Brie’s P.O.V

I was sitting here listening to this crazy b***h and I think that she honestly thought I was believing all the bullshit that was coming out of her mouth, but I could tell that she was lying just by looking at her. Every time she lied her nose would flare up and it was so funny that I was having to try my hardest not to laugh out loud at her. I kept watching and listening to her talk as she came out with all kinds of rubbish about the king, but I already knew that Flower and her had a thing for him and I already knew that they had both slept with him because I smelled their scents when I first came into his bedroom and saw the images of them f*****g on the bed, that’s why we got a new bed. I don’t know how I was able to smell their scents because I hadn’t shifted then, I thought to myself, but my thoughts were interrupted when Mona spoke again.

“My queen, when did you find out what you are and why did you run from your home to end up in this town?” Mona asked, catching me off guard. I thought about it for a few minutes and then decided to just tell her the truth, after all, she couldn’t use it against me.

“I left my home because the people there kept things from me and lied about other things to me. I don’t like being lied to or lied about, so I left. I found out what I was when a seer came to me and told me, but it was a scary thing. When I actually shifted into all of them at once, my body gave out on me, but I’m here now and I’m not going anywhere.” I replied and made sure to look her in the eyes when I said the last part, making her understand that I truly wasn’t going anywhere. She asked me a few more questions after that and I answered them honestly before we went into the theatre room. We sat there and eventually decided to watch Fried Green Tomatoes, which I had never seen before. I thought it was a movie about tomatoes, but I was so wrong and when the movie was over I wanted to watch it again, but we watched another movie called Eragon, which was pretty good. By the time the movie finished it was getting pretty late and I wanted to see what Depp was doing, so I called an end to our day.

“Thanks for the ladies day, I enjoyed it.” Mona said, smiling and then went outside to start her patrol, while I went to Depp’s office. I knocked on the door and walked inside, but I didn;t realise that he was in a meeting.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” I said and turned to leave, but then he called me back.

“Brie, come here, honey, you don’t have to leave. This is Alpha Chris and his Luna, Jenny. They heard that I had found my mate and came here wanting to meet you.” Depp said and I nodded, but I really wasn’t sure if I should go back inside or not. This was his meeting, but he insisted, so I walked back inside. I stood next to Depp behind his desk and he stood up, taking my hand in his. He could tell that I was nervous because I had never walked into his office and had this happen before.

“Alpha Chris, Luna Jenny, this is my mate and queen, Brie. She's a bit nervous and she still thinks that she should knock when she comes in, even though I have told her that she doesn’t have to.” Depp said and I smirked, elbowing him in the side.

“Ow!” Depp said, wincing and we all laughed.

“It's very nice to meet you, Alpha Chris and Luna Jenny.” I said and they both nodded, then bowed.

“No, no, you don’t have to do that.” I quickly said, hating it when people bowed to me. Sure, I was mates with Depp and I was the queen, but I never took advantage of my position and treated others as I would want to be treated.

“My king, as you said we have come here because we heard that you had found your mate and wanted to meet her, but may I say that she is beautiful.” Luna Jenny said and I smiled warmly at her, blushing a little.

“But we really came here because we had a visitor come into our pack, the Gray Moon Lycan Pack and he was looking for a woman. He stayed there for almost three weeks when we finally told him to leave. He was scaring all the lycans and as you know we are never scared of anything, King Depp. He had actually put down one of our strongest just by shooting him up with a needle and we don’t know what was inside it, but he was down for a week. He told us that the woman he was looking for had different things inside of her and he wouldn’t stop until he found her and killed her.” Alpha Chris said and he and Luna Jenny both turned to look at me. I knew who it was, it was the hunter that Depp had told me about earlier, the one that had killed that poor woman and wasn’t going to stop until he killed all of my kind, which I was now the last of.

“Yes, you are right, he is looking for me. I am the last of my kind and I’m not running from him. I will not hide and when he does find me I will face him head on. Am I scared, I honestly don’t know if I should be or not, but I’m not going to run.” I replied, but the reaction I got shocked me. Alpha Chris puffed out his chest in what looked like pride and Luna Jenny smiled brightly at me.

“My queen, you are very brave and I feel honoured that we have finally met you in person. We are here to help you and protect you however we can.” Alpha Chris said and then looked at Depp.

“My king, I would like us to move my pack here, so that we can further help to protect the queen until this hunter is gone. If you will allow us to.” Alpha Chris asked and I was shocked. He barely knows me, neither of them do and yet they are prepared to protect me after the first time meeting me.

Depp’s P.O.V

When Alpha Chris and Luna Jenny came to visit they came with the sole intention of meeting my mate, which I didn’t mind, but it made me wonder how they knew about her. I was proud to confirm that I had found my mate after all these years of searching for her and we were busy discussing how it happened when there was a knock on the door, but I knew just who it was and it made me shake my head. After all these months of living here, she still feels the need to knock on my office door, even though I have told her time and time again that she doesn’t need to, that she could just walk right in. When she did walk in she quickly apologised and turned to leave, but I stopped her and asked her to come back inside, that they wanted to meet her. When she did come back inside she came and stood next to me, causing me to shake my head again. She feels that this is what she has to do, stand by my side and she told me once that was what her mother had done while her father was sitting at his desk. I have told her time and time again that I’m not like that, that she never had to do that with me, but she still keeps doing it. I knew that she hated it when they bowed their heads to her and she tried to stop them, but it was their way of showing her their respect. When they told us about the hunter staying in their pack and scaring them, it really pissed me off. No one had ever scared a lycan until that f*****g human came around and what did he have in that needle that was strong enough to put a lycan down for a week? I will have to look in the history books to see if I can find anything out or anything that we need to know. When Alpha Chris asked if his pack could move here to help protect Brie and I had to think a little about it before I decided. I mean sure I would never refuse help when it came to Brie’s protection, but could an Alpha and a king really live in the same place together? Yeah, sure they could, couldn’t they?

“Alright, let’s do this, but there will be rules. You rule your pack, but this is my kingdom and I will rule over my kingdom. If you try to challenge me at any time then you had better step up to that challenge and see it through. No unmated wolves are to live outside the castle and there are empty houses for the mated. They are all fully furnished and when it's time for you to go you leave each place as you found it, clean and everything intact. Is that clear?” I asked and they both nodded.

“Yes, my king, we completely understand and agree to the rules. We are only here until the danger and threats are gone.” Alpha Chris said and Luna Jenny nodded in agreement. I began typing up the agreement while Luna Jenny and Brie chatted, then I had Alpha Chris and Luna Jenny sign it.

“Alright then, now that is all done, I want you to link the members of your pack and let them know to pack up everything, then make their way here, but tell them to be careful. If they feel that they are being followed or something isn’t right then stop somewhere for a day and then start back up the next morning so as to not draw attention. This will be the biggest kingdom ever and if you decide to stay here afterwards then we will have to get you a territory close to here. I feel that all lycans should stay close to their kind, so we will build your pack a territory.” I said and they all nodded. I watched as Alpha Chris’s eyes glazed over, mind-linking his pack and telling them everything that I had told him to, then his eyes became clear once again after he was finished.

“They all agreed and they are excited to come here, maybe some will even find their true mates here.” Alpha Chris said and I nodded.

“Maybe they will, you never know. Right then, how about you two go find a house you want to stay in until then and we will start building your territory closer to here tomorrow.” I said and they both nodded, leaving my office. Tomorrow was going to be a long day, but it would be worth it to keep my mate safe.

Mona’s P.O.V

I couldn’t help overhearing them talk about the hunter that was after Brie and a part of me thought it was funny and couldn’t wait until he finds her and gets rid of her, but the other part of me growled and wanted to protect her. I have two personalities, which often causes me a lot of problems. There was the mean side of me that hates everyone and wants everything for herself, then there is the normal good side of me that just wants peace and to help. I take medication for it, but sometimes my mean personality wins over. I deal with it as best as I can, but I haven’t told a soul and the only one that knows is my Lycan, Drilly. She doesn’t like that side of me, but she keeps her at bay most of the time. Now wasn’t one of those times and I was quickly coming up with a plan, but I needed to keep it to myself and keep my thoughts blocked off. I knew that I needed to get a place, one that was far from the kingdom and any territory that was loyal to the kingdom. When my plan hits it's going to be so much fun. I’m going to torture this b***h until she goes crazy and I know just how to do it. Once my plan is all set all I will have to do is wait until I can get her then I can set everything into motion. I’m just going to need to keep an ear out for when and where. This is going to be one hell of a ride.
