"Does it mean that you're moving out?" Skye carefully asked to her friend. "Uhm.. yeah." She heard Dom said from the other line. "I'm sorry EL. I know I said that you can stay here till you find another job but I really need to go back home. My mother needs me." Dom added solemnly. Skye just shut her eyes for moment as she think thoroughly. On the day she broke up with Chloe, she immediately move out on their apartment and asked Dom to stay at her place for a while before she could find another job. The break up was so sudden and that time she just lost her job and her remaining money that she saved was not enough to rent her another place. She struggled as she kept it a secret to Maddison. She didn't even thought about asking her for help since she doesn't want to be a burden. Till now, her sister doesn't even know that she was basically homeless and jobless. Despite them having an argument on the other day, it doesn't convinced her to tell her sister about it. And asking help to her father was never an option either. She would rather live and sleep in the streets than ask him. And even though she was very ashamed to ask Dom that time, she just swallowed her pride and still ask her friend. She told herself that it was okay. It was normal. That sometimes life could be suck. And she told herself too that she was old enough to solved her own problems. That she can find a job that had a better and kind boss. Not like her previous b***h boss who always saw her little mistakes and make a big deal about it. But this sudden move just ruined her plan. And she can't complain about it since it's not her place. She should be thankful instead that her friend let her stay. "It's okay Dom." Skye chuckled, trying to hide her despair. "It's your mom. She's most important." She added. She suddenly remembered her mom. If she was in Dom's situation, she would do the same, in a heartbeat. "Thank you by the way." She continued with a sad smile. "You're always welcome, EL." Dom replied. Her friend always call her that. El, from her middle name Ellery. She said it was cool that way. Just like the nickname of one of the main character in the series entitled the stranger things. Which is Dom's favorite series. "Don't worry by the way, cause the last rent I paid is still up for three weeks. You're stuff can stay here. I just hope you're back by then or they'll forcefully take these out." Dom continued. Skye let out a relieved sighed. Thank God she wouldn't have to go back to the city and move her stuff by herself. And the wedding is two weeks from now so she still had a week before she move out if she head home straight after the wedding. "Oh my, thank you Dom. You're really an angel." She replied, sighing. She heard Dom chuckled. "I know. And you're always welcome." It brought a smile to Skye's face as her friend said it. Skye's felt lucky to have her. Even though Dom is seven years older than her, they understand each other. "So. It's seems like I will not gonna see you when you get back since I'll be moving in two days." Dom continued. "Yeah, sadly it is." Skye replied, a little heartbroken since her friend will leave for good. She started to question her life why everybody left her. But then she erased the thought before it consumed her mind. "Thank God I won't see your annoying face anymore." Dom said and they both laugh on her joke. They both went silent for a moment before Dom continued. "But don't be sad okay? You can call me anytime you want, you know that right?" She said seriously. "Yeah, yeah. I know that." Skye replied, still wearing a smile that didn't reached her eyes. There's a shuffle sound on the other line for about a few seconds. It nearly took one full minute before Dom got back on the line again. "Hey EL, Im sorry but I need to go to work. I need to hang up now." She said afterwards. "Hey it's okay..Goodbye, Dom." Skye replied. Dom said her goodbye as well before they both ended the call. Skye put her phone down beside her and slumped her body back on the bed and spread her arms out. Then she closed her eyes for a moment and sighed. She remained on that position when she was distracted by a knock on her door. She heard the click of the knob and when she opened her eyes and raised her head, an ever glowing Maddison was already standing on her slightly opened door. "Hey." Maddison said as she hold the knob. Not fully letting herself entered the room. "Hey." Skye replied before she slowly sat up. Gently rubbing her right eye as she do so. "Do you have an agenda for today?" Maddison asked her. Skye think for a while but ended up to nothing actually. "No. The squad are all busy on their personal lives so.." she added with a shrugged. "Good then." Maddison quickly said with a smile. "Cause I needed you to go with me. But that if you want to go." She continued. "I'll go." Skye immediately said not making time for her sister to wait. She took away her blanket and she put on her slippers before she stood up. " I'll just take a shower. " she added. She was about to go inside her bathroom when she heard Maddison laugh. She stop halfway in the middle and stared at Maddison confusingly. "Seriously?" Maddison said as she chuckles. "What?" Skye replied back innocently. Her older sister just shook her head lightly. "You didn't even know where are we going but you're up? Isn't it strange?" Her sister said with suspicious stares but she had a teasing smile. Skye just rolled her eyes. "I just want to go out on this room. Nothing strange about that." she shrugged. She didn't let Maddison to replied back as she quickly get inside the bathroom. Yes, she wanted to go out on her room and do something. But the truth is, she just wanted to bond with her sister before she gets married. ----------------------------------------------------------- "Why don't you just convinced her to live with us in the mansion?" Violet calmly said, yet she felt a little frustrated inside as she turns her car to the parking lot of the town's biggest grocery store. Abbigail sighed and rolled her eyes indirectly at her bestfriend. "You know I always say that to her. But her answers were always a "No"." She replied. It was late morning, nearly two hours before twelve noon and the two Bestfriend were about to do grocery shopping. Well, mostly the red head woman since the brunette just half-heartedly go with her when her Bestfriend forced her to go out in the comfort of her office. If it wasn't for Constance, Abby's eighty years old grandmother and the oldest member of her pack, she will not agreed to go. "Why don't you try again." Violet suggested before she carefully parks her car on an empty lot. "I surrender." Abby replied raising her two hands up before she looked at her bestfriend who just turn off the engine. "You know, why don't we just leave her be. You know Nana, she will rather choose to live in Granpop's house than live with us in the mansion. Since it was the last thing he left for her. And besides, I don't worry that much cause Ezra and Ida were there. They always look for her." She added, referring to his cousin and her wife who live next door to her grandmother. They have three children named Adeline, Wyatt and Sadie, where all of them are her students from class. When Abby done talking and Violet didn't even say anything back and just crossed her arms, the red head glanced at the grocery store before she looked back at her. "Let's go?" She asked. Violet just sighed and grab her earphones that was neatly placed on her dashboard. "I'll just wait here till you're done." She replied with lack of enthusiasm. Abby grimaced. "You sound like a boring husband." She teased her but the brunette doesn't even affected at all as she plug the earphones on her ears and search for a good music on her phone. Abby stared at her intently and crossed her arms. "You know what, I started to feel sorry for Skye." She said and Violet's thumb stop midway from scrolling on her phone as soon as she heard her mate's name. Even her name had that effect on her. "Cause if she really ended up with you, she'll do all the grocery shoppings and choirs in your house." Abby continued. She noticed Violet's reaction when she brought up her mate but she didn't stop talking. "And I wish she knew how to cook too cause it looks like she'll be the one to cook for the both of you." A blush instantly crept on Violet's cheeks on the thought of her and Skye being together. It doesn't even came to her mind because she kept resisting her and and as well as the thought of her. But she admits it, she would love to be with her. To be claimed her as her Luna, to be her wife and to live with her. The thought alone cause a somersault to her stomach but she felt delighted. Violet cut off her thoughts when she remembered her companion was still inside the car with her. She subtly cleared her throat. "Why would I let her do that if I can just hired a maid for us." She replied as she continue scrolling. "Ugh." Abby grimaced again, uncrossing her arms. "I swear Emmet is way better than you on that aspect, and to think of it he's a man." She added staring unhappily on her Bestfriend. But the brunette just gave her a half shrugged. "Whatever." Abby said, rolling her eyes for a second time. She turn to her right and opened the car door. But she instantly stop in her tracks when she remembered something. Well, it's not really important to talk about. It's just a silly thought. But she's definitely sure Violet will not be enjoyed by it. If she doesn't want to go with her then she will at least not gonna let her wait there peacefully. Abbigail tried to hide her evil smile before she gently shut the door closed. She heard Violet sighed before she can fully faced her again. "What is it?" Violet asked. A little frustrated and still searching for a good music on her phone. It looks like she's unable to find one since her thought was invaded by an auburn haired girl. Thanks to her Bestfriend. "I'm just thinking..." Abby started. "The what?" The brunette asked in a rushed, wanting to end what she was about to say in an instant. "That even you're not good at doing choirs maybe you'll get better on different things," Abby continued while trying to remain serious. "Like in bed." She said casually with a shrugged. Violet head turned to her in whiplash that looks like she's gonna break her neck. "What the f**k Abby?!" She exclaimed with a frustrated and shocked reaction. And Abby wanted to laugh when she saw her face but she managed to remain calmed. She's not done yet. "What?" She asked innocently. "It's just a thought. I'm not saying you're not great in bed. And I'm not also saying that you're great since I don't know, but if you're already great in bed before you met her then I swear you'll be greater if you will be mated with her and she will be on your bed every night." Abby rambled on. "Shut the f**k up Abby!" Violet half shouted. She forcefully took the earphones on her ears and hold unto the steering wheel as she closed her eyes hard to stop the thoughts that starting to form on her mind. Dirty thoughts to be exact. "But I'm done talking." Abby casually said despite of Violet annoyance to her. "I hate to talk about your s*x life to be honest, but as a friend who already found her mate, I'll give you a headstart." She continued and all the while was so amused on Violet's reaction. She was gripping the steering wheel hard enough that her knuckles turned white and her breathing is uneven. Her nose is flaring and she let out a frustrated sigh as she tried to calm her nerves. "You will surely feel what I felt. I'm sure you will have the urge to devour her as soon as you'll had a taste of her for the first time. And after that , believe me.." Abby stop for a moment for a better effect before she continued. "You will always wanted to make sure to give her a best s*x of her life every chance you get." She said, letting her words out on her mouth rather slowly and teasingly that Violet suddenly slumped her hands on the steering wheel and faced her red headed friend. "If you won't stop talking I swear I'll kick you out on my car and leave you here alone!" Violet frustratedly said as she growled at her bestfriend. The color of her eyes changes and her fangs showed. But despite of it, Abby just laugh at her, unable to hold it anymore. She really love to annoyed her Bestfriend. Although she's not always successful at annoying her most of the time, but she's glad she is now. "Okay, okay. I'll stop." She said, trying to stop herself from laughing. That's when Violet slowly calm herself down. Her sharp teeth retreated back and her eyes got back to normal. She comb back her hair with her hand and let out a shaky breath. She stared ahead and crossed her arms. She's merely calm now but Abby knew she was raging inside. "But admit it. You did think about it, didn't you?" Abby carefully and teasingly asked. "Those amber eyes, red locks, luscious lips and sexy bod..." Abby's sentence was cut off when Violet suddenly attack her. But not in a harmful way but to tickle her instead. Abbigail yelp. "Alright ! Alright ! I'm gonna head out." She said between her giggles as she tried to block Violet's attacks using her hands. That's what the brunette do everytime her friend won't stop talking. And it always work. The red head opened the car in a rushed and quickly got out when Violet stop. But before she goes away, she bent down and looked at Violet as she holds the door. "I just want to remind you by the way." Abby smirked. "Red heads are so darn irresistible babe. So, good luck." She added with a teasing smile and a wink. She heard Abby muttered, "enjoy waiting." before she shut the car door. The brunette gave her the middle finger even though she's gone. Then after that, she face palmed and took a deep breath as she closed her eyes for a moment trying to calm her raging hormones.
