Courtney I smiled once he left he’s so dumb and such a sucker he actually beloved theat crap mom knew I would be here alone, Issac was coming over. I’d left the girls half an hour ago because Simone had to go home to see her grandparents I wish I had that privilege my grandparents lived thousands of miles away we usually visited them in the holidays we hadn’t long got back we had spent two weeks there in the middle of the holidays in the perishing hot sun in Spain. The door knocked and I got up to answer it. I walked over to the front door and opened it. To a very casual looking Issac. “Hey Issac come in.” He smiled, stepping in. “I just saw your brother with the misfits.” I rolled my eyes. “Yeah so did I. They just left.” He nodded. We went over to the sofa and sat down. He looked at me. “So how are things with you and you know?” “My brother is a pain in my ass, so is Bryce. I've had a run in with Ashton about my attitude. We'll screw him, his attitude stinks.” “Don’t let him get to you kitten. He has a good way of doing that. I don’t want you to end up where you did last time because he was tormenting you.” “Just chill Issac. He won’t get to me ever again. I won’t give him the pleasure.” He smiled . “I meant to tell you your hair suits you, so do the glasses.” I smiled. Thanks. Though I hate them, I don't have much choice in wearing them.” He nodded. “God it feels weird being back here after so long.” “I know right.” I looked at him. “How’s about a challenge?” I smirked. “What kind of challenge?” “Mario kart who ever wins does the other chores for a week. Deal?” “Your going to wish you never said that.” “You're going to regret making the challenge.” “Let's race.” I nodded and we both took a controller each choosing our characters for the race. We played best out of ten damn he was good but so am I. We both went over the line together. “Draw.” I sighed, throwing down the remote. He placed the remote control down. “Now what do we do? We never discussed a draw.” “Split the week and do each other’s chores.” He grinned. “You really don’t know what you’ve got yourself into.” “Neither do you.” She laughed. She’s never seen my bedroom. She'll wish she never made this deal. It was almost seven when Issac left and my mom returned home not long after and at the same time as Tucker this was going to be fun.she winked at me and turned to Tucker. Tucker Oh crap moms back I knew this would be too good to be true. Mom turned to face me. I gulped I was going to be on so much s**t. “Tucker, please don’t tell me you left Courtney all alone and you went out with your friends?” “I erm.” “No lying to me young man. I want the truth, young man, did you or did you not leave your sister all along in this big old house?” “I’m.” I paused thinking about how to play it. Mom tapped her foot boy she was mad here goes nothing. “I’m sorry Mom, but Courtney said she would be okay alone.” “I’m sure your sweet little sister wouldn’t say such a thing, would you darling?” She said turning to Courtney. “No mom I wouldn’t.” She said sweetly. “But you said.” “Inside and we’ll discuss your punishment.” We walked in. “But mom I swear she said.” They both burst out laughing. “What’s so funny?” They both tuned trying to hide their laughter failing. “You really believed she would stay here alone?’’ “Hugh?!” “I agreed to let her stay alone because her friend was coming over, and I know you would rather spend time with your friends rather than your sister now that you are in highschool. We all know what it’s like Tucker wanting to fit in. She has good friends and she needs to be with them and not so much with you and yours now.” “Bu..” “No buts Tucker Mom was letting you off the leash so be grateful okay.” “Which friend came over?” I swallowed hard and this could either go good or bad. “Issac, he is such a nice boy.” “He caused her to go to hospital.” Mom looked at Courtney. “Is this true?” “We had a misunderstanding, that's all.” “And you never thought to tell me?” “We sorted it out.” “Still.” “He saved my life.” “True.” No mom please don’t agree with her; he needs to be gone. She looked at me. “We should be grateful to him, Tucker, not throwing daggers at him.” “Well I don’t like him and I think she can have better friends.” “So can you, but I don’t interfere.” “Hold up guys.” We stood silent. “Look, you both are growing up and you may or may not like each other’s friends.” Aint that the truth. “But you both have to accept that, just because one of you or both of you don’t like either of the other’s friends it doesn’t give you the right to tell them who they can and can’t be friends with so stop your pettiness and agree to disagree okay?” “Yes mom.” We both chimed. “Good, now let’s have a nice and peaceful night.” “Sure mom.” I opened Courtney’s door after she had told me to come in. “Tucker, I thought you were mom.” “As you can see I am not.” “So what do I owe the honour?” “I must say you and mom are sly to do that to me.” “It was mom's idea, I just went along with it.” “Sure you did.” “Is that the only reason you’re here Tucker?” “Yes there is. Your attitude this morning sucked.” “Get used to it.” “You’ve never spoken to me like that before. I was shocked and annoyed, then you had the nerve to take your s**t out on Bryce and ignore me while I was shouting you.” “Sorry. I never heard you and I’ll apologise to Bryce happy?” “I guess.” “Is there anything else?” “I don’t like Issac, but I’m going to let it drop. I know you and Ashton don’t get on and we’re friends and you’ve never stopped that so I won't stop you from being friends with Issac.” She smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back. “Thanks, that means a lot.” “I still don’t like him.” “I don’t like Ashton either.”
