Tchaikovsky's the nutcracker classical music filled the entire room as all the guests communicate to each other. They all look fancy wearing their elegant dresses and suits but Skye didn't know any of them. So instead of talking to other guest, Skye chose to stand beside the long table where there were almost twenty different dishes placed in a golden chafing dish with hanging lids. The foods looked satisfyingly delicious. Skye wanted to try some of it but the party hasn't formally started yet so she only ate some desserts from the other table. She already had two macaroons, four peanut butter bars, one slice of Oreo mousse cake and now she's currently eating her third macaroons. As she ate her dessert, she glanced at the far left corner of the wide convention room near the small stage. Where Levi and her sister Maddison, talking to two middle aged man, one with dark grey suit and one in a black suit. They've been talking to them since they have arrived here approximately thirty five minutes ago. She can't relate about what they were talking about so she left them. Skye sighed when she just finished her third and last macaroons. She's starting to get bored waiting for the party to start. She wanted to leave the place but the reason to why she was here has not yet arrived. She wondered it he will go or not. However, even if he didn't come, she still had no choice but to stay here and accompany his sister. Since she doesn't have her own ride. Her eyes roam around the whole room. It looks s like the place was large enough to accompany a hundred people. Everything in this room looks classy. From the main entrance door which they put a gold curtain on it tied in each side with a black carpet and black and gold balloons on each side. There's also a two photographer waiting there capturing the beauty of every guest as they entered the room. Skye was a bit surprised when they took a picture of her cause she wasn't prepared but she didn't mind the result. As for the table setting, every table consists of seven seats and what makes it elegant was the chandelier centerpiece. Some of the table were fully occupied some were still empty. Skye checking the entire place when she took the last bite of macaroons on her hand. She turned around and face the table again. She scanned the whole different dessert treats that displayed in front of her. Trying to find something else that would fancy her. The chocolate crinkle cookies caught her attention and she immediately took one of it. As she do so, a hand collided on hers as the person tried to get one too. "Oh I'm sorry." She heard the man said. She turned to her right and looked at him. "Ladies first." he added with a polite smile on his face. The man was wearing a solid maroon suit and his hairstyle is in faux hawk. He looks fine actually but what caught her attention was him not what he wears. Even though his hair was not the usual one hich is longer, she still recognized him. Skye's thought paused for a while she faced the person she had been waiting for. Shaw Miller. "Miller." She uttered, almost surprised that he was here beside her. Since when did he came, she didn't know but atleast he was already here. "Ah, you recognized me. I thought no one will. I tried so hard to hide myself, I even sacrifice my hair." he jokingly said with a chuckle as he pointed her head. "You came." was her reply. She almost punch herself for a stupid reply. She made it too obvious that she was waiting for him. Luckily, he looked like he didn't take it seriously and just smirked. "Of course, I will. The Gregg's are one of my major sponsor." he said before he grab a piece of crinkles. "You want some?" he offered but Skye just shook her head. Skye didn't know what to say, she maybe looked stupidly fan girling over him, but who wouldn't? He's the number one best motorcycle road racer in the world. He already won five times in the world's motorcycling road race, consecutively. And his only twenty seven years old. It's like the man was born to be a racer, no one can beat him. "Do you know John Gregg personally?" he suddenly asked her after he took a bite. And Skye collected herself and replied. "No. Actually I just know of him yesterday. I didn't even saw his face. My sister just literally dragged me here." she said and it made him laugh a little while trying to chew the dessert on his mouth. "Really?" he asked. "What made you agreed to go here then? I bet you don't know any of the guest. That's why you're here enjoying the desserts rather than communicating to others, right? Correct me if I'm wrong." he added. She was about to tell him that she was a fan but his attention was not on her anymore. His eyes were fixed on the entrance door. Skye frowned and she turned to look at where he is looking at. And there she saw among the flashing lights of the camera shots was a woman who was wearing an elegant long red tube dress. Even though Skye's was on the far end of the room, she can clearly recognized her. "Violet."
