I have been worried about Kaylie since the moment I watched her run out of the school to her car. I wish I could have gone with her because the look on her face when talking to Claire suggested that she was stressed and worried about something. I wish she would have allowed me to come with her, so I could have made sure she was okay. I want to protect her, but I can’t do that if I am not there. But she wanted me to let everyone know that she had to leave, and I needed to make sure that everyone got home safely. If I didn’t do that, all I would do is cause her more stress.
I know she would have wanted our friends and me to have fun at the dance, so that is what we all tried to do. However, it was weird without Kaylie. She is someone who always wants to have fun, so
