Violet woke up when someone knocked on her car's window. She took off her shades and look out. And there's Abby standing outside with a scowl on her face, both of her hands were placed on her hips. Violet opened the car window and look at her questioningly . "I'm done shopping." Abby said and point the shopping cart that's full of groceries beside her. "So could you please unlock the trunk so I can put these inside?" She added and crossed her arms, waiting for Violet to open the car's trunk. Violet casually took her key fob on the top of the dashboard and press the button for the car's trunk. Abby sighed and said thank you before pushing the cart behind the car. She then put the bags inside as careful as she could. While Violet is just waiting on the driver seat. Don't get her wrong. Violet is the most reliable Alpha you would know. Atleast that what her packs thought of her. But not in times of groceries shopping. She just hate buying groceries. It consumed her time especially if you have a long list of needed to buy. She's not patient enough to do that. She doesn't even tag along when her mother went grocery shopping before. She was thankful that she had helpers to do that choir. But now, because Mary is sick and her daughters have classes on a normal school, Abby was the one who volunteered to do it. And since she didn't get to work, Abby convinced her to drive her to the town center. Dragged her to go actually. Promising her that she don't need to help her buy groceries and she can just drive around the town where she wanted and will go back when Abby finishes and call her. She actually did drive around but because she doesn't have any particular place to go she just drive back to the grocery shop and wait. Until she slept. "Thank you for the help." Abby said sarcastically when she entered and sat on the passenger seat. Violet frowned at her and started the engine. "You said and even promise I will not help." She said. Driving them out on the parking lot. "Yes I did. But you can atleast help me put them inside." Abby replied, crossing her arms as their car is running on the road lane now. "But you look like you can handle it for yourself." Abby immediately turned, raising her eyebrow at her bestfriend. "Oh Really? You know you should be thanking me I dragged you here with me or else you'll lose your mind staying in the mansion." She added. "Thank you?" Violet said , nonchalantly. Abby laugh humorlessly. "Oh Violet don't rub your frustrations to me." She said she turns to look towards the road. "Who said I'm frustrated? Do i look like it to you?" Violet replied in a calm tone. Abby just sighed and said. "I know you too well, Vee. You're my bestfriend even before you became our Alpha. In case you forgot." She then turned and look at Violet while crossing her arms. The latter went silenced. Abby was right she knows her too well enough that she could tell how she really felt. Other friends would love that their Bestfriend knew them well but for Violet, she kinda hate it. She really can't hide anything from Abby. But luckily though, Abby don't pry when it gets too personal for her. They both remained silent as they drive back home when Abby suddenly said stop the car. "What? Why?" Violet asked her. "I want to drink coffee." Abby replied. "We have it at home. You can have some when we get there." Violet ignored her and just drive. Wanting to go home now. But unfortunately, the car that's ahead of them stop when an old lady's bag of oranges fell and scattered to the road as she walks on the side of the road. "Lucky me." Abby said, grinning at her before she open the car's door and get outside. And Violet just sighed. Instead to go ahead she turned around and look for place to park near the coffee shop where she knew Abby would buy. They have the best coffees in town and Abby loved it. She just sighed and crossed her arms when she park her car beside the road and wait for her Bestfriend for the second time. She hates waiting for too long but because it's her bestfriend, she doesn't have a choice. It took a while when Abby finally got out from the shop with a cups of coffee in her hands and look for their car. 'I'm here.' Violet said using their link while looking at her from the rearview mirror. Abby instantly turned her head on the right when she heard it. She saw the car so she walk towards it. "Thank you for waiting." she said smiling when she got inside. She then gave the extra cup to Violet. The latter just look at her with a frowned and said. "I don't want it." "Just take it." Abby insisted, sighing. Violet was about to take the coffee from Abby's when her nose suddenly catched up a scent that's been driving her crazy since yesterday. She turned to look to where it was. And right there, just got out from the coffee shop where Abby went in is no other than her mate.
