Bryce I couldn’t believe who was running towards us it looked like no it couldn’t me Ava Tomlinson her brother was in the same school as mine. She huffedand puffed as she stopped holding her knees, “Come - quick - it’s - Courtney.” That’s all she had to say for me and Tucker to take off down the corridor. “Hey wait, you don’t know where she is.” Oh right. “I’ll show you okay.” “Okay.” We all walked quickly. “What happened to Courtney?” “We don’t know.” “What do you mean you don’t know?” “We weren’t there.” “So who was?” “Issac.” We both scowled. “What was he doing with her?” “She was lying on the ground, he was kneeling by her and had put her into the recovery position. She was out of it, her eyes were rolling.” We looked at each other damn she was having another attack. “Has anyone called for an ambulance?” “I don’t know, Simone went to get the nurse.” If he’s done this I’m going to kill him! “I’ll go ahead, they're just around the corner.” We nodded, we needed to have a little chat with Issac Walker. When we reached Courtney and her friends the paramedics were already there. “Courtney!” He shouted out. The paramedics turned and looked at Tucker. “Are you her brother?” “I am.” “Your mother needs to be contacted and you are allowed in the ambulance.” “Mom’s working right now she’s a nurse at the hospital.” He nodded. We best get going.” “What happened?” “She may have had a panic attack or an epeliptic fit we won’t know until we get her to the hospital and she gets tested.” He nodded and followed behind them down the corridor. I felt eyes burning into the back of my skull. “What did you do? You were told not to go anywhere near her.” “I didn't. I swear.” “So what happened?” “I found her like this.” “I’m not buying it.” “Blame your friend, not me. They were arguing.” “Which friend?” “Asher, who else?” “About what?” “He thought she was lying so she’d look good.” Not this s**t again, how many times did we have to tell him she wasn’t putting this on? “He called her a leech, her brother only pretended to care about her and he told her to break friends with you and your other friends.” My blood was boiling and more after the next words came out of his mouth. “He pushed her to the floor and kept going.” ‘And you didn’t think to stop him?’ “You told me to stay away, that's what I was doing.” “I’m blaming you if anything happens to her. “This wasn’t my fault i***t’ you told me to stay away! So I didn’t intervene.” “I’m still pining it on you until she is safe and well.” I said storming off I needed to n calm down before I started a fight that would cause us both to get expelled. Simone When me, Aria and Eva walked back into school I couldn’t believe what I was seeing Courtney was laying on the floor with Isaac kneeling by her. She looked like she was having a full blown epeleptic fit. “Oh my god, Courtney.” Issac looked up, he looked relieved. “Sim, get the nurse.” “What happened?” “Don’t ask questions get the nurse.” “Okay just don’t panic, I'll go get her, Eva and Aria stay with Isaac whilst I get the nurse.” They nodded, and i ran down the hall. I needed tov find the nurse quickly. I ran down the corridors to her room bursting in without knocking. ‘Mid. Sanders where are your manners ? You knock before entering.’ “I’m sorry nurse, but it’s Courtney Mendez.” “What’s working with her?” “I don’t know she’s with Issac Walker. She’s laying in the floor, her eyes are rolling and she’s convulsing.” She shot up off her chair grabbing her bag. “Show me where she is.” I nodded and we left her room and she followed me down the corridor to where Issac and Courtney were. “How long had she been like this?” “Five minutes, I guess.” “You need to do more than just guess young man.” “I don’t know alright!” He was agitated and upset. He was shaking. “Calm down young man.” He nodded. “I’m sorry.” She nodded, kneeling beside Courtney, rising her pause. She pushed her hand onto her pocket, flushing out her mobile calling for an ambulance. Soo the paramedics were running down the corridor, stepping by us asking questions and asked Issac if he was family? He replied, “No her brother is in year six, damn I never told him.” “It’s okay Issac I did.” Ava said. What a life saver. They continued to make observations as two silhouettes ran down the corridor and boy did they look mad. ‘Courtney.’ her brother shouted. The paramedics looked up and directly at Tucker. “Are you her brother?” “I am.” “Your mother needs to be contacted and you are allowed in the ambulance.’ “Mom’s working right now she’s a nurse at the hospital.” He nodded. “We best get going.” “What happened?” “She may have had a panic attack or an epeliptic fit, we won’t know until we get her to the hospital and she gets tested.” He nodded and followed behind them down the corridor. I saw Bryce look angrily armossac this wasn’t going to be good and I was right, “What did you do? You were told not to go anywhere near her.” He said angrily. “I didn't. I swear.” “So what happened?” “What did you do? You were told not to go anywhere near her. “I didn't. I swear.” “So what happened?” “I found her like this.” “I’m not buying it.” “Blame your friend, not me. They were arguing.” “Which friend?” “Asher who else?” “About what?” “He thought she was lying so she’d look good.” Not this s**t again, how many times did we have to tell him she wasn’t putting this on? “He called her a leech, her brother only pretended to care about her and he told her to break friends with you and your other friends.” My blood was boiling and more after the next words came out of his mouth. “He pushed her to the floor and kept going.” “And you didn’t think to stop him?” “You told me to stay away, that's what I was doing.” “I’m blaming you if anything happens to her.” ‘This wasn’t my fault i***t. You told me to stay away! So I didn’t intervene.” “I’m still pining it on you until she is safe and well.” He said, storming off. “It’s going to be okay Issac.” “No it’s not. I should’ve stopped it. I could’ve stopped it, instead I listened to them and stayed away till it was too late.” “It’s going to be okay Issac.” Eva I truly felt sorry for Issac this wasn’t his fault this was Ashton Barraman’s fault. When anything bad happened to Courtney it was always that jerk's fault. ‘This is isn't your fault Issac it’s that jerks, he’s always causing trouble for her one day it’s going to bite him right on the ass when she realises two can play his gsme and then he’ll be truly sorry for everything he’s done.’ “Eva is right Issac, this is all his fault. Bryce can’t blame you for this they told you to stay away from her and you did.” Simone said. “I should still have tired it before it got that far.” “You were there for her, that's what counts.” “I hope so.” ‘It will, Issac. This has his name written all over it and once they get Courtney’s side I’m sure he’ll have no friends to back him up or be by his side.’ I sure hoped my words were true. They needed to see Ashton for who he really is.”
