Chapter 18

Jannelliza's pov:

Seryoso ako ngayon nakatingin sa bangkay nila Dra. Telaverde and Trino Valmaeda, dalawang kilala sa loob at labas ng empire.

"Sinong tao ang gagawa nito?" tanong ni Joan.

"Who or What?" I asked with a serious tone.

"You mean the monster might be the one behind all of this?" Joan asked.

"I'm not sure but it might be them or the Rebellion," I responded.

Lumapit naman sa'min si Kris Ann na may hawak na cube, inside the cub has a some kind of stone that looks familiar to me.

"What's that?" Joan asked.

"I found this bullet on Dra. Telaverde's leg, this is a Venus Scythe bullet. I was able to recognize this easily specially I'm the one who got shot by the same bullet." Kris Ann explained.

"So the leader of the Rebellion might be the one behind all of these," I said while walking.

"General!" Malakas na sigaw ni Lia.

Lumapit naman kami rito at tinignan ang katawan ni Trino, kinuha naman ni Lia ang isang papel at pinabasa sa'kin.

"THIS IS REVENGE," I read.

"Mukang ang iniisip ng mga rebelde na tayo ang may gawa ng mga halimaw," saad ni Kris Ann.

"Then we need to destroy that place as soon as possible, if we don't make a move it only means that we're slowly letting go of preventing a war from happening," I explained.

Agad kaming bumalik sa arena at nakita ko agad si Morrigan kasama sila Marcial na hawak ang mga bomba.

"Everything is set now General." Sumaludong bungad sa'kin ni Kurt.

"Then prepare the jet," sagot ko.

Tumango naman ito at umalis, agad naman akong lumapit kay Morrigan kaya tumingin ito sa'kin.

I looked at him eye to eye before picking up his gun. "Take care of yourself while I'm gone Morrigan, I can feel that we have a spy inside the empire."

"Kayo dapat ang mag-ingat dahil hindi natin sigurado kung anong mga halimaw ang nagawa nila," sagot ni Morrigan.

Ngumiti naman ako rito bago tapikin ang braso nito, binigyan naman ako ng malisyosang ngiti nila Kris Ann pero inirapan ko sila.

Third person's pov:

Matapos sumakay nila Jannelliza sa jet ay agad silang lumipad.

"There's no movement so far General," Kris Ann reported.

Jannelliza just nod at her before looking at the bombs.

"Kim and Marcial I want you to plant all of this bomb inside and outside of that place while we fight all the monsters." jannelliza explained.

"5 minute before we arrive at our destination," Kurt said from the speaker.

Tumayo naman si Jannelliza naman si Jannelliza at tumingin sa mga kasama n'ya.

"Prepare yourself and remember our training on the strategy of landing," Jannelliza announced while she opens the door of the jet.

Strategy of landing is where they practice to land on the ground without any parachute or anything that can slow their landing, all they could do is to use their weapon to land.

Jannelliza take the lead by jumping out of the jet, Jannelliza manipulate a small metal ball from her side and made it into a disk which she used to help her slowly fall down.

Jannelliza's pov:

Matapos kong makaapak sa lupa ay ginamit ko ang disk na sinakyan ko para hatiin sa gitna ang isang halimaw na malapit sa'kin.

"Finally the ground," Kim said with energetic tone.

Kim and Marcial are both holding a bomb on their hand before I gave them a sign to star setting up the bombs, mabilis naman akong tumingin kila a Kris Ann at tumango.

Third person's pov:

Mabilis sinugatan ni Lia ang isang halimaw kaya naging yelo ito, nagulat naman sila ng makita ang 5 halimaw ba may malaking tenga.

"I'll distract them while you destroy them," Joan ordered.

Tumango naman si Kris Ann at Lia sa sinabi nito, lumakad naman palapit si Jaon dito kasabay ang pag-ilaw ng bilog na nasa gitna ng choker nya.

"Wahhh!" Joan screamed with a high frequency that causes the monster near them to feel their ears to be in pain while alered the other monsters.

Lia quickly charged with her ice sword and turn some of the monster into ice while Kris Ann used the end of her whip to stab the mosters.

Jannelliza on the other hand took the different path and walking like how she walked inside the empire, a monster suddenly jumped from Jannelliza's back back the monster suddenly turned into smaller pieces.

"Tsk,"

Jannelliza is now covered with 50 pieces of hair thin metals which she uses to protect herself, she arrive at a some kind of lab and saw a picture of her while using her ability.

"Tsk, that bastard will die in my hands," Jannelliza angrily said.

Bigla s'yang napatigil nang makarinig s'ya ng tila atungal ng isang hayop. Tumingin si Jannelliza sa likod n'ya at nakita ang isang nilalang na nasa 10 talampakan, napansin din ni Jannelliza na dalawa ang ulo nito habang may hawak na axe.

"Now this is gonna be fun," Jannelliza said.

The giant monster suddenly attacked Jannelliza but Jannelliza was quick enough to avoid it, Jannelliza tried to use her ability to melt down the axe but she just noticed that it was actually made from rock which makes her pull our her Mercury sword. Sumugod ulit ang halimaw kay Jannelliza kaya n'ya ito sinalag pero hindi n'ya inaasahan ang lakas nito kaya tumalsik s'ya, bahagyang ngumiwi si Jannelliza dahil sa sakit ng likod n'ya pero mabilis parin n'yang kinontrol ang 4 na bakal na lamesa at binato sa halimaw. The monster quickly stood up and tried to land a hit on Jannelliza but she covered herself again with a fast spinning metal thread, nagulat bigla si Jannelliza nang may tumalon na halimaw sa likod n'ya at nahiwa ito.

"Damn it," Jannelliza whispered.

There is almost 40 monster around her and they are all jumping to her, at this rate she new that that those monsters could break her thread shield and she got no choice but to destroy them all.

Jannelliza's pov:

Naputol na nga lahat ng threads ko kaya mabilis ko itong pinulupot sa mga halimaw sa paligid ko, tumingin naman ako sa higanteng halimaw dahil binato nito sa'kin ang isang bakal na lamesa pero mabilis ko itong binato pabalik.

"I'm gonna destroy you," I said with a serious tone.

I pulled out my sword and use all my force to break the axe of the monster which I successfully did but I got thrown away after it landed a hit on me, dumura naman ako ng dugo dahil sa lakas ng atake nito.

"Raaaghh!" Galit na sigaw ng halimaw.

Pinulot ko naman ulit ang mercury sword ko at sumugod dito, sinubukan ako nitong suntukin pero buong pwersa kong hiniwa ang kamay nito. Mabilis akong sumugod muli dito at ginamit ang mga bilog kong bakal at tila ginamit ito na parang bala at pinatama rito, tuluyan u***g natumba kaya nakahinga ako ng maluwag.

"General, natanin na ni Marcial at Kim lahat ng Bomba." Sumaludong sabi ni Kurt.

"Then let's get out of here," I ordered.

Mabilis kaming tumakbo at na kasabay na rin namin sila Kris Ann, mabilis akong tumango kay Kris Ann kasabay nito ang sunod-sunod na pag-sabog.

"Finally General and guys," ngiting bati ni Kim matapos namin lumabas.

I put my sword on my side before looking at them. "The mission was a success, we no longer have a problem to those monsters anymore."

Lahat naman kami ngayon ay sumakay na sa Jet at bumalik na ng empire, agad ko naman nakita si Morrigan at ang lawak ng ngiti nito habang naka-tingin sa'kin. I don't know what's happening to me but I just realized that I run into his arms and hugged him, this is a little weird for me but I must confess that hugging him makes me feel safe.

"EHEM General. Jannelliza may dapat ba kaming malaman?" tanong bigla ni Kris Ann habang nakangiti.

Mabilis naman ako lumayo kay Morrigan at tinignan ng masama si Kris Ann, imbis sagutin ay hinila ko na lang si Morrigan papunta sa motor ko.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" tanong ni Morrigan.

"Kumapit kana lang," ngiting sagot ko.

Mabilis kong pinaandar ang motor ko papunta sa paborito kong kainan, we arrive at the Marcla restaurant which is the best place for me for a delicious pares.

"Gusto kitang ilibre," ngiting saad ko bago kaladkarin ito papasok sa loob.

Binati naman ako ng may ari dahil kilala ako nito.

"Anong order n'yo general?" tanong ni Manang Judith na s'yang may ari nitong kainan.

"Dalawang Beef pares ho at tig isang kanin, tapos dalawang order na rin ng Lomi," sagot ko.

Ngumiti naman ito at umalis.

"I never knew that we have a place like this inside the empire," Morrigan said.

"This place if my favorite since my little brother loves the food here," I explained.

I suddenly felt my tummy rumbling after I smelled the beef pares and the freshly cooked garlic rice.

"Let's eat," I said with a smile.

Morrigan and I both dig in and all the flavor suddenly explode inside my mouth.

"Grabe ang sarap," biglang sabi ni Morrigan.

Pareho kaming naging magana kumain at hindi namin inaasahan na nakatatlong kanin kami, pareho kaming napasandal ni Morrigan sa upuan dahil sa sobrang dami namin nakain.

"Grabe ang sarap talaga," ngiting sabi nito.

"Tama ka," sagot ko rito.

Dumating naman si Manang Judith at binaba sa harap namin ang dalawa ni Morrigan ang dalawang baso ng tubig at softdrinks, ininom naman namin ito ni Morrigan bago ko ito ayain umalis.

"Teka hindi pa tayo bayad," saad hi Morrigan.

"Hindi na kailangan mag-bayad ni General, sa totoo lamang eh s'ya ang bumili nitong lupa kaya libre na ang pagkain ninyo," ngiting sabi ni Manang Judith.

Ngumiti naman ako rito ay nag-paalam.

"Grabe ikaw pala may ari nun," saad ni Morrigan.

"Binili ko 'yan dahil paborito iyan ni Ivan, umaasa ako na pag-balik nila ni Mommy ay kakain ulit kami rito sa paboritong lugar ni Ivan. That's the main reason why i bought this place," I said while looking at the restaurant.

"I can't blame your brother, the food here is heavenly," Morrigan agreed.

"Tara na," aya ko rito.

Tumango naman ito at sumakay sa likuran ko, Naka-ngiti akong nag-maneho pabalik sa Empire dahil alam ko sa mga oras nito ay may iba na akong nararamdamang tuwa kapagkasama si Morrigan.

"I hope that you feel the same way," I whispered.
