"Excuse me." Maddison politely called one of the guards outside the hallway. "Have you seen a young woman wearing a light brown suit? Her hair was auburn and she's as tall as me." she asked him as soon as he faced them.
The guard thought for a moment before he replied. "No ma'am." He said , shaking his head before returned talking to one of the guest.
Maddison sighed and walked towards another guard while Levi approached the two passing female guests but they haven't seen Skye too.
"We're here." A voice caught Levi's attention as he was about to asked another guest. He frowned as he concentrated his hearing to where it came from. "Outside the garden." The familiar voice added. It was Violet.
Levi immediately called Maddison who was still talking to the guard and held her arm gently. "I know where she is." He said and nod his head at the far end of the hallway.
The clueless Maddison walked with him through the hallway. Levi opened the exit door as soon as they reached it. The cold night air greeted them when they came out.
They scanned the whole place and Maddison was the first one who saw Skye sitting in the gazebo with someone. Confusion etched on her face for a second when that someone she recognized was Violet.
She felt something seemed wrong when she saw her little sister leaning her head on Violet's shoulder. She hurriedly walked to them and Levi followed her.
Violet looked up and saw a confused Maddison standing in front of them while staring at sleeping Skye.
"Skye." She softly exclaimed and crouched down a bit, not minding if her old rose dress will be ruined. She tucked away Skye's hair and there she saw her close puffy eyes. Her face seemed wet from the tears and her nose was red. She look vulnerable. Like a child whose been crying all day.
"Skye, what happened?" She worriedly asked, caressing her sister's cheeks. Skye woke up from her sister's touch and she looked at her confusingly.
"Maddie." She said in a weak voice before she slowly stood up straight.
"Why did you cry? What happened?" Maddison held her sister's arms and turned to look at Violet's direction when her sister said nothing.
"I think she just had a panic attack." Violet replied.
"W-what?" Maddison didn't know what to say. The extreme worries she felt make her unable to grasp the information. Just half an hour ago her sister was more than fine and now she's weak and vulnerable.
"I think you should go home now. She needs to rest and don't let her leave her alone, she needed you by her side." Violet said with a hint of softness on her voice. Gone was the cold for just a moment. Maddison didn't asked further and just faced her sister.
"Come on Skye, let's go home , okay?" She said before she stood up together with Skye with the help of Violet who was gently holding her left arm.
"I'll get the car." Levi who was quiet throughout the conversation hurriedly rushed to get Maddison's car. He let the two woman to accompany her soon to be sister in law.
Skye was still quiet when they finally get into her car. She immediately leaned her head to the window and closed her eyes. Maddison turned to Violet was still standing outside the car.
"Aren't you coming with us?" She asked. She knew how worried Violet too even she doesn't say it, her actions says otherwise. But she just took a final glanced at Skye and shook her head.
"Just take care of her. " her short replied.
Maddison nodded at her before she closed the door and they eventually go.
Violet quietly standing on her spot while staring at their retreating car. Different emotions invaded her as she stood there. Worrying about Skye, longing for her touch, a deep urge to protect her both physically and emotionally. And the one thing that she's been trying to avoid. To love her. And with that, she's not seeing Skye as a mere human anymore, she's seeing her as her lover.

Maddison closed the window on Skye's room before she went to sit on her bed carefully. They were both on their night clothes now. Skye was peacefully lying on her side. She's awake but she's still silent and seemed to have a far away look in her eyes. It's like she's there physically but mentally not.
"Do you feel better now?" Maddison softly said as she tucked Skye's hair on her ear. But for like a hundred time, she didn't a response. She took a breath breath and caress her sister's cheek.
"I don't know what exactly happened. But I want you to know that I'm always here for you." She continued.
Despite of wanting to know what causes or triggered Skye to have panic attack, she didn't dared to ask her further or even called Violet. She just want her to be fine cause she can't bear seeing her sister like this. So fragile. The last time she had seen her in the same state was when their mother died. Maddison haven't had time to mourn for her lost cause she needed to be strong for her little sister. But that doesn't mean she didn't cried.
Maddison took the thought out of her mind before she will make herself cry. She turned to her sister and smiled at her.
"Go to sleep now, okay? I'll leave our door open so if you needed something you can woke me up. Goodnight Kayee." Maddison said and kissed Skye's forehead afterwards. She muttered an I love you before she pulled back. She didn't care how old Skye now, she still her baby sister.
Maddison lifted the blanket to cover her body and carefully stood up from the bed. But she stopped on her tracks when a hand grab her fore arm. She turned to Skye with a confused look.
"Can you sleep here with me tonight?" she asked. Her voice was still weak and she gave Maddison a pleading look.
"Of course." she replied with a small smile on her face. "I'll just close the door and turn the lights off." she added and stood up when Skye nodded.
She didn't need to tell Levi, she knew that he was probably listening to them. He was concerned about Skye too.
Skye make room for Maddison on her bed and the latter lie down beside her. They shares on the blanket and Skye immediately hugged her and leaned her head to her shoulder.
"Good night, Maddie. I love you too." She heard Skye muttered before she completely succumbed to sleep.

Violet was enjoying her glass of wine as she stared at the couple below who just got home. Abby and Emmett gracefully transformed to their human form when they reached the mansion. They just had a night run and Violet don't want to know what else they did. They were laughing at each other when they fully shifted as they grab their clothes that were scattered on the ground. She grimaced, they didn't even fold those and placed on somewhere.
Abby whispered some naughty words to her husband and that's Violet's cue to leave on the window and just sat on her office's couch.
She poured herself another wine and drank almost half of it on the glass. The longing for Skye was still strong and she chose to drink, hoping that it will somehow lessen. But she knew she was just fooling herself cause her drunk self just misses her more. Even if Skye doesn't do anything, she was still down bad for her. And she can't help it.
A familiar face suddenly came to her thoughts. Vittoria.
The human whom she had love before. A love she thought was real but only causes her pain. She's the main reason why Violet kept rejecting Skye. She didn't want the history to repeat itself, she might lose her sanity if it happens again. But then again, her inner wolf kept insisting the reality to her that, yes, Vittoria and Skye were both humans, but they were completely different.
Vittoria was just a part of her past. An unfortunate love she had. A distraction to her life that came but eventually gone. A risk she took that might ruined her life. And it indeed ruined her.
But Skye..
Skye is her everything.
Her mate.
Her Luna.
