Skye touched her wrist where Violet held her. She's quite surprised how strong her grip was that she can still feel the pain on it. Even her strongest grip can't even compare to Violet's. She wonder if the hot tempered woman always go at the gym and work out. A smile appeared on her lips when she remembered how angry Violet was when scolding her. She admits that she liked it. It just meant she was concerned about her and Skye can't stop herself blushing from the thought. Especially how Violet took her hand gently when she gave her keys back. Skye shook her head a little with a frown on her face. That woman is something, in one moment she's so furious and then in an instant, she became a meek sheep. Although she's hard to understand sometimes, Skye didn't really mind it. She had experienced those same episode before with her ex girlfriend everytime when she had her period. If she can deal with Chloe's mood swings then she thinks she can deal with Violet too. In fact, she wanted to lengthen their conversation s***h argument earlier if the latter just didn't leave. She even wanted to follow her but the call from Vanessa stop her from her tracks. The gang were looking for her and they seem to be worried. So instead of following the gorgeous brunette, she went back to her friends. When Vanessa asked her where did she came from, her only answer was that she looked for her keys because she dropped them. Luckily, they believed her and didn't ask any more questions. Skye yawned. Her eyelids wanted to closed on it's own but her brain can't stop functioning. She sighed and closed her eyes the tried to think about something that will calm her mind. And the first thing that pop up on her head was a pair of bluish grey eyes. She imagined those eyes were gently looking at her. A smiled appeared on her face before she completely succumbed to sleep. ------------------------------------------------------------ "Rise and shine sleepyhead!" Skye groaned when a cheerful voice of Maddison woke her up. Eyes still close, she turned away from the blinding lights that came from her window when her sister opened the curtains. "Hey, my little sister. It's time to wake up now. You've been sleeping too long." Maddison added before she went to sit on her bed and touched her arm. She gently shake her to wake her up and the young woman groaned for a second time. "Give me some time please. I'm still sleepy." Skye complained, mumbling on her pillow. "Tsk, I already gave you an extra time. It's almost three hours." Maddison replied before she crossed her arms. "Did you forget you promised me we'll go before lunch time? It's already twelve noon Skye. If I had known that you wouldn't wake up on time, I wouldn't have let you go to the fair last night." Her older sister added shaking her head and Skye have no choice but to groaned again as she slowly sat up. "Okay, okay." She mumbled before she gently rubbed her eyes. Maddison thought she will leave her bed but the red head just rested both of her heads on the bed, eyes still closed as she sat. Instead of scolding her little sister, she just chuckled at her cuteness. She carefully move towards her and suddenly pressed her side where it's ticklish. "Ah!" The unprepared Skye yelped. To her defense, she automatically move away from her she ended up falling beside her bed, butt first. Maddison's laughter filled the whole room. She crawled on the bed and peered at her. She received an angry look from Skye as she do so. "Are you fully awake now?" She asked and chuckled after. Skye wanted to complain but she just combed her hair with her hand and pouted. "You're so mean." She said. She have noticed that her sister was a little extra happy today and she don't want to ruin that mood. "Don't act cute and go take a shower now." Maddison chuckled and get out of the bed. "We'll eat lunch at the Town center before we go to the shop okay?" She added before she walked towards the door. " Make it fast." she ordered and she came out the room, closing the door. Skye lazily stood up and to her bathroom. She washed her face on the sink and turned to looked at the mirror after. Today was Maddison's wedding dress fitting. She's not really excited about it. It just meant that the wedding is near. Her sister will be tied to her soon to be husband. She sighed. She knew she should be happy for Maddison. But she can't help to be sad. Marriages changes everything ,her father being one of the proof. ------------------------------------------------------- "Sweetie, don't run fast okay? I don't want you to hurt yourself again." Violet heard Abby said to Sophia. They were currently outside the hallway. It's been an hour passed when they finished eating lunch and the little wanted to play with the kids outside. "Okay, mommy." Sophia replied with a nod . She then gave her Mom some kisses before she went downstairs. Violet heard Abby's footsteps. She's coming over to her office room. But she still didn't bother to open her eyes. Eventhough her Bestfriend entered the room. "You know if you're tired and sleepy I'll just remind you that you have your own room to sleep in. Your bed is more comfortable than that couch " Abby started when she arrived, staring with disapproval look at her Alpha who was sitting in the couch, legs and arms crossed, and eyes close. But Violet wasn't actually sleeping. She was just trying to relax. Which she couldn't do last night because of what happened. She can managed her anger towards Jackson but not the guilt she felt on unintentionally hurting her mate. She crossed beyond her supposedly normal strength , it will surely bruised. Jackson deserved to that, not her. "Are you coming tomorrow night?" Her line of thoughts were cut off when Abby speaks. Violet opened her eyes and look at her. She is now sitting on the couch in front of her. "Going where?" She replied with a frown. Abbigail just sighed and slowly shook her head. "I guess you didn't read the letter." She replied as she stood up and walked to her Bestfriend's desk. She took the white envelope on top of it and put it on the coffee table in front of Violet and the latter took it. She then opened it and read. It's a birthday invitation card from John Gregg. The town's mayor and a colleague of her father.
