The Auction Room

Emily's POV "Jasmine, what's going on with him?" I rushed towards the door, my face scrunched up in worry. But Jasmine seemed calm, with a small smile on her face. "What will you do, rabbit wolf?" She asked, sounding calm. "Don't call me that again!" I shouted, trying to hit her, but Marcus grabbed my hand. He closed the door and moved deeper into the room, with Jasmine tightly in his arms. "How could you betray me like this? Rejecting me and choosing my sister instead? You're a fool, how could you..." I said, my voice shaking as I pointed at them. Jasmine glared at me, "no one wants you, Emily. You're not good enough for any Alpha. You're a disgrace, and we both know that!" Her mean words hurt me deeply. I felt angry, ashamed, and humiliated. I fought back tears, refusing to cry in front of her. She went back to Marcus, leaving me feeling more unwanted. Though Jasmine and me weren't close but I didn't expect this. She must have planned this with Marcus behind closed doors. No matter what I did, I was always wrong. I felt like crying, but I didn't want to give Jasmine the satisfaction, so I kept my emotions in check. Marcus sniffled, and I thought he was about to apologize, but instead, he gestured to the guard standing in the doorway. "Let her wait for me in that room. I didn't call her here to insult the future Luna of the pack." He said as the words struck me like a big blow. He dragged me out of the room, his grip too tight for me to escape. "Where are we going? What room?" I struggled and asked, but he didn't answer. I kept asking, but he stayed silent until I finally gave up. He was taking me to the Omega quarters, and I wondered if my mistress was angry with me again. He directed me to a different route, avoiding the usual path to my workplace in the Omega district. He suddenly shoved me into a room, shutting the door behind me without a word. I coughed, trying to compose myself in the stifling darkness. The room was cramped, filled with what felt like a jumble of haphazardly packed luggage. I stumbled upon the light switch by chance, bumping into it with my shoulder as I moved towards the door. As I flipped it on, the sudden brightness made me squint, and I shut my eyes reflexively before opening them again. My heart raced as I took in the unexpected sight of strangers in the room. I had thought I was surrounded by luggage, but instead, I found myself among people. But why was the light switch off in the first place? I gazed up at the door and saw the sign "Omega Pack Cell". The strangers glared at me with an annoying intensity. As I returned their stares, I noticed they all wore bra and panties only - same color, same style. There was something peculiar about them. I hiccuped, finding my voice. "I'm sorry about that," I said, reaching for the switch, but one of them spoke up with a firm voice. "Don't," she said, and continued chatting with her friends, leaving me to wonder why I was brought here. I must have been mistaken for someone else, I thought. Growing frustrated with the stifling air and the strange situation, I tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge - it was locked. I let out a deep sigh and turned to face the other girls, hoping to find some answers. "Excuse me," I said politely, but only one of them turned to face me. She approached me, her hands grasping mine gently, and asked, "How can I help you, beautiful?" For a brief moment, I felt a sense of safety with her, but as I recalled that they were strangers, I quickly regained my composure and kept my expression neutral. "I need the keys to this room. I need to leave," I said, but her expression turned dark and menacing. She laughed wickedly, releasing my hands, and sneered, "No one ends up here by accident, little girl." I whispered, "What's going on?" but she ignored me, returning to her friends. I continued trying to open the door, despite the noise, desperate to escape. Wasn't the Alpha's rejection and replacement enough? Did I have to endure this too? The door finally opened, but only a c***k, before someone on the other side pulled it shut again. I backed away, my heart racing, as a dominant presence filled the room. My fear spiked as the Alpha entered, his commanding aura overwhelming. What did he want now? He closed the door behind him, leaning against it, and the other girls fell silent, their attention fixed on him. His eyes narrowed at the girls, and he nodded curtly, as if conveying a message. Then, his gaze locked onto mine, intense and commanding. I raised an eyebrow, confusion etched on my face, as I took a step back, trying to create more distance between us. But he closed the gap in an instant, his voice booming, his words a vehement order. "Strip!" He yelled, his voice echoing through the room. I gasped, struggling to breathe as he pinned me against the wall, his grip constricting my neck. He needed me to join the girls, to dress like them, but I refused. "No," I mustered enough courage to retort. He repeated his command, "Strip!" his eyes gleaming with terror, his Alpha tone commanding obedience. Before I could say Jack Robinson, I had already stripped in front of him. Though I felt shy and embarrassed by doing so, I felt more compelled to obey. He gulped as he stared at me intensely, his gaze tracing from my feet up to my forehead. He nodded his head quickly and whispered to himself, "good budget." I shivered, still uncertain about what was happening. He stood in the doorway, waving to someone in the distance. I couldn't see who it was, but it was clear he was waiting for a signal or confirmation. After a few minutes, he nodded, seemingly receiving the approval he sought. He turned back to face us, and the girls promptly lined up and marched out of the room. I felt a chill run down my spine as I hesitantly joined the line, my lips trembling with fear. I had never dressed so revealingly in public before. As we approached a doorway, our eyes were suddenly bound with a blindfold, and we were led by guards to an unknown destination. I could sense that we were ascending a steep incline as my heart raced with anticipation. When we were finally told to open our eyes, I was met with a sight that made me gasp in shock, and I barely managed to stifle a scream. Alphas from different packs sat in high seats, while a large crowd filled the hall. We were about to be sold! I was still reeling from this shock when another bombshell hit: would any Alpha even want to bid on me?
