Kaylie’s POV
The rest of the game was fine. We ended up winning 27 to 20. After the game, I said goodbye to Emma and Claire before heading home with Jake since Austin went home with Meghan and Logan went home with Amanda. The car ride home with Jake was a little awkward. The two of us did not talk to each other and just listened to the radio, but there was this weird tension between us the whole ride home. Jake has a tendency of putting his hand on my knee when he is driving, but last night I noticed that he was very hesitant before he did it. Like he was unsure if he should or not. And when we got back home, we hugged goodbye, but when we pulled apart it was like neither one of us knew what to do next, like should we kiss, fist pump, or say bye right away. It was this awkward
