Chapter 16

Jannelliza's pov:

I'm currently covered in sweat while Kim and Marcial, we are currently practicing our hand to hand combat skill because we couldn't just base on our empire weapon because it has its own limitations.

Kim attacked me again so I dodged all of his punch and kick, Kim have stronger legs which made him a little dangerous when he starts kicking. I have him a strong blow to his stomach which made him fall on his knees. I quickly ran towards Marcial direction and landed continues blow but he blocked it all, Marcial quickly tried to punch me but I was able to do a judo throw.

"Fvck!" I shouted.

Kim is now behind me and locking me, Marcial stood up and about to attack me but I was able to kick his face and able to escaped the lock of Kim. I quickly do a cartwheel away from them and prepare for their attack, Kim and Marcial both run to my place so I alerted myself to be ready for their attacks. Kim and Marcial both attack me with different type of offense, all I could do is to defend myself. After I saw an opening I quickly landed a strong kick on Kim's abdomen and a strong punch on Marcial's face, both of them fall to the ground which made me smirked and locking both of them to an armbar.

"We give up!" Kim shouted.

I let them both go while holding their arm, I went out and saw Morrigan smiling at me.

"Done training?" he asked.

"Kakatapos lang," sagot ko rito.

Ngumiti naman ito at inabot sa'kin ang towel ko, pinunasan ko naman ang sarili ko pero pansin ko naman na naka-tingin sa katawan ko si Morrigan. Umiling naman ako dahil sa reaksyon nito matapos tignan ang bewang ko, binaba ko namab ang towel ko bago ako mag-salita.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"11 o'clock," he responded.

I held his hand before we both went out of the arena, while walking I suddenly bump into someone with a new face inside the empire.

"Who are you?" I asked with a serious tone.

"Good afternoon Gen. Jannelliza, it's my pleasure to see you. Ako nga pala si Patrick John Reyes bagong scientist for the empire robotic cop," pakilala nito sa sarili.

Mag-sasalita pa sana si Morrigan pero hinila ko na ito palayo kay Patrick dahil pakiramdam ko ay may mali sa lalakeng 'yun, hindi ko naman napansin na nalagpasan na namin ang opisina ni Dra. Ylreveb hanggang sa kinalabit na lang ako ni Morrigan.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

I just took a deep breath before I answered his question. "I'm not sure, but something about that guy is wrong."

"Kumalma ka muna Jannelliza, tara kumain muna tayo." Hila ni Morrigan sa kamay ko papasok ng opisina ni Dra. Ylreveb. "Just sit and relax."

Bigla naman akong nag-laway matapos kong maamoy ang ulam na dala ni Morrigan, this man really knows how to make delicious food.

"Our lunch for today is garlic butter asparagus with shrimps, pork barbecue and lastly is blended fruits for drinks," he proudly said.

I can't prevent myself from eating alot because his dish really captures my taste buds, after our lunch I felt so full so I just stay sitted for a while.

"How was the food?" Morrigan asked.

"It was heavenly," I responded while rubbing my tummy.

There is something about Morrigan that brings out a different version of me, a version of me who's very childish and loves attention.

"Thank you for making such a delicious meal for us Morrigan," I said with a genuine smile on my face.

Bigla naman itong napatigil bago ko napansin na unti-unting namumula ang pisngi nito, mag-sasalita pa sana ito pero bigla na lamang bumukas ang pinto at sumilip si Kris Ann.

"General, we have a major problem," Kris Ann said while catching her breath.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Sumusugod satin ngayon ang mga halimaw na nakalaban ng mga rebelde," sagot nito sa tanong ko.

"Go Jannelliza," Morrigan said with a smile.

I quickly run and grab Kris Ann and stole someone else's motorcycle arrive faster at the empires gate.

"Nasaan sila Marcial?" tanong ko kay Kris Ann.

"Nasa harapan na sila ngayon ng empire at nakikipaglaban," sagot nito.

"Any civilian that has been injured?" I asked again.

"Luckily none, but they are able to destroy 15 units of the empire robotic cops," Kris Ann responded.

We both arrived at the gate of the empire and saw 20 monster but what caught my eyes is Marcial currently fighting a 10 foot monster,

I quickly pulled out my Mercury sword and s***h it to every monster near me. I quickly controlled some metals and hit the 10 foot monster.

"I'll handle this Marcial," I said with a serious tone.

The Monster suddenly looked at me before releasing a loud scream, I was so shocked when the monster suddenly became furious and attack me furiously.

"Damn!" I madly said when a punch almost hit me.

All I could do is face it head to head, the monster quickly punch me but I was able to avoid it and cut its arm. I control some metal around me and liquify it to make it sharp and stab it the monster, I gathered the energy from my mercury sword before releasing a red wave that chopped it in half.

"Everything is cleared now Gen. Jannelliza." Marcial saluted at me.

"How did those monsters entered our empire?" I asked.

"Inakyat nila ang pader ng empire para makapasok," sagot ni Kris Ann.

"Mukang delikado tayo dahil sa mga peste na 'yun," singit ni Marc.

"Everyone head back to the arena," I said with a serious tone.

Pag-balik namin ay agad akong umupo.

"This is becoming out of control, the Rebellions and The Empire are having one enemy. We must stop this madness as soon as possible," I firmly said.

"We can't make any move General, specially we don't even know where those monsters came from," Lia responded.

Sasagot sana ako pero biglang pumasok si Morrigan.

"Guys follow me quickly," Morrigan said.

We just stood up and followed him to Dra. Ylreveb's office, Morrigan quickly tap on his computer and an image suddenly appeard.

"What's that?" I asked.

"I was able to find the location of those monsters," he explained. "Those monster came from that abandoned train tunnel."

"So we finally know the location of those monster," Marcial uttered with a smile.

"Ang galing mo tol," ngiting singit ni Kurtm

"Ano plano natin General Jannelliza?" tanong ni Kris Ann.

"We have to prepare since that place might have a lot of monster so we need to destroy that place as soon as possible since those monster are not a joke," I explained. "Those creatures are still human and we must give them justice by looking for the scientist who turned them into a monster."

"Is it possible that we can turn them back?" Lia asked.

"According to Dr. Situada, it's very impossible for that to happen," Joan sadly explained.

"Then what will we do?" she asked.

"We must destroy them all." I stood up and leave them behind.

Kinuyum ko naman ang kamao ko dahil sa galit, anong klase ng hayop ang gagawa nito para lang gumawa ng panibagong kagaya ko.

"Jannelliza," a man's voice suddenly said.

Tumingin naman ako rito at si Dr. Anderson pala ito.

"Good afternoon Dr. Anderson," I politely said.

Pansin ko naman na may hawak itong box kaya nag tanong ako.

"Ano 'yan Dr. Anderson?" tanong ko rito.

"Mga ilang gamit ko na na iwan sa opisina, mawawalan na rin ako ng stress dahil wala na ako sa Empire." Tingin nito sa box.

Mag-sasalita pa sana ako pero may biglang sumigaw sa likod ko.

"Dr. Anderson!" Sigaw nito

Pag-tingin ko ay si Patrick ito.

"Dr. Reyes?" Dr. Anderson asked.

"Yes Dr. Anderson," he said while smiling.

Dr. Anderson got close to Dr. Reyes and put his hand on Patrick's shoulder. "You'll be one of the new scientist to help my robotic cops to improve, don't disappoint me young man."

"I won't disappoint you Dr. Anderson, specially we are talking about your legacy," Patrick said with a smile on his lips.

At that moment I felt like I'm being suffocated by the two man infront of me so I just decided to walk away and prepare myself for making a plan on destroying the place of those monsters.
