By the time I left for the other wing of the palace, I could already feel the security get tighter. I felt some noises downstairs as Nicolai gave them strict orders. They were glad I didn’t behead them for letting Nina slip by them that easily.
If it was before, the remains of their bodies after I had brutally mutilated them would be fed to the pack’s dogs. I didn't know what changed in me now. I couldn’t just kill them when I knew they had a family to go back to at the end of today, so I instructed them to not be near my palace again which I knew they heard loud and clear.
