(It is Friday morning, Daddy is dressed in Buba, Sokoto and Agbada with matching shoes. He is anxious to receive his new bride)

Daddy:

Mama Yemisi!!

Mama Yemisi:

Yes my husband, I hope there is no problem

Daddy: There will be, if you Continue to keep Silent whenever I call you.

Mama Yemisi:

I'm sorry my husband, forgive me. I was in the bathroom when you called, so i couldn't hear you.

Daddy:

I know you are jealous that I'm bringing in a new wife you had better be of good behaviour. Don't try any silly trick. Don't make her uncomfortable in this house. I'm I understood? ( Turns to his daughters). Yemisi/Iyabo/Ayo ny new wife is your second mother. You must give her the respect you accord your mother. I'm I clear?

Yemisi/Iyabo/Ayo:

Yes father. We will do as you have said.

Daddy:

Now listen! You and your children must clean up this sitting room thoroughly. My wife soon be here.

Mama Yemisi:

Yes my husband.

Daddy:

Please move out your belongings from my room. My new wife will stay there with me.

You can share the children's room for now untill I have money to make an addition room outside the house.

Mama Yemisi:

(Looks sad) Yes my husband.

Daddy:

(Turns to go, then stops to add) Prepare pounded yam with bitter leaf soup. That will be for my wife and I. You can prepare it with the bush meat and Cow hide I brought yesterday as for you and your kids, prepare another pot of Soup with some of the dried fish we have in the house.

Mama Yemisi:

Yes my husband (Frowning)

Daddy:

(Mutters) Useless woman, she has not seen anything yet.
