Chapter 17

Ivan's pov:

I'm currently cleaning my scythe when Amo suddenly approached me.

"Are you busy Ivan?" she asked.

"Hindi naman Amo," sagot ko.

She took a deep breath before giving me a folder, binuksan ko naman ito at binasa.

"That's Dra. Telaverde, she's a former empire scientist who studied artificial parts of the human body. Our resource was able to get some details about her illegal transaction that she sells babies heart for half a million," Amo explained.

"What do you want me to do Amo?" I asked.

"I want you to eliminate her as soon as possible, she keeps on stealing babies on the hospital for her own purposes," Amo said while massaging her temples.

"Where can I find her?" I asked.

"She'll be meeting a foreign buyer tonight, I want you to eliminate her." Amo said while walking.

Lumabas naman din ako at pinuntahan si Arjhay, ngumiti naman bigla si Arjhay ng makita ko ito kaya lumapit ako rito.

"Hon," he softly whispered.

A little smile suddenly formed in my lips when he let his head rest on my belly.

"This feels nice," he muffled.

"Anong kasalanan ginawa mo?" tanong ko rito.

"Wala Hon," sagot ni Arjhay at tumingin sa'kin.

Sinuklay ko naman ang buhok nito habang nakatingin sa'kin.

"Narinig kong may binigay na trabaho sa'yo si Amo," saad nito.

"Illegal transactions," I shortly replied.

"Alam kong kaya mo ang misyon mo ngayon pero gusto kong doblehin mo ang pag-iingat," sagot naman nito.

"I love you," I sincerely said while looking directly at his eyes.

I can see the shock on a Arjhay's expression before he suddenly stood up and pulled me closer till our lips met.

"You're making me so happy Ivan," he said. "I wanna live with you till the rest of our lives and build a happy home with you."

"That will happen soon, trust me Arjhay." I brush his hair using my finger.

Humilay naman ito sa'kin at bigla akong kinandong, ngumisi naman ito at sinubsob ang muka sa dibdib ko.

"Can you do me a favor Arjhay?" I asked.

"Oo naman," sagot nito.

"Bantayan mo muna si Mama mamaya habang wala ako," hiling ko rito.

Tumango naman si Arjhay sa hiling ko rito bago nito isandal muli ang muka sa dibdib ko.

Third person's pov:

Sumapit ang gabi at ngayon ay handa na si Ivan na gawin ang utos ni Amo, inabot naman sa kanya ni Rea ang maskara na sinusuot nito upang hindi ito makilala.

"Darating dito si Arjhay Ma para samahan ka habang nasa misyon ako," saad ni Ivan.

"Basta uuwi ka ng ligtas ay kampante na ako anak," ngiting wika ni Rea.

Humalik naman si Ivan sa noo ng isa bago lumabas, saktong pag-labas ni Ivan ay s'ya namang pag dating ni Arjhay.

"Bantayan mo maigi si Mama, babalik ako agad." Hawak ni Ivan sa kamay ni Arjhay.

Hinawakan naman ni Arjhay ang kamay ni Ivan bago ito halikan.

"Comeback home," Arjhay said.

Tumango naman naman si Ivan bago halikan ang labi ni Arjhay, mabilis sumakay si Ivan sa motor at mabilis itong pinaharurot. Lumipas ang ilang oras ay nakatating na s'ya malapit sa lugar kung saan mangyayari ang palitan at inilabas ang isang binocular, tahimik na nag-mamasid si Ivan sa paligid hanggang sumapit ang alas-otso at dumating na ang mga hinihintay nito.

"Dala mo ba ang puso?" Tanong ng lalake.

"Eto." Abot ni Dra. Telaverde sa puso.

"How can I be sure that this isn't artificial heart," the man asked.

Ngumiti naman si Dra. Telaverda at binuksan ang compartment nito, si Ivan naman ay tila nabato sa pwesto n'ya matapos ibato ni Dra. Telaverda ang bangkay ng isang sangol. Ivan suddenly felt a strong rage inside of him but he controlled himself, kinuha naman ni Dra. Telaverde ang pera at nakipag-kamay. Matapos makipagkamay ni Dra.Telaverde ay mabilis pinaputukan ni Ivan ang binti nito kaya ito natumba, mabilis bumaba si Ivan at sumugod sa mga gwardya ng lalake.

"Damn it!" The man angrily said.

Mabilis sinalag ni Ivan gamit ang Venus Scythe n'ya ang sandata ng ilang kalaban nito, si Dra. Telaverde naman ay unti-unting gumagapang palayo rito.

"You will not escape me Dra. Telaverde!" Ivan angrily screamed.

Ivan used his scythe as both offense and defense so he was able enough to block every attack from the guards of the man, the man on the other hand is slowly smiling while looking at Ivan who's current fighting his soldiers.

"So you're the leader of the Rebellions that use the Heavenly weapon called Venus Scythe," the man said while looking at Ivan.

Ivan quickly dodge every bullets from his enemy until he was able to beheaded the man, Ivan slowly approached Dra. Telaverde.

"Please let me live, you can have my money just let me live." Dra. Telaverde throwed the money on Ivan's face.

Dra. Telaverde wasn't able to see the movement of Ivan's hand until she realized that Ivan cutted her left arm.

"Ahhhh!" she shrieked in terror.

"Anong klaseng tao ka at nagawa mong pumatay ng mga sanggol para lang sa pera!" Galit na sigaw ni Ivan.

"Parang awa mo na, pakawalan mo na ako please." Hawak ni Dra. Telaverde sa binti ni Ivan.

Pero mabilis muling hinati ni Ivan ang kamay nito.

"Ahhh!" Hiyaw nito sa sakit na tila isang uod na kumikislot.

Inilabas naman ni Ivan ang isang asin at binato sa dumudugong putol na braso ni Dra. Telaverde.

Muli naman sumigaw ng malakas ang doktora ngunit wala itong magawa.

"Ito ay para sa mga batang pinatay mo ng walang awa," huling saad ni Ivan bago putulin ang ulo nito.

Tumingin naman si Ivan sa likod n'ya at nakita n'ya ang lalakeng kumuha sa puso ng isang sanggol.

"Ano ba ang mapapala mo sa pagbili ng puso ng isang inusenteng sanggol!" Galit na sigaw ni Ivan.

"Im using those heart till as a paint of my house, I'm burning it till it's like an ashes and mix it up with some colors and use the heart as a paint," the man explained.

Ivan suddenly see red after what the man said, all he know is to eliminate the guy infront of him.

"I'm going to kill you," Ivan said.

"You can't kill me, I'm Trino Valmeada. I'm the most paid painter in the world," the man arrogantly said.

Ang gloves nito ay tila naging isang spada habang ang isa ay shield, mabilis sinugod ni Trino si Ivan pero mabilis din itong sinalag ni Ivan. Mabilis at magaling makipaglaban si Trino kaya medyo nahirapan humanap ng opening si Ivan, Ivan isn't just a part of Rebellion but he's also a known assassin.

Ivan's pov:

I quickly do tripled backflip after he tried to stab me, Trino smirked at me while standing still.

"If I'm not mistake, you are the leader of the Rebellions," he started. "But why do you look so weak."

"You just don't deserve to see my skills as a professional assassin," I mockingly said.

Ngumisi naman ako dahil mukang na galit na ito, mabilis itong sumugod sa'kin kaya naman pinasabog ko ang smoke bomb ko kaya napuno ng usok ang paligid namin, mabilis ang naging kilos ko dahil gamit ko na rin ang ability ko na telekinesis.

"Asan ka!" Sigaw nito na may galit na tono.

Pero mabilis ko itong sinugatan sa binti kaya natumba ito, he tried to fight but I know he can't see me. Ngumisi naman ako matapos ko itong sugatan ng sugatan, tinignan ng masama ng lalake habang hawak ang isang braso nito na malalim ang sugat.

"What kind of a monster are you?" Trino asked.

My smirked suddenly disappeared, I slowly took off my mask and reveals my face.

"I'm a monster made by my very own father," I said with a blank expression and a blank tone.

Muka naman itong na takot kaya umatras pero mabilis ang kilos ko at pinutol ko ang isang binti nito.

"Ahhhh tngina!" Malakas na hiyaw nito sa sakit.

"My father made me a monster!" I madly screamed.

Kita ko naman lalo ang takot sa mata nito kaya lalo akong napangisi, I can see that he is scared to die as he tried to get away from me.

"I'm a monster who lives inside the empire before, now look at what my own father did to me!" I madly screamed as I slowly float in the air.

"Who are you?" Trino asked with a scared facial expression.

I slowly float towards him and after I got near him, I quickly gave "I am Ivan Situada, son of Jonito Situada but he turned me into a fvcking monster."

"Dr. Jonito Situada? The father of General. Jannelliza Situada?" he asked.

I just gave him an evil smile before I cut off his head, lalakad sana ako palapit dito pero nakita ko ang itsura ko sa sasakyan nito. Punong-puno ng dugo ang suot ko, ang mata ko naman ay puno ng galit at sakit. So this is what I look like everytime I hear someone calling me a monster, I literally became a monster.

"hays." Bugtong hininga ko.

Mabilis akong tumalikod at iniwan ang nga bangkay nila, after an hour I finally arrive back at the base. Pag-baba ko ng motor ay nakita ko agad si Arjhay na nasa hamba ng pintuan, ngumiti naman ito sa'kin bago lumapit.

"Tulog na si Tita Rea, maliko ka muna." Hawak nito sa kamay ko.

Tumango naman ako at walang buhoy na naligo, matapos kong maligo ay lumabas ako ng banyo para mag-bihis.

"Let me Hon," Arjhay said before taking the towel off my hand.

Tahimik lamang ako habang pinupunasan nito ang basa kong ulo, matapos ay tumingin ito sa'kin bago ipag-dikit ang noo namin.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Why do I feel like I am a monster?" I asked back.

Instead of answering my question he suddenly pulled me close into a tight and warm hug, I suddenly felt my tears began to fall while I'm locked into his arms.

Arjhay looked at me before planting a small kiss on my lips. "You're not a monster Ivan, never call yourself a monster because it hurts me seeing you like that. You are never a monster Ivan, you're my light and I'll fight for you even if it means that I'll be sacrificing my life."

"Thank you Arjhay," I sincerely said.

"No Ivan, thank you for loving me and I promise that I'll love you till I can," Arjhay responded.

I help his chin and kissed his lips before giving him a soft smile. "I love you too Arjhay, thank you."

At that very moment I knew that I have to live, I have to live for my mom and this man in front of me. I can't be weak specially I'm the one giving hope to everyone, I'll never wanna see them lose their smile because of me.
