Me and Jayden decided to wait for Issac; he's been sent to the deputy heads office, seen as Ashton Barraman is in with a very angry looking headmistress. We don’t really know what happened at lunch all we know is Simone found Issac kneeling beside a not so good Courtney, they didn’t go into to much detail as they were too shocked to speak the head had spoken to all three girls after the nurse had alerted the ambulance and she had to allow them into the school. She had a very disappointed look on her face, Ashton glared at us all angrily knowing he had been busted. We heard the commotion as Ashton came out of the headmistress office and what Bryce Anderson had said to him before we heard the crack and his body thud to the concerted floor, good he deserves it he’s always making a beeline for Courtney, harassing her and tormenting her. Bullying isn’t tolerated in this school or any other for a matter of fact. I hope he gets his butt thrown out of here no one liked him apart from his friends if they stay his friends after this. Issac slumped out of the deputy heads office. “Don’t feel bad Mr. Walker, you did all the right things to keep your friend safe from anything that could’ve been a potential danger to her.”
“Thanks Miss but that doesn’t make me feel any better. I could’ve stopped it from happening.”
“Maybe but don’t dwell on it Issac you done what you had to do you saved her life.”
“I really hope so, Miss.”
“I’ll see you after the weekend, Issac, take time to recover from what you and your friends have even through.”
“I will thank you, Miss.”
“My pleasure now run along, we all have homes to get back to.” She smirked.
He smiled wearily.
She was an ace deputy headmistress. She was so down to earth everyone liked her, I hope we get another like her when we get to night school but Theo’s highly doubtful.
“We all walked out. ‘This isn’t your fault Isaac.”
“Yes it is. If I could’ve stopped him.”
‘“He wouldn't have stopped tormenting her Issac you were there that’s all that counts.”
“Maybe.”
Jayden
God his face looked so heartbroken he looked like he had failed a maths test. He looked like he'd lost a family member. Everyone one knew how close he and Courtney were until all of this hit the pan. His dumb brother jsut had to rile him up we all knew he had a crush on Courtney hell, I think we all had. Bryce never hid his attraction towards her; he was like an overprotective boyfriend though he told Tucker they were friends we all knew different. He had a big crush on her. He would approach her when we were all old enough to date. I think Issac had lost that chance. If he hasn't he’s lucky she’s an Angel, a rose between many thorns. She's the most outgoing of us and I think that's what has us all hanging around with her. I think she is hiding her true self but one day she will show everyone who she really is and they won’t know what to say or do when she does,
“As much as it pains me to say Theo is right bro, this isn’t your fault if that douche if a brother and his best friend hadn’t told you to stay away you would’ve intervened, you and done the best thing by staying by her side through whatever she was going through.”
“It scared the Crap out of me guys. I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t leave her to find someone. I was scared of what would happen if I did.’”
“You did the right thing by her Issac.”
“So why do I feel like crap and why is he blaming me for it?”
“Bryce can be a jerk sometimes and he cares a little too much for Courtney. If you ask me he is just angry and blaming someone cause he wasn’t there to stop it and he’s venting his anger on you cause you were.”
“Maybe, but I could’ve stopped it.”
“You couldn't, Issac . We all know Asher, he doesn’t give a damn about who’s around as long as he gets results.” I hope that got through his thick skull that no matter if he intervened or not
Asher would’ve stopped at nothing to get to his target and bring it down.
He nodded. “You’re right.”
Finally.
“Let’s go home.”
He nodded and we all headed out of school heading home.
