’s never talked back before.” “She’s just growing up Tuck she’ll grow out of it.” “She took it out on you Bryce there was no need.” “It’s cool dude, don't worry about it.” “She shouldn’t have end of.” We walked to school chatting, meeting up with the others and they went through the whole damn thing again. I was angry. I couldn’t believe what the guys were saying. I can’t believe that they chose not to listen to me about his precious little sister and here she was again being a b***h why doesn’t that surprise me? I for one was so glad that we didn’t have to spend time with her during the holidays. She was always out with her friends. Thank god for that. I couldn’t bear to see her face in mine for six whole weeks.  Thank you lord. On the other hand Bryce had been spending a substantial amount of time with her much to my distaste but Tucker was there too so I couldn’t really say much. But now,we’ve shifted schools she seems to have got her bravery card out she needs to be put down a peg or two and I’m going to be the one who does it cause Tucker won’t come down in her hard enough and Bryce will just take whatever s**t she’s dishing out, me on the other hand won’t take no s**t from no one especially her. We all piled into Tucker’s house, surprised that Courtney wasn’t there. He called his mom who was on shift at the hospital. She'd told him she was out with her friends, we all knew that meant she was out with Isaac Walker. I looked at Courtney when everyone was out of the room. “You’re walking on thin ice you know that right?” “What the hell are you talking about Barraman? And why are you even in my house?” “Tucker invited us, and yes your mom knows.” “Great.” “You need to stop the attitude Courtney.” “What attitude?” “The I’m it you’re s**t attitude.” She gaped. “You’re not allowed to swear Barraman.” “Like I care.” I got closer to her, nerving her. “Now listen and listen good. Stop with this act and stay, behaving like good little girls should. You know as well as I do Tucker is only looking out for you.” “Well there’s no need. I can be friends with whom I please, like he can. You’re his friend. I dealt with that, I’m friends with Issac. He needs to back off or he won’t like what’s coming.” “Is that a threat?” “Oh no, it's a promise.” “You don’t scare me Courtney.” “You don’t scare me either.” The door creaked and I pulled back. Tucker and the guys walked back in. ”Is everytng okay in here?” “Peachy.” “We’re heading out to the track, are you coming?” “Sure beats sitting around here.” I said pulling myself up. Looking at Courtney telling her this was far from over. Tucker looked are her. “Are you coming sis?” “Nagh. I’m fine.” “Mom will flip.” “What she doesn't know won't hurt her.” His mouth hung a gape. “Well, let’s go then.” I said, happily. He smiled and looked at his sister. “Are you sure you’re going to be okay here alone?” “Yes now go.” We all left the house, thank god we didn’t have to hang around her she’d ruin our rep.
