Nina’s POV I found an opportunity and couldn’t let it slip by me. The hallway from my to the door was empty. There was no sign of my guard. I didn’t have much time. I tiptoed out of my room and walked towards the stairs. I peeped towards the foyer which usually had guards around there but there were none. It had to be my lucky day. I quickly rushed down the stairs and sprinted towards the door as fast as I could. When I got out safely, I saw a group of palace guards. I didn’t take any of their attention because they were busy drinking, which made me sigh in relief. I walked by casually, covering my face with my hair until I was out of sight.
