Anna's Pov
I had decided to run a quick errand that fateful day and I decided to do that without the security following me all the way there. I wanted to go see the guy I had given a job to whom I had not heard from since the previous day.
"Why am I not able to reach Nico right now? What has happened to him? Was he even able to carry out the job I gave to him?" I said to myself as I paced my room in anxiousness. The silence was killing and I wanted to be sure that he had done a good job.
"I mean, how hard could it be to carry out such a simple task? Why has his line not been reachable since yesterday? Is he not supposed to have given me some kind of feedback yet?"
