"You won't be able to find her. Not unless she wants you to," Isaac sighed. I growled at him.

"Why was she like that? One moment she looked like she would kill me the next she was sweet and pleading," None of this makes sense.

"She does that. It's the Hyde effect of the enhancement,"

"The Hyde effect?" Elijah asked.

"What did she tell you when she started to act differently?" he asked me ignoring his question.

"She told me that she couldn't be what I wanted her to be. To find someone else,"

"I would listen to her if I were you," I turned to give him my full attention. "Listen, Edith was the daughter of Alpha Kaine Benjamin and Luna Anahi Heatherstone. They ran one of the biggest packs until Fire Rose took them down after the Luna sister of Anahi Heatherstone was killed.

"Anahi went into labor that night trying to protect her daughters. She came across a woman named Cassian Pierce a woman we all know as mother.

"Mother took the infants after Anahi died and took them home with her. A navy base in Chicago where both girls were raised as soldiers. Edith turned when she was thirteen inheriting her father's alpha call. Samaritan didn't shift until she was fifteen. By then, E had already gone through several heats and had killed countless demons and vampires.

"She became distant and angry. She stopped listening to mother to Sam and would lash out at everyone. The regret and the agony she and her wolf were in was unbearable for her. She wanted what she felt to stop. Mother had her on round the clock suicide watch for a couple of years.

"Mother needed them both. They had already been experimented on other wolves but never one with alpha genetics. E had always been stronger than Sam it was why she had done all that she did in the first place. So Sam wouldn't have to do it.

"Mother created this enhancement called CF64. What it does is it separates the wolf from the human. It gives the upper hand to the wolf. In short, it traps the human in the mind as if it was the wolf. The wolf uses the human to be social and act human just like we use our wolf to have the upper hand against a potential threat.

"She started with a high dosage. The results were flawless at first but then the Hyde effect set in. There were days when Edith was herself and others when it was her wolf, Flayme.

"One day they sent us to North Korea to retrieve a file. The target who had the file shot her. She shifted killed everyone on the room ours and theirs. We had to sedate her for six days until the effect wore off.

"Mother said she wouldn't remember but she did. That was the day they began a low dosage her. It keeps her wolf in charge of the body and it stops it from shifting unless It's severely injured.

"Her wolf is an animal and thinks it's in charge. Edith went as far as believing that that is who she is now. She knows what she's doing is wrong but she said this is what she was born to do and that she's happy she was chosen not someone else,"

"Do the humans know of this?" I asked.

"Just the division we work for. Its called human force,"

"How old is she?" Elijah asked.

"Twenty Three,"

"She's been enhanced for eight years?" Issac nodded.

"What else does it do?" I asked.

"Well, since the wolf is in charge. She can use any wolf power. Sight, smell, speed, strength. It makes her twice as stronger. Angrier. She's as powerful as an alpha male. Together, she and I have taken down Covens of Vampires and Demons. Countless wolves even humans who threaten to expose the Supernatural elements,"

"How can no one knows about this?" I asked.

"It has nothing to do with supernatural beings outside of royalty. Human Force was established before the human race flourished. To keep them safe and to hide the rest of the remaining Royals,"

"This human force. Is it run by humans?" I asked. He shrugged.

"As far as I know, no one really knows who gives the orders. E and I answered to Mother. Mother answered to the vampire pureblood Cassandra Sterling. Rumors say Cassandra is related to the Vampire King Armadian Sterling. I really don't know what the hell is happening there. All I did was follow orders.

"We didn't have a choice. If someone like mother, Cassian Pierce follows orders without questioning them what do you think those of us not as strong as she should do? Even if you can get through to Edith, they aren't going to let her go. They rather kill her or kill you and everything that would potentially make her focus stray,"

"How do you know hey won't let her go. She's free now," I asked. He smirked.

"She's not free, man. Edith is walking time bomb. Mother let her go off base on her own sure but I can guarantee you that there is always someone not too far behind this girl to make sure she doesn't expose what is happening.

"They have Sam. Right now, the wolf doesn't care because she's doing what she wants. All mother has to do is suggest giving this to Sam and E will be back there. They have leverage and they will use it. Edith won't risk Sam,"

"Are they identical twins?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No, Sam is a lot different than E. Her hair is dark, her skin is pale. Her eyes are silver sometimes they look purple,"

"You like this Sam?" Elijah teased.

"Not like that. I mean I wish that I could have wanted her like that. She's pure, you know like the kind of girl that deserves the world. She was just never my type,"

"Troublesome insane girls are your type," they both laughed. I don't find that amusing at all.

"Well, my mate is a fighter. That should tell you all you need to know,"

I had so many more questions bubbling up in me but I didn't dare voice them yet. I need to find my mate. Even if she wants me to move on, I can't. What they're doing to her is wrong. I can help her become herself again and make her see that she is worth so much more than what they have made her out to be. She's a whole lot more than what she's settling for.
