Chapter 35 (Part 1): Her Luna

It's been almost half an hour ago when her sister asked to go to the comfort room and Maddison was restless on her seat. She kept looking at the door where Skye came out. Maddison wonder why she's taking so long to get back on their table. She knew she doesn't need to worry about her cause her sister is an adult now but she can't help it.

"Hey." Levi hold her hand that she kept rubbing on her lap. "What's the matter?" He asked.

"Skye. She's not here yet." She answered right away , eyes still looking at the door.

"Don't worry, Hon. Even if trouble finds her, Violet is here, she won't let anything happen to Skye." He calmly replied before he started looking around the hall, trying to find a certain brunette. "I actually don't see Violet here, maybe she followed Skye. She'll be alright." He continued with a smile on his face, trying to give assurance to his lover.

Maddison sighed as she held Levi's hand. She understands very well how protective Levi's kind to their mate. They will do anything just to keep them safe but it doesn't mean that she should have just rely on Violet. As Skye's older sister, she wanted to protect her sister too.

"I'll go find her." Levi suggested when Maddison still kept worrying. He stood up on his seat.

"I'll go with you." Maddison said afterwards and she stood up too, still holding on to Levi's hand.

"No, you don't need to. Just wait here and I'll look for her."

"No way I'm just gonna sit here all alone, Hun. Please let me go with you." Maddison insisted. Levi uttered an "okay" with a nod at her. Hand in hand, they walked out on the hall together.

Even the night seemed to be quite outside, Violet can still heard the music and the people inside. But what she can mostly hear was the now calm rhythm of a heartbeat that was coming from the person who was currently sitting beside her.

Their arms touched as Skye's head lie on Violet's shoulder and her hand which had been trembling earlier was holding onto her. They both sat at the in a gazebo at the center of the garden. No other people there besides them.

Violet almost smirked at herself. Just an hour ago she was avoiding Skye but now she's clinging to her like a leech. She let inner wolf and as well as her self to enjoy their moment now as she replayed on her mind what just happened.

Half an hour ago......

As soon as Violet came out to the hallway, she immediately saw how Skye ran towards the woman who's one of the guest. She stopped on her tracks with a confused look as she witnessed the scene infront of her. Her mate held the woman gently on both of her arms. She even asked if she's okay but the woman didn't replied when a young boy suddenly ran towards them.

She did not know what was happening to the woman because the boy's back was covering her line of view. She just saw Skye backed away from them as the boy shouted for help. The woman held to her son when she started to lose her balance. A few guest ran towards to them but Violet doesn't mind what's happening in front of her. Her attention was fixed on the auburn haired girl who was silently watching beside them.

Violet frowned as she watched her every move. She started to get worry when she heard her heart beats fast. She kept stepping back as she held her chest trying to catch her breath. Violet didn't know what she saw or what happened but as soon as she saw Skye ran away, she didn't think through and just followed her.

She calmly walked fast. The other guest were helping the ill woman when she passed through them and she saw the blood on her hand. Violet was smart enough to know the reason why Skye left and what is happening to her. She walked faster she's like running. She opened the door where she saw Skye came out.

Her eyes immediately scanned the whole place trying to find her. She saw her at the left side of the garden , trying to calm herself down. Violet was hesitant, she didn't know if she will just stand there and let her mate calm herself down or she will go and help her.

The latter won when she saw Skye fall to her knees. Helplessly gripping her chest hard she looked like she would passed out. Violet immediately crouched down in front of her, She saw a tear fell down on her mate's eye before she eventually whimpered and trembled.

Her hands automatically held both of her face. "Hey, hey look at me." She softly said and Skye's tearful eyes opened and looked at her.

"It's okay, you can get through this. Just breath in and out." She added trying to breath with her but Skye doesn't seemed to be listening to her as tears continued to fall in her frantic eyes. Her hands that's gripping her chest grab both of her hands and hold them tightly. That's when she did what she thought could help her, she hugged her tight.

"Don't be scared, I'm here for you. It's okay." She muttered as she softly caresses her head with her hand. She felt Skye's trembling body calm down a bit as she kept saying those words to her. If only the thing that was bothering her mate was a person, she wouldn't think twice and knock them off in an instance, but her mate's enemy was the thought in her mind. She can't defend and saved her, all she can do was be there for her and make her feel that she's not alone.

She pulled backed from the embrace and checked her. Her trembling completely subsided, but the tears in her eyes won't stop falling, Violet saw the extreme sadness on her eyes as she stared at her. She couldn't bear seeing her mate on that state so she did the first thing that came to her mind. She kissed her.
