The brunette's face remain stoic as she awkwardly gave a small wave to the little girl that was smiling at her through the window of the thirty seater bus she just rode. Her tensed shoulder relax when the bus closed it's door and finally left. It was only two in the afternoon but it feels like twelve midnight as Violet quietly stood beside the empty roads of Southern Vale. The gushed of wind was quiet cold since winter is coming in for two months. There's no even a car that's passing by but both of it were the least of her concern. When Violet was certained that her mate was far enough for her to follow, she took a steps forward and crosses the road. She took the path that led through the woods where her mate went at. Just basically following her scent. When Skye left at the diner, Violet thought she would eventually go home. But she had doubts when her mate made a stop on a convenient store and when she got out, she had a bottle of vodka in her hands. Violet followed her but distancing herself so the girl wouldn't see her. She had second thoughts if she should follow to the bus. Skye might see her in such close proximity buy she tried her luck. When the girl got on the bus, she followed suit. She kept her head low to avoid her face to be seen. Successfully passing through where Skye sat and look for an empty seat on the back and she unfortunately sat beside an over energetic little girl who talked and asked her nonstop. It took only seven minutes when she finally made a stop. She perked her eyebrow when she ended up on Harold's private place just beside the lake. Skye was already inside and she can hear her dragging a chair. The gate was opened but unlocked. Violet wanted to go inside but stop herself. She opted to stood and leaned on a big tree. Patiently wait there for how long would it take her mate to go out and got home. She doesn't have a choice. It's impossible to stop herself to worry about her. One of the hard things about a werewolf that had found it's mate is that they had an urge to protect them. Them being protective and territorial are their nature. It's hard for them too cause they seem to feel what their mate felt. Violet's ear perked when she heard Skye rummaging inside the cabin. She heard some drawers that being open then eventually stop when her mate finally found what she was looking for. The brunette sighed when she heard a sound of liquid being poured. She shook her head. This is quiet early for a drink. And a hard drink to be exact. This would surely take long but she doesn't mind. She'll do anything to make her safe and besides, her mate's scent make her well being relax.. ----------------------------------------------------------- "Good day, Martha." Vanessa greeted the woman as soon as she went on their kitchen. She stood by the door and turned her head towards the couple who were sitting at the kitchen's table among the different cakes in front of them. "Hi there Maddison." She greeted Skye's sister with the same smile she had as she entered the house. "Lev." She said afterwards, giving him a wink. "Oh hi, Vanessa." The older woman replied back as she wiped her hands on her red apron. She left the sink and walk towards the table. "We just finished tasting cakes. Come here and have some." She added before she took a plate on the table. "Ah, no need Martha. It's okay. I'm still full." Vanessa replied, placing her hand on her stomach. She then looked behind her trying to find a particular auburn haired girl. She had a scrunched on her forehead when she turned back around. "Where's Skye? I thought she's going with you?" She asked directly to Maddison who was quietly eating her cake with satisfaction. Maddison abruptly stop eating and wipe her lip with a tissue before she replied. "She changed her mind." She half shrugged. Doesn't have an intention to share the real reason why. The ash brown haired girl frowned. Skye texted her that she will be at the Pattersons for a cake tasting but she didn't received a message from her that she wouldn't come. She didn't mind calling her since she had said that she will be at the patternsons after she's done running some errands for her mom. "She stayed at your house?" She curiously asked. "Mmm no. She's at the town center." Maddison replied with a small smile on her face. "What is she doing there?" She asked in an instant. Which causes Levi's eyebrow to subtly raised. "She said she wanted to have a coffee." Maddison said in a shrugged. "And maybe wandering around too." She added. "All by herself?" She asked again as she took out her phone on her jean's pocket. She wonder why Skye didn't even inform her. "Yeah." She heard Maddison reply before she dialed Skye's number on her phone. She placed the phone on her ear and waited for the other line to answer. But it was directed to voicemail. She dialed again and for three times but it went all into voicemail. "Her phone is off." She quietly and curiously said as she looked at her phone. She then turned to Maddison. "Ahmm." Maddison didn't know what to say. She wouldn't be surprised if Skye turned her phone off. After having an argument with Frank, she would likely to that. "Maybe her phone's battery is off." Levi suddenly reasoned out in behalf of hemis lover. "Why dear? Do you have plans?" Martha then asked her. Vanessa lifted her head after a glanced from her phone. She look at them and noticed that's their attention was all on her. Waiting for her answer. "Nothing. I'm gonna head out." She said with a convincing smile before she walk outside the house. The three just silently look at each other.
