Courtney Everyone roared in whistles, claps and we all took the front of the stage and bowed again. Flowers were thrown on the stage. Our tutors picked them up, bowing again before we all made our way off stage. I've never been so terrified in my whole life as much as I have today, things could've gone terribly wrong but I'm so glad they didn't. I had a fear of forgetting the lyrics to each of the songs or messing them up completely as I had so many to remember, but I didn't I made my way over to my family and friends hugging them as they all congratulated me. I looked past everyone and wondered if Jossiah and his friends had made it. I know he said he would but you can barely believe a guy who treats girls like crap. I knew hd was a bad boy, a type to let you down, to break a promise. He was a bad boy of course, that's what to be expecting from a guy with a rep like his. So I wasn't expecting him to turn up at all. But there he was, his friends surrounding him. He smiled widely whilst his friends mouths were agape. "I'll be back in a tick, mom and dad." "Sure honey. " I walked away with mom asking Tucker where I was going and who to. Tucker replied in an angry tone and told her it was Jossiah, a friend of mine. He grinned at me."Hey squirt." "Hey Jo. I didn't think you'd come?" "And miss you singing not a chance." "So you got your friends here too?" "I said I would, kicking or screaming " I smiled. 'You were wow." Rudder commented. I could never remember their names as I hardly saw them. 'Thanks." "Where did you learn to sing like that?" "Practice, lots of it." "I bet. You're an angel in disguise. You should really think about taking it up professionally." "I'm too young to think about that right now, maybe in five or six years time." They all smiled. "Well I'm going to have to love and leave you guys my family is waiting for me. Thanks for coming to see the show.: "The pleasure is all ours." We all hugged Jossiah, he whispered in my ear. "You're voice is breathtaking, squirt. If you ever need help getting a music produced just key me know okay." "Sure." He grinned and kissed my cheek before pulling out of the hug. "We'll see you Monday squirt." "Sure will, later guys." "Later squirt." "Later Courtney." I walked away making my way back to my family and to an extremely pissed off Tucker. Tucker. I watched as she walked over to them. I can't believe that prick dying rsje the hint the other day. I'm so angry right now. "See. I told you he won't listen." Thomas said. I clenched my fists. "Oh he will." "Where's your sister going? And who is that boy smiling at her?" "He's one of Courtney’s friends, Jossiah." "He looks too old to be in her year. How old is that boy?" Oh s**t. Me and Thomas shared the look. "Answer me Tucker how old is that boy?" "He's sixteen, mom." "And he's hanging around your sister?" Unfortunately. "I guess, sometimes." "He either is or isn't?" "Like I said sometimes. Everyone calls him her guardian angel. No one dared to go anywhere near her when he's around." "That's true Mrs Mendez." Isaac pumped up, though I don't like the dude. I like Jossiah, even less. I've seen his angry glares towards the dude like he's trying to keep the prick away from Courtney in fear and would stop being his friend. I can't see it though they are so close you can put a pin between them. But then again that dweeb follows Courtney around like a lost puppy. I watch as Courtney says her goodbyes to them, hugging them. He hugs her longer than necessary and says something to her and looks directly over to us and stares straight at me. He grins, winks and kisses her cheek before pulling out of the hug. My fists are clenched. My teeth are gritting and I am seething. "Something has to be done about him, Tuck." Bryce says hissing angrily. I nodded my head agreeing he's gone way too far this time. Courtney walked back over to us and looked at me. "What's wrong Tucker?" "What's wrong? What's wrong." "Not now, not here, wait until you get home." I nodded in acknowledgement but continued. "You left your family to go to that butthhead?!" "Tucker enough! We'll discuss this at home. Let's go." "Yes mom." I sighed We all walked away and said our goodbyes to our friends before we all got into dad's car and he drove home. I was still vexed so I decided to keep my mouth shut. I had plenty to say but it would wait. I knew mom had a lot to say on the matter so I'd wait my turn. Courtney sat looking out the window saying nothing. Good I preferred the silence so I didn’t have to let out l how pissed I really was.
