Act 5 Scene 1

(Yemisi decided to stay back at break to read and to discuss some topics with her friend, Bola)

Yemisi:

Bola, So were you able to understand the topics we talked about yesterday?

Bola:

Yes.

Yemisi:

That's so nice because we can't afford to waste more time on that topic.

Bola:

Sure. Let's solve some problems in Mathematics before the next period.

Yemisi:

That's so thoughtful of you. But you know I don't really like that subject called Mathematics.

Bola:

Yes, I know. That was why I said we should solve some problems in it so that you will be familiar with it. Because practice makes perfect. And Mathematics needs daily attempt in other to get it.

Yemisi:

Okay.

Let's try it then. I pray it won't be boring.

Bola:

It won't.

(Brings out their textbooks and started solving until they got the answer)

Yemisi:

(Happy) Wow! Mathematics is actually fun.

Bola:

Now you know. I told you.

(Their class teacher noticed them and decided to join them and get to know what they were doing)

Mrs Babalola:

Hello girls. What are you guys up to? Why are you not out for break?

Yemisi:

We are good Ma. We just decided to teach ourselves how to solve some problems in Mathematics.

Mrs Babalola:

That was a brilliant idea. And whose idea was it?

Bola:

Mine. I realized that she doesn't like solving problems in Mathematics, so I decided to force her to do some today.

Yemisi:

Which I later realised that Mathematics is actually fun if only you can pay attention.

Mrs Babalola:

That's great. But you should also play a bit.Now go for your break to relieve some stress in your body.

Yemisi:

Okay ma. Thank you.

(Bola and Yemisi left the class room to play a little outside the class)
